The location is very good, get to the catherdral from the garden only takes 3 minutes. We can see Etna from our balcony. The Sky roof top restaurant is vey nice, good food and wine, with view of Etna

Clean room was small but we didn’t spend much time in it overall great location and very friendly staff

A highlight was the complimentary lemonade at the front desk, and they could help call a taxi to the bus terminal (note that you should make sure the taxi fare is the same as what you agreed beforehand, as they might try to charge extra)

The location was perfect – just a short walk to the main pedestrian street, accessible through a peaceful, green garden. The service was outstanding, and the breakfast offered an impressive variety of delicious options

A room with a view!! Balconies overlook the sea and Etna so it's lovely to sit out. The room is a little dated and could do with a little less furniture to have more room for luggage etc

Got an upgrade to a water facing room & i can't describe the incredible view. The location is great, close to the main bus stop, shops & restarants. Pool was a little chilly (late Sept)

The most amazing experience ever.  The view from our balcony - we stayed on the 4th floor and had the most magnificent view of the sea, the whole Taormina city.  Glorious during the day and spectacular during the night

Hotel with an amazing view! A had a room with sea view and balcony. There is an amazing view to the Ionic sea and Etna from the balcony. The hotel also have a pool and spa zone. A very good place to relax!

  It was located at the top and we caught a bus for 2euros to the hotel. It was a 5 mins walk to the main hub. Perfect!!!! The pool was amazing. The view was something out of a movie with its picturesque background

  O really the rooms and facilities were beyond expectations and we would have liked to have stayed longer but we had already booked our other hotels in another city.   5++++ experience that we will never forget

This place is spot on the perfect location. staff is exceptionally humble and polite. be prepared for the warmest welcome by twins at the reception. and it’s amazing they are literally identical twins

We spent more time with Luigi and he’s so sweet and always eager to help that you feel like talking on and on and on. They have the best suggestions for good coffee and anything you want to visit

It might be a 3 star with ageing style and furnishing but it can give any 4 star run for their money coz of its people and location 👍 I would choose it every time I’m in Taormina

The twins at the reception are very nice and have good tips for local places. Breakfast is simple but good and the two ladies who handle it are very friendly and helpful

The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a type of hotel that keeps your keys when you leave. Which isn't a problem for me. There's a 24hr front desk attendant. The beach view rooms are worth it. Great views.

I don’t have any complaints, a simple place with some breakfast choices. Right near the sea which was great. The staff was very friendly and there was a 24/7 reception

So if you want a verry good room don't come here, I mean about the location and how clean is it, it's a 10, but because the aspect of the room is like a 3,5, the bathroom fan didn't work property and it was a verry big disadvantage

I drove up from the foot of the mountain thinking that the hotel I booked was very high up in the mountain, but it turned out to be in the center. It was very convenient to go everywhere

We have been to many locations but this surpasses many if not to say everything. The shared - unbeatable - all homemade breakfast - was a blast. We can warmly and with a clear conscience recommend the Rocca Castello

The beach — Isola Bella — is about a 25-minute walk away (with lots of stairs). I really enjoyed the terrace! :)

The gardens are beautiful & relaxing! From the outside, it doesn't look like much because it is on a cliff but once inside some rooms have a beautiful view of the seas

Pros: great location close to the main center with all the shops/restaurants. Also only a 5 min walk to the cable cars giving you direct access to the beach. Breakfast in the AM was very good and the staff was very kind

It said that I would find the keys to the room in the door, but they were not there!!! My sleepy brain could only think of going down to the empty reception and picking up the keys from there

Nice hotel! I had a very late check-in after they closed the reception. Very strange! I chose a hotel with a 24/7 reception! They left me a note with detailed instructions on the hotel door

You can see the sunrise over the sea from the roof of the hotel, it is so beautiful!

This hotel is at a perfect location to visit Taormina. 1min walk from the free shuttle. Nice rooftop view. Great A/C. The only thing was that the beds were too soft for me. I recommend.

Perfect location if you're coming by bus (10 mins walk from the terminal) or want to be close to the funicular to the beach (walk to Isola Bella, beautiful!!). Main town is just a hop, skip and a jump away (short stroll)

While the rooms are very small and very basically furnished, the amazing location and outstanding service and friendliness of owners Santina and Michele more than make up for it. On top of that, you cannot beat the price

Very good location - short walk to the city centre, bus station, and funicular. The stairs which lead to the beach were also nearby (3 mins). Overall we felt safe walking back from the city centre at night

Good place to stay, with convenient parking. Short 8 min walk to the main area, but quiet for place. The breakfast whole limited, was very fresh and tasty.

It’s not clearly advertised upfront. Additionally one morning we were made to wait over an hour for breakfast

Communication from the property was clear and prompt. We were delayed and had to check in after hours, and were given very clear instructions to assist. Can't fault the service at all

(different to some in photos) The Maintenance Assistant can be seen working on site every day. The citrus trees in the grounds provide natural shade to the pool and some terraces

However, I would suggest a Tree Surgeon needs to give them some attention. If not within a few years the trees will have taken over, obscuring lovely views and intruding onto terraces/ balconies

The hotel is ideally located close to the beach and also the cable car that takes you into Taormina town. The staff was helpful, friendly, cheerful and the service was good

Extremely good value for money, the hotel even has a beach nearby as well as the Isola Bella, a gorgeous island paradise

Spiaggia beach is at the bottom of the hotel steps, and Isola Bella is an 8-minute walk away. A day trip to Mount Etna is about an hour's drive away

Thanks to Angelo, a truly excellent cook, storyteller, multilingual, and always cheerful—truly wonderful! The hotel is also a perfect base; it's within walking distance (or by cable car) of Traormina town center (although it's a steep 30-minute climb)

Fantastic hotel in a perfect location. We had rooms 4 and 6; the three of us shared three bathrooms. There was a wonderful shower, a kettle with coffee and tea, a refrigerator, and air conditioning

We chose the hotel because it was within our budget and it turned out to be a quaint boutique hotel in a great position with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely choose it again

The property is on the middle of nowhere. Either go down to the beach, or go up to the town, have to go through the stairs or hills.

We had a fantastic stay at Residence Terra Rossa. Our room and the grounds were spotless clean. We traveled with our kids (ages 6, 8, 10) and we are an active family so we had no issues with the vast number of stairs

If I had to list cons they would be as follows: 1) the after hours check-in instructions were provided after we already took off on our flight which made me a bit nervous - I subsequently had to provide visa details during our layover - I was already using an e-Sim and I had to roam to get a text to approve payment - not the end of the world but I would have liked to have this sorted before leaving...

In the very heart of Taormina. Just outside our door cascading does the stairs of a very narrow via was a super cool restaurant. Shopping. Off the chain. Lovely linens. Will return out of summer season

Didn’t mention that in the ******* description. Manager was difficult to coordinate access with after messaging several times the day before our arrival. Instructions were last minute on how to check in

Just outside of the B&B are tons of restaurants, stores and entertainment areas. Everything was walking distance. The room itself was impeccable, clean and comfortable. The host offered multiple snacks and a mini fridge

If you come in the high season expect some noise unless you’re out and about until late at night

It is literally described as the secret garden and was not very easy to find but worth it in the end

Wonderful place to stay in Taormina. Spacy rooms with balconies and terrace on the roof with great views, where you can eat the breakfast or just spend some time and relax

And last but not least - wonderful host Emanuele who is very nice and sociable and knows everything about the neighborhood

The location is pretty perfect at the very beginning of the main steet with access to restaurants, busses and cable car (when in use) The rooms are very basic. No soundproofing and the bed was also bare minimum

The beach is not far either and if it is working, you can take the funicular. We did the stairs and it was fine

You can also walk to the ancient theater and the Taormina Park with great views of the water, the country-side, and Mt. Michele can make recommendations for you and is extremely responsive and helpful on WhatsApp

To get to the beach take the Cabel car, you can walk but is is a steep climb if you are not a very fit person, just to walk down is hard Book it and you won’t get disappointed

Amazing view from the balcony, very comfortable bed, strong water pressure in the shower, fast wifi. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were lovely and I will remember them forever

So kind and caring, which really made the entire experience even better than 5 stars. Having onsite parking was a huge plus as well. You can easily walk to city center for restaurants and shopping
