Lady Hill in Taormina

I recently stayed at this B&B in Taormina and had a mixed experience. The location is definitely a highlight—just a short 10-minute walk from Porta Messina, making it easy to explore the town and its charming streets.

However, the building itself feels quite outdated, and the rooms could benefit from renovation and modernization. One of the biggest issues was the shower—poor water flow and an extremely sensitive temperature adjustment made it difficult to enjoy a comfortable shower. In addition, they don't provide iron due to local regulations, which was quite inconvenient since we were there for a wedding event. The breakfast was basic but they do offer local drink known as Granita which was nice.

On the bright side, the rooms come equipped with a small fridge, which was essential given the hot weather. The bed was comfortable, and the mattress provided good support. Additionally, the WiFi worked well, which was a definite plus.

Overall, the B&B's location is great, but the accommodation itself could use some improvements to enhance the experience for future guests.

Basic but clean
Taormina is not cheap so for afordable place to stay options are limited. Carmen welcomed us and was super nice. Thé place seems like an old school. Very very clean but this is a basic room convenient if your on a budget. Breakfast is less than basic and takes place in thé adjacent lady bar wich consist basically of a coffee and a croissant so free breakfast is an overstatement personnaly I can and would afford moré but on a budget its ok
