B&B Casa Michele in Taormina

Amazing view from the balcony, very comfortable bed, strong water pressure in the shower, fast wifi. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were lovely and I will remember them forever. So kind and caring, which really made the entire experience even better than 5 stars. Having onsite parking was a huge plus as well. You can easily walk to city center for restaurants and shopping. The beach is not far either and if it is working, you can take the funicular. We did the stairs and it was fine. You can also walk to the ancient theater and the Taormina Park with great views of the water, the country-side, and Mt. Etna. Michele can make recommendations for you and is extremely responsive and helpful on WhatsApp. I can't recommend Casa Michele enough. If you are in Taormina, stay here, you will have a wonderful vacation that won't break the bank.

The accommodation is absolutely perfect. The apartment is very spacious and clean. It has 2 bedrooms, one large living room, a very clean bathroom and a kitchen with a large fridge and plates and cutlery. The terrace faces this absolutely stunning view of the coast and the beach. Contact with Michele was easy and prompt via WhatsApp. Michele's parents are the most fabulous elderly people ever: so nice and kind, always willing to help. They prepare the most fantastic breakfast, full of fresh fruits, bread, butter, jams, delicious croissants and rich coffee. The property is like 10 mins walk to the center, in a quiet area away from the main tourist activity. Absolutely recommend it when visiting Taormina.

This family is sincere and welcoming, they were very nice to our 1 year old daughter. It was a nice stay. Incredible view, near city centre.

I can only repeat what all the other reviewers said. Our room had a balcony with a stunning view of the coast, and the town was a 5-10 minute walk away. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was functional and clean. Breakfast was fantastic, with rich Lavezza coffee, fresh fruit salad, rolls and croissants with our choice of fillings (ricotta, chocolate, pistachio, marmalade). Best of all were Michele himself, his parents Salvatore and Mimma, who all showed us what friendliness and hospitality really is. If I return to Taormina, this is where I will stay!

Super room super view. Very nice price and fantastic couple running the B&B. A short walk from the beautiful city. To get to the beach take the Cabel car, you can walk but is is a steep climb if you are not a very fit person, just to walk down is hard Book it and you won’t get disappointed

We stayed at Casa Michele for 4 nights in June. Very happy with everything. Michele was great to communicate with. The room was perfect, quiet, and had a brilliant view of Taormina, with a balcony to sit on. Great central location close to everything you want to do. We walked down to the beach and back up, but there is a gondola, perhaps 3 minutes away, that will whisk you there and back instead of the stairs. There are many, many fancy hotels in Taormina but I would not hesitate to stay here again. It would not be possible to have a better location or friendlier service, or better breakfast than Casa Michele.

There are 5 star places and then there are FIVE STAR PLACES!! This place is amazing. Do yourself a favor and book this place right now if its available. Michele and his family are so unbelievably kind and helpful. They have an amazing breakfast, the rooms are super nice and the view from their place is one of the best in the world. They even gave us a joy ride in their 1969 Fiat! Their place is a 2 minute walk to the city center and could not be in any better location. I wish I could live there and hope someday I am lucky enough to go back to stay with Michele and his family

B&B hosted by Salvatore, Mimma and their son Michele. They are extremely kind and helpful. The room has stunning views over the coast. The bed is good and the bathroom is ok. Breakfast is good, with fruit, bread, ham, cheese, croissants and excellent Italian coffee. We enjoyed the experience of living in an authentic old fashioned Sicilian house with an authentic Sicilian family. It's 5-10 minutes from the city center, which is good to avoid the hordes of tourists that swarm Taormina, plus the fantastic views.
