Agriturismo La Coppa in Asciano

There is no better place to experience la dolce vita in Tuscany than La Coppa. Located on a fantastic hill, with stunning views and sunsets almost every day, far from the main road and out of sight of any towns (yet close enough to Asciano to go quickly for groceries), promising peace and quiet. Yet, the best part of La Coppa is Angela, a true and natural hostess, who (even despite her limited English) made us feel incredibly welcome and taken care of. Her cuisine is also absolutely the best, outperforming any restaurant we visited, with often with super local food and wine, and a stunning sunset across the swimming pool as a background. Eating there, even once, is absolutely necessary to experience the true La Coppa! Also, a lot to see and do in the neighbourhood, with more and less touristy places around, like the monastery, Crete Senesi, and beautiful villages all around.

The only downside we faced was related to our electric car - while our range was much higher than usual (warm, small distances, low speeds) there was no possibility to charge on location, and the availability of car chargers in the neighbourhood is very limited (and many of them did not work). We had to plan ahead a bit more than usual, visiting bigger cities or going a bit out of way to charge.

We spent three weeks here working remotely - the internet connection was good enough (although occasionally breaking up), and the views from our 'work station' were incredible. I can also wholeheartedly recommend La Coppa for a workation!

Agriturismo La Coppa offers the true Tuscan experience. Our apartment was on the first floor. We had our kitchen. On our 2nd night, we ate a meal that Signora Anjela made and it was superb! We were stuffed to the gills! And the flavor of the different kinds of food was top notched! They also have 4 cats in the property which are very sweet. This property is at the end of the road, and overlooking the Tuscan hills. Signora Anjela is very attentive to your needs. We just txt her through Watsapp and she comes knocking at our door. She doesnt speak much english but we used google translate to communicate. She even initiated using the app. La Coppa has trully exceeded our expectations. They have helped me check off my Tuscan bucket list. Grazie mille La Coppa!

Very nice vila for family or couple, very friendly owners. If you stay, you must try evening dinner making by owners. 10/10 dinner.
Have a nice and clean pool, nice rooms.
Also there is 🐢 and 🐎, so for kids its very important.

What a wonderful stay! Clean, large rooms with a pool and incredible views! Highly recommend eating dinner on the property served by Angela and her husband Paolo, their food and hospitality was amazing.

We spent 1 week with my wife and our 2 kids (1 & 2 years old).
Large & clean flat, amazing spot for the pool, very calm but close to Asciano, diners can be served in the common room (descent price and excellent)… and last but Not Least: hosts are very kind and helpful!
