This guest house is on the third floor of an old block right in the middle of the city. It is so convenient but mostly we loved the welcome, the comfort, cleanliness and attention to detail in understanding visitors’ needs and meeting them so generously.

The RC guesthouse was perfect in every way, from host Francesca, who was accessible and helpful, to the daily room cleaning woman from Peru, who was thorough and cheerful, to the comfortable accommodations, to the central location. I give RC 6 out of 5 stars!

Perfect location
This is a great hotel! The location is wonderful, everything is very clean, and there’s a lovely kitchen room with coffee and tea. There are one of two coffee shops in the block where you can get a pastry to go with your coffee!

We usually prefer to stay in local b&bs instead of large chain hotels. This place was wonderful. We stayed here almost a week. Room size was great, large bathroom, spotless upon arrival. It’s close to everything you want to see and do in Firenze and the hosts are great at staying in contact with you, answering questions, and generally helping with anything you need. The only thing I will say is if you don’t like stairs or have any mobility issues, this is probably not a good choice as the first flight of roughly 20 stairs to the level with the elevator might be rough- especially hauling luggage up it. We didn’t have any issues but I could see how others would not like it.

Five stars to this place. The location is superb. After a few steps you have a lift to the Relais Cavalcanti and the reception desk is amazing. Very friendly and eager to please your requirements. A strong recommendation to stay here. We spent 5 wonderful days and everything was just perfect. The price is very reasonable. We hope to come back. Thanks, thanks so much.

Perfect location for exploring Florence and beyond. A five minute walk from the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vechio. A 15 minute walk to the train station gives great access to explore Sienna, Pisa and Rome. The accommodation is gorgeous with private bedrooms and bathrooms and access to a shared well equipped kitchen and lounge. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and the rooms are cleaned every day. We really appreciated the air conditioning in our room after exploring in the heat all day. I will definitely return. The hotel has a lift but there are 20 stairs up to the lift.
