Staff was great, all spoke English always trying to make our stay memorable. Decor is old Italian but very functional. Mario was great, ran out to bring our luggage upon our arrival, took up to our room and explained how everything worked. Would not hesitate to stay there again

Excellent location and secure paid parking. Rooms are quiet when windows are closed. Bathroom/shower facilities are not satisfactory and in need of updates. No elevator. Carrying luggage up and down can be a struggle. Breakfast starts at 08:00 and we had to leave before the time. The reception hours are limited.

La Gemma was great for our quick stay in Lucca. Was easy to find, staff was kind, things were clean. The area is lovely for exploring in and around Lucca.

We reserved a room that was on the second floor (in other words, the 3rd floor). We were hoping for a ground floor, but we were advised that was not available. However, we were moved to anothe location, with minimum stairs. We were very grateful!

Loved this spot in Lucca. Comfy bed, updated bathroom and lovely breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to store my bag after check-out time which gave me more time to explore Lucca. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a pleasant place for us. It is not at all elegant, and the stairwell to the rooms showed its age, but our room was comfortable, nicely appointed, and very clean. The Albergo was very cute and cozy. Front desk staff were very helpful and kind. They allowed us to store our luggage after check out so we could explore the town before our train. The town is very walkable. We enjoyed walking the wall around the town. Shout out to the restaurant Blend in Piazza San Giusto. The soups are out of this world and they have many gluten free options as well.

Well-maintained property and very clean room (I stayed in the Annex building but had breakfast in the main one). Super helpful staff. Ideal location. Close to train station (less than 10 minutes walk) and at the edge of the city center but still conveniently located within walking distance to everything.

Lovely historic and quaint hotel in a very central location. Avoid the front first floor room No. 21 as the windows don't keep the sound out of the character-filled lane outside! Note - you can't drive to this and many other hotels in the pedestrian area of the old town in Lucca. Best gelati in Lucca opposite the front door of the hotel.

This B&B surpassed everything I had in mind. The drive into the Lucca walls and to the B&B is more than difficult but once you are there and parked... wow!!! When we got lost, I called the B&B and they met me in the Piazza where we were and escorted us to the hotel to get settled. The service is impeccable and the rooms are very large, clean, very French and stunning!!!! The bathroom is spacious...

Excellent find in Lucca We loved our stay. The hosts were fabulous. The food was fabulous. We did have a little difficulty finding it. As it is in the center of town, but somewhat hidden.

We had a fantastic stay at B&B La Boheme - the rooms were huge, clean, and beautifully decorated, and the staff were so friendly and helpful! Breakfasts were excellent too. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We stayed with a large group and it couldn't have been better. The location and the villa are absolutely beautiful, food was great, but most of all the service was fantastic. A big thank you to Adele, Emilio and Cosmin and the whole team for making our trip a success, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of if!

The service is perfect, all the supporting team members were trying to meet our needs. They never tried to apply the restriction they might have on us. We just did crazy parties every night. The most important thing is the cat "Alfonso", he is soooooooooooooooooooo cute! I want to say sorry to him as we disturbed his good sleeps of at least 3 nights.

We stayed at Villa Rinascimento for two weeks in August 2021 and absolutely enjoyed our stay in this enchanting place. Our room in the "Dependance" was simple yet cosy and clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. What we loved in particular was the great location of this accommodation (a drive of only about 15-20 minutes to Lucca and Pisa each)!

Stayed there first when it opened in 1995. It was heavenly. Stayed there again some 15 years later, it didn’t disappoint.

I would put 5 stars if more care was given to the area around the "dépendances", it looked abandoned during my quick stay. Otherwise the room was clean, the swimming very nice and the breakfast really ok. Personnel are most friendly and effective. Good value for money.

Stayed for one night at the tango hotel after a problem with our reservation at a different hotel.. The owners were wonderful. Met us at the other hotel to escort us to their hotel. They recommended a wonderful restaurant that the locals eat at. Our room was very comfortable. The bed was amazing. Had the best sleep of our vacation so far!! Easy walk to the walked city. Free parking on site....

We last visited Lucca six years ago, and we returned this year to find Tangohotel better than ever. The third floor patio has been completed, and it is modern, functional, and comfortable, with a view up Via della Formica of the cathedral tower. Tangohotel is a sturdy, very clean, and well-maintained alternative to pricey conventional hotels, and we would never consider staying anywhere else in Lucca...

We arrived at the hotel very early and they were very accommodating. We had several correspondence with the hotel prior to arrival and always got a very prompt response. The hotel is simple clean and tidy, which is all we needed. It is located approximately 10 minutes walk from the main town of lucca. We didn’t inquire about breakfast and just waited that we got to Town to eat but we were informed...

Warm welcome, helpful staff, attentive to customers, a big thank you to them. Beautifully decorated room. Very pleasant night in very decent bedding. The bathroom was large, allowing easy movement and access to the furniture was convenient.

If you are visiting Lucca for the LSF summer festival this is a great find. Just a 10 minute walk to the big stadium and 15 to the one in the square. The rooms are quite small but really well equipped with air conditioning and the hosts could not have done more to make us feel at home. They even extended check out to help us with post Blur recovery!!

Very nice hotel, the building is lovely renovated and everything is functionnal. The owners are very nice and accomodating and the price is reasonable. It is not too far from the city center of Lucca but conveniently situated and close to the station. We used the hotel as a base camp for a 3 day trip around Tuscany and we really appreciated it.

I really love the charm of this place, my only negative comment is not actually about the place but the people outside at night as they can be loud while they stay in front of the hotel as they enjoy chatting. Hard to sleep at times.

This place really is something different. It's got a really cool design and the suite is massive. It's very calm and probably 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Lucca but you get a peace and quiet that you probably won't get inside the walls. The breakfast is nice and the two staff members I dealt with were very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

Your hotel was wonderful,we loved all the paintings on the walls and the wrought iron four poster bed with historical helmets on the side for lights . The bathroom was lovely. But most of all the staff were fantastic and so helpful. When we come back will definitely request to stay in the room that overlooks the garden with a roll top bath. The walk into Lucca center took us about 15 minutes stroll...

Very nice place to stay couple of nights. A direct route to walk to the gate Elisa of oli town Lucca. I strongly recommend. The staff is also very friendly, helpfull and nice.

Absolutely adored this place. The very essence of pure tranquility, the grounds are awesome, so lush, green and spacious. Great sized pool and comfy sunloungers that you're not battling for. On the edge of Lucca, its really easy to get into the centre (I'm told there is a direct bus but we drove in and parked outside of the wall). The apartment was so lovely, clean, fresh and cool. Wow what a place! We had the most relaxing time at ai santinelli, the location is perfect being in a village but still very much feeling like you’re in the hills. The pool area is so beautiful and we enjoyed grabbing drinks from the honesty fridge. The location is perfect for travellers with a car, the hotel has a huge parking lot. The walking distance to the old center gate is 10 minutes. The rooms are not recently renovated but they were clean, air conditioning working perfectly. We handled the communication and check in with Alia, she is fluent in English also if you don’t speak Italian. She very friendly and responsive to requests. Hotel...

The hotel rooms are pretty and clear,compared to other 2 stars hotels,and they do speak english (wich could be helpfull).Also wothy a mention that they give you a map of the town and a quick guidance about the most popular and finest structures and restaurants :D

Like most places in Italy it is a challenge finding your hotel. Once found it was a very nice place. Our private bathroom which we misunderstood is a private bathroom down the hall. All in all a good place to stay.

I stayed at this B&B for a couple of days and really enjoyed it! The location is just a couple of minutes away from the city center and the room itself is well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The owner is super kind and you can ask him for any advice. Would really recommend it and will definitely come back!

Super nice B&B. The entry hall is stunning and my room was pretty and clean. There is also a private parking spot. For me the location was perfect, the center of Lucca is just a five minutes walk away and you can find a nice bakery just around the corner. Really enjoyed my stay.

Very handy location, more of a boutique hotel than a B&B, stunning building, small courtyard carpark but plenty of onstreet parking options. Perfect for the Lucca Summer Festival. No breakfast is included in the rates.

The rooms are well furnished and clean, the garden is large and well kept, unfortunately the location penalizes it. The room facing the street and the bar is noisy while the room on the opposite side is not. Good breakfast and dinner.

Location in a quiet area, large area. The swimming pool is open 9.30-19.00. Sunbeds and umbrellas, no food allowed. Apartment ok, two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen. Kitchen equipment ok, no sponge, washing-up liquid, cloths. Outside there is a table and chairs, an umbrella. Sun loungers and a clothes dryer available. Wifi problem.

The place is peaceful and quiet. I found the apartment clean enough and the owners kind enough. The pool has a nice view but there is no place in the shade. You have to pay separately for linen and electricity consumption. The air conditioner is placed in a room and to cool the whole house the doors must be kept open ... Rating: more than enough.

Not bad, beautiful place, isolated and quiet but at the same time close to several places of great interest. Nice and well maintained swimming pool but without a trace of shade despite the structure under which the deckchairs are placed. More than decent apartment, clean and quiet, with a nice outdoor space. Honest price. To go back.

Beautiful area, but the apartments desperately needs new paint and modernization. They even had CRT TVs which I havent seen in 20 years.

Best option for a night (or two or three or more) in Lucca. Right in the center, but tucked away in a quiet street and wrapped around an inner courtyard so you can wake up to birds rather than cars and after parties. Host is super communicative, the clever self-check in system is easy-peasy, the rooms are washed and decorated with care, and you can tell that the owner has travelled and knows what guests...

Stayed here during an off road cycle tour of Tuscany. The owner Mika is so kind and helpful. Location is great - so easy to get to everywhere & it is quiet. Our room was a bit of a disappointment because it was advertised as a ‘garden room’ when in reality it was dark; its only window was high up giving a view of someone’s washing line in a small courtyard. That may be the booking app’s fault though

The B&B has the perfect location in the heart of Lucca. You can walk everywhere, for example the tower and the main train station and delicious Trattorias. Mirco is a super friendly and attentive host who will help you with everything. The obly downside is the think walls, depending in your neighbours arguing. You shouldnt be sensitive towars that. Besides that, highly recommended.... ;)

Very nice place to stay in Lucca! The hotel is in the middle of the city center but in a quiet street so there's no noise at night. If you park at the free parking spot it's only a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Absolutely perfect! The room was very clean and cool. Also we were happily surprised with the decoration of the room and the garden view. Very classy. The owner is very friendly and helpful!...

Nice place to stay inside Lucca. The rooms in the ground floor are small but clean, and with good bathroom. No refrigerator in the rooms but one in the main reception. Maybe it needs air condition in the hot summer days. Also a lot of moisture smell. The instructions were clear and the host was excellent.

We had a comfortable, quiet room away from the traffic, yet the location is convenient for people who wish to explore Lucca inside the wall by foot. Breakfast was very good, too. And free protected parking at the back of the property makes this an especially attractive place for those who have cars.

We have been to Lucca many times and have now found a new home at Villa La Tuia. It was a wonderful stay. Our time in Lucca kept getting extended and we were thrilled that we could stay longer with Monica our wonderful hostess.

Old and charming My plan was to book a small hotel closer to Pisa so I didn't check the maps enough and we ended up a bit away...but that was a blessing instead because this small town is old and very beautiful. The B&B is old and very charming so we ended up having a lovely stay.

The distance from Lucca was too far for someone not with a car although there was a bus service. The rooms were very clean and tiled as was the bathroom which was quite large. The staff I encountered only spoke Italian bar one who wasn't always there so it was to my advantage that I had a little Italian. The majority of the visitors appeared to be Italian. We knew that there was no airco, but with the available fans the temperature was OK. Friendly man at the reception. Place is nog easy to find and the adress mentioned in the booking is nog the adress of the entrance,

We stayed here four nights. Our room was fine. Just the basics and nothing fancy, though it had a safe and a small refrigerator. There is no real view but the area is quiet. We rode our bikes into Lucca, which was about 8 km, most of it on a bike path. The breakfast is okay but the breads can be stale (my guess is that they are renewed every other day). For the price, it is a very good value...
