Everyone is nice and the grounds of the villa are very pretty but we were quite disappointed with the dinner at the hotel restaurant. I ordered the seabass which was okay tasty but for 24€ it was more like an appetizer than a meal… which is absolutely unacceptable to pay for dinner and stay hungry, three little rolls of fish on fennel mousse that was maximum 3 spoons of it and ONE asparagus cut in 3 pieces that were cold!!!!.
My husbands steak was not great with 3 little slices of tasteless potatoes and for 28€ feels like they just take your money and give you the minimum quality.

The hotel is in a old manor house in a small village, located about halfway between Lucca and Pisa. It was hard to find when we first arrived. If you like peace and quiet in the countryside, then this location is ideal. There are a few restaurants on the main road between Lucca and Pisa, but their opening hours are unpredictable. The hotel staff is friendly and breakfast is adequate.

Really nice hotel in a absolutely beautiful environment. The staff were very helpful and kind. We spent two nights at the hotel and enjoyed our time to the fullest – and will definitely return when we are in the neighborhood again.

Villa Rinascimento holds an incredibly special place in our hearts. We married here 16 years ago and visiting again with our three children (ages 9, 12, and 13) was nothing short of magical. We stayed in a family room on the top floor, and the beauty was breathtaking. The rooms maintain their traditional character with such authentic charm, you can truly feel the rich history of this amazing villa in every detail. The preservation of the historical elements while providing modern comfort is great. The views from Villa Rinascimento are stunning. But for the truly adventurous, take the hike up the mountain (Monte Moriglione di Penna) using the path directly behind the villa, the panoramic views of the area from up there are even more spectacular and absolutely worth the effort. This villa serves as the perfect launching point for exploring all that Tuscany has to offer. The location couldn't be more ideal for day trips and regional exploration. The property itself is a paradise. The beautiful pool provides the perfect respite after a day of sightseeing, and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Walking among the fruit trees and olive trees feels like stepping into a Tuscan dream. Every corner of the property is simply stunning. From our wedding day in 2009 to this recent family vacation, Villa Rinascimento continues to exceed expectations. It's rare to find a place that combines such historical significance, natural beauty, and genuine hospitality. Our children were enchanted by the property, and we can't wait to visit again!

Another great stay here at VR. This time we stayed even longer than 3 years ago, and it was just lovely. The place is kept in tip-top shape and the staff is wonderful! Been coming here for over 30 years now. It's considered a second home!

Been coming here for almost 30 years, on and off. And it's always been a treat! Staff is nice and the food (we had breakfast and lunch) is good. Over the years we have stayed both in the dependences and in the main building. Never had a bad room! They each have their own charm. The buildings and surrounding area has been tastefully upgraded over the years, and it's nice to see something that I accidentally discovered in my youth, still being maintained so nicely. Highly recommending this little gem for true and authentic Tuscan vibes!

The hotel building is beautiful. We stayed in a quad room in the main building. It's a very quirky building as you would expect from it's age and has a labyrinth of corridors which brings all sorts of treasure from the terrace on the first floor to the library and generally a lovely feel. The shower does indeed run cold as mentioned by several reviews but you just need to be patient. It takes a couple of mins to warm up and then all is good. Very hot and powerful shower The staff were all very friendly and gave lots of information about Pisa and Lucca including where to park. The location is beautiful surrounded by amazing views. There are several restaurants in the local village and a shop and bakery The pool is gorgeous although be warned a little on the chilly side but fine once you get in. Lots of loungers and no issues in finding one whenever we went. We had a drink each evening on the terrace which was fab and breakfast there as well The breakfast was good. Lots of choice. We are in the restaurant on one evening and the food and service were fabulous. We had a lovely time and would definitely return. Due to the age of this building and the nature of it, please don't expect 5 star modern fitting and fixtures but you won't be disappointed with what is here.

I can highly recommend this hotel! We got married here in September, and it was absolutely magical. The staff did everything to make our wedding perfect. They were incredibly helpful, both in the planning before we arrived and during the stay. The accommodation suited both the adults and the children (of different ages) perfectly. The house is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by olive trees and gigantic cypresses. We were able to take beautiful wedding photos, both outdoors and on the balcony with the arches. The pool area is suitable for both adults and children. The hotel arranged a barbecue buffet by the pool, just for us and our guests. We are so satisfied! We really had the wedding in Tuscany that we allways dreamed of.
