The biggest problem with this property is that we booked it from the ******* website listing as a Hotel. It is not a hotel. It is an air bnb. It should be listed on Vrbo, not *******. It is a perfectly fine air bnb type accommodation. However, if you are expecting a hotel with a staff to man a front desk, bell service, or an elevator, forget it. If one stays on the top floors, dragging one’s luggage up the stone steps is difficult. The air conditioning is not really adequate. If you want an air bnb, this is a fine choice. If you want a hotel look elsewhere. The ******* listing for this property should be removed and placed on Vrbo.

Lovely quirky B & B. Stayed for 2 nights - loved the decor and the building - exposed bricks and roof timbers, stone steps - clean, good location, and super comfy bed. Smooth self check in, no concerns. I probably wouldn’t want to stay there for longer than 2 nights purely because the bathroom was v v small (and door didn’t close), breakfast was ok (but not as varied as staying in a hotel), and the aircon was not really sufficient (but it was very hot the week I visited and it’s an old building). This isn’t a negative review - I loved staying there and would happily stay again, just not really suitable for a stay more than 1-2 nights I felt.

We loved this historic and quirky hotel. The room and bath were spotless and comfortable, and the bed and linens were high-quality.
We didn't like the stairs (there was no elevator), but it was only two floors. We had help with our bags at checkout.
The location is perfect in a little alleyway connecting two main streets. We would stay here again.

This hotel made the perfect finish to our trip to Tuscany. It was romantic, beautifully decorated, with so much atmosphere. The stone steps to the first floor are quite steep, but with plenty of artwork and quaint little window boxes on the way. Our room was incredible and the four poster bed was comfy (I like a hard bed!). The window overlooked a Main Street, but not noisy. The bathroom was adequate and very clean. Breakfast was great value for money, with pastries, and continental meats and cheeses, plus fruit and coffee. Gabriella was the perfect host, and I will recommend my daughters all to go to this hotel. Perfect location!

A unique, romantic hotel. I have mobility issues, but managed the stone steps up to the first floor. It was well worth the climb. It was like stepping back into medieval times, with the most stunning bed and soft furnishings. The window overlooks the street, but it was not too noisy. Bathroom was adequate and very clean.The breakfast was a full continental with cold meats, pastries, fresh coffee, etc. An absolute bargain at 5euros each. Best of all, Gabriella was an outstanding host who made us feel very welcome. Perfect location and excellent value for money.
