Borgo Amarrante in Montaione

We stayed here on our honeymoon, and it was lovely! Absolutely stunning views all round, nice pool outside, and the apartment was just what we were looking for. The town centre is walking distance and we walked in every evening for dinner, and enjoyed a nice walk home watching the fireflies. A great holiday location, and perfect for travelling to loads of different places from. Thank you!

Place in total tranquility, with splendid views and a fantastic swimming pool, very beautiful apartments and with the right privacy, in typical Tuscan style, it seems to be in a mountain hut, welcome basket much appreciated ... furry friends welcome and respected . Very kind and never intrusive owners, if you are looking for tranquility and relaxation this is the perfect place !!

This is just one of those magical places that creates memories - stunning views, a sense of calm and peace set amongst vineyards on south west facing Tuscany hills - the light is incredible with sunsets to die for. Welcome felt more like friendship than hospitality with a feeling that the hosts were genuinely glad to have us there. Accommodation exactly what we needed. But perhaps the thing that topped it all was the fact that the owners not only make their own wine, and sell it, but that it’s really rather excellent. We spent a fabulous Sunday afternoon tasting The various wines on offer hosted by Ivan and his family along with local cheeses and biscuits - a holiday highlight. We stayed 2 years ago and I’m reminded of all this because I’ve just opened our last bottle of the Ivan’s wine we brought home. It has settled beautifully and I’m sorry it’s our last. We cant recommend this experience highly enough!

Very charming place, amazing pool and the views. Apartament Toretta was cool, but next time I will book villa, since life with small kids is easier having just one floor.

Owner is extremely nice and always there to help. Wine was so delicious, that we drank one bottle every day 🍾 and took few bottles home. I will definitely remember this place and recommend to others. It has this kind of vibe that makes you feel relaxed. I hope we will be back!

Beautiful place. Very clean, welcomed with basket of the farms own produce, very taste! Friendly owner. The place is located close to all the attractions. Everything is within 1 hour drive, perfect location. Awesome for families, we have a 3yo who loved this wonderful place, play at the massive backyard with beautiful view. Will come back again when we visit Florence next time.
