Reviews
Good location, nice staff and ok rooms.
The front desk had a peculiar process: when I checked in, they asked for my credit card to register the number. The next day when I checked out, I inquired about it and was told it was to prevent guests from forgetting to pay city taxes or other fees after leaving. They also assured me that the card information would be deleted later and not to worry.
Everything felt overcrowded and poorly managed. We even struggled to heat our food, there were no facilities available for guests to warm meals, and the hotel staff refused to help in any way. It felt like they preferred to let guests stay hungry rather than offer any flexibility or care.
When we arrived exhausted, we were met by very cold, unfriendly, and unhelpful staff. There was no attempt to make us feel welcome or comfortable. Instead, they rigidly insisted on hotel policy and made it very clear that early check-in was absolutely not an option, without any empathy.
The hotel itself was old, dirty, and poorly maintained. Many items in the room were broken or worn out, to the point that it felt unhygienic and unpleasant. There were no basic amenities, not even tissues in the room (only toilet paper). If you wanted hot water for tea, you had to request it from the ground-floor bar.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable and worn. The “double bed” was made of two single beds pushed together that constantly separated. The mattresses were old, springy, and deeply sunken, which resulted in back pain during our stay.
There was no electric kettle, no cups, and no sense that guest comfort mattered at all.
Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel if you’re looking for a comfortable, relaxing, or enjoyable stay.
First night in the suite i found there is no drinking water provided (unless paid), no kettle, no coffee, weak water in bathroom and even when i asked reception for a dental kit and he replied: “This is a thing you should get with you” then he provided it, i dont have my brush since my bag was stolen in train since italy full of thieves, but anyways its not a way a respectful hotel would reply to a guest with a suite booking.
Anyways after i complained and finished my 2 nights, it was the time to shift to the standard room,
Room is terribly small, zero isolation we had full night listening to a party next to us annoying our sleep, whenever a door closes in our floor our door wibbles and scares us, and on top of all that, we got the bed cover FULL OF HAIR, and toilet papers has strange dots and we were so afraid that it might be someone injected something in it. Terrible experience
However, there are a few points that could be improved. Drinking water and cold drinks were chargeable, which was a bit disappointing. For a couple, only two towels were provided—there were no face towels. Additionally, the bed linens were not very clean, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the pillows.
On a positive note, the bathroom and bathtub were clean, but the bathtub was quite small and may not be comfortable for someone with a bulky build.
With some improvements in cleanliness and basic amenities, the experience could be much better.
