Stayed in the building out the back of the hotel. Fridge was iffy. Ac didn’t work well. Bathroom had funny smell upon further inspection black/green mold all over the back wall. No insulation so could hear everything outside. Plus stayed right next to the storage closet on the top floor that was accessed all night hard to sleep. And the two single beds pushed togther to make a ‘double’ kept seperating. No power points near bed :(:(:(:(:(:(

We stayed in room on third floor, whilst small it was what we expected for an old building, the bed was clean and comfortable, firm but not uncomfortable, pillows were great. It had a small desk, cupboard, safe and fridge, not a lot of room for luggage but again it’s a beautiful old building, don’t stay here if you want space. The bathroom was remodelled and it was great, super strong and hot shower, toilet and bidet, the only suggestion I would have is to relocate the towel rail from above the bidet, not a lot of other places to locate it but it made me nervous I was going to drop the towel into the bidet. Overall the rom was excellent and my wife and I enjoyed it. Breakfast was excellent, the bacon and eggs were good for hotel spec, the yogurt, cereals, pastries, waffles, toast and pancakes with jams and honey delicious, the serving staff did a good job under busy circumstances in a confined space, if this bothers you go stay at a soulless new hotel. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to St Marks, 2 ferry stops (St Marc and St Maria Del Giglio) lots of nice restaurants and shops, including the excellent cafe downstairs, it’s in the heart of old Venice and a great place to stay if you want to throw yourself into exploring this amazing city. Finally the staff including reception were VERY helpful and polite, they allowed us to stow our bags for a few hours and were ready to direct us to late night eating spots on our arrival at 10:30pm. They were courteous and professional at all times. This is an old, charming hotel of character in an ideal location not a Best Western (no offence BW are great too) so before you start complaining maybe research your stay in the appropriate hotel. I would like to thank the Hotel Torino for looking after us, we look forward to returning once again to you and your beautiful city. David and Melissa.

Bathroom floor soaked after showers, lift was not easy, quad room pictures were vastly larger than our room. Staff was friendly, room had great air conditioning. Beds were ok. Location of hotel is excellent! Right outside expensive shopping and gondola ride.

When my wife and I checked, we were greeted by Maximilian at the front desk. He was polite, knowledgeable & helpful.

WARNING - BED BUGS!!! I found dead and alive bed bugs in my room. There was also a lot of fecal matter indicating that the problem has been long-standing. I had to go down to the reception in the middle of the night and despite the photo evidence, the receptionist didn't want to believe me at first. They also tried to explain how bed bugs are not dangerous. "They just cause small pimples to your arms". Technically true, but are you kidding me!!! Luckily they were able to transfer me to another building around the corner. The new room was clean, modern, and had no signs of bugs. I really do appreciate that they were able to help me even in the middle of the night. I did not appreciate their mindset as they did not seem to take the problem seriously. However, in the morning I heard that they had already started some sort of investigation/cleaning operation in my old room so maybe they did take action accordingly. Please check your rooms carefully (beds + furniture) before you settle in. If possible, go to somewhere else. Good location is not worth bringing some unwanted crawlers back home with your luggage 🤢🦗

Front Desk person initially took us to the wrong room. I had paid for a four person, but only two people were able to come. He helped us with our bags, and took us to a room in an entirely different building, which only had 1 bed, which is not what I paid for on *******. Once I showed him a screenshot of the room we’re supposed to be getting, we went back to the front desk and to the right room, which was as pictured on *******. It looked very nice and has a refrigerator and water kettle in the room.

The bathroom was nice, and the shower felt great. Good pressure!

After the first night, my daughter had bites on her arm. I also had multiple bites on my leg, back and wrist. I didn’t see anything in the beds, but it’s possible there were bed bugs. I don’t think I got i bitten in these areas while outside because I wore long sleeves, long pants and socks when we were out and about.Unfortunately the staff didn’t speak English that well so I couldn’t really explain that to them while I was there.

Bad expirience, choose another hotel if you want better service. The staff is at a level of zero and the service is mediocre, I do not recommend it for a vacation, breakfasts are also monotonous and not tasty.............................

Stayed here for two nights last weekend and the hotel was in an amazing location, close to everything, easy enough to find with the help of Google maps, friendly staff, clean rooms which were small but comfy enough for the price... didn't have breakfast as not many seats and so many cafes nearby... would stay here again...

Close to everything, very well located. You can do everything on foot. Great service and incredible breakfast.
