Reviews
Although there is currently some construction happening at the hotel, we stayed over the weekend and were not affected at all. It was peaceful and quiet throughout our stay.
There was a small misunderstanding with the reservation through the website, as an amount was blocked before our arrival, but everything was handled smoothly and professionally. By the time we arrived, everything was perfectly arranged, and the check-in process was seamless.
We absolutely loved the breakfast, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. And the view… even more incredible! Waking up to such a stunning scene made our stay even more special.
We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in Venice. A true hidden gem that we would gladly return to.
The room was impeccably clean, and the housekeeping service maintained a high standard throughout our visit. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive, always ready to assist. The hotel provides outstanding value for money. We would gladly recommend it and look forward to staying here again.

We were placed in the room that was as I understood later a former staff office/room that was re-made to a guest room. It’s not in the main hotel building, it’s opposite, and there was really dark inside, there was no wooden flooring as in the photos of other rooms, there was only tiles. The room wasn't originally intended to be used as a hotel room. There wasn't even a power outlet where they put the kettle. The door in the bathroom didn’t close. The water in the shower doesn’t go away so we had to use towels every time after the shower. In addition at the first night (I didn’t check the bed once we moved in) i saw the bed leaning was dirty with some red spots and a hair on a bath. They changed bed leaning, but that was quite disappointing moment. In overall, I spotted all those things quite late and we stayed just for 2 nights so I didn’t ask for another room. But, still, had a feeling it’s not a “normal “ room like other guests had.
The rooms are absolutely stunning — beautifully renovated with thoughtful touches. We loved the marble countertops in the bathrooms, and our suite was cozy yet spacious, providing the perfect balance of comfort and elegance.
The breakfast is amazing, with a wide selection of choices that made every morning feel special. The hotel service was impeccable as well — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.
Staying at Hotel Ca’ d’Oro made our Venice trip even more memorable. We can’t recommend it highly enough and would love to return!
The room was clean, tidy and good value - the breakfast buffet was excellent!
The staff were friendly and spoke good English.
We visited in March as part of my wifes birthday present.
We had some issues with our pre payment and through the language barrier of Italian/English and Visa card they resolved our issue whilst we were out having dinner.
Breakfast is supplied, and although it is simple, it was more than adequate.
Altogether, it was excellent.
