Overall the team are friendly and helpful but there were moments during our stay that no guest should be experiencing. One morning on our return to our room after breakfast with the privacy sign on the door, I was falling back to sleep and my husband was changing to go down to the pool when the door bell went. Before I could even get to answer the door, a guest relations team member came through the door despite the privacy sign being on, and was about to show two people around our room which firstly was occupied by us and secondly had the privacy sign on which is completely unacceptable. I complained about this to the reception team who were very apologetic and arranged a bottle of wine to our room with a personal note to apologise. Unfortunately this was not the only occasion, sadly the very next day on our checkout day we experienced a similar case with the housekeeping team, who were clearly keen to turn our room around and have us out. Despite a 12:00 checkout, she asked us at 09:00 if she could start on our room, and again at 11:00 whilst letting herself in before we even had chance to even answer the door bell. She wanted to know what time we were checking out which left us feeling rushed and almost chased out of the hotel. These are experiences you should not be experiencing in any hotel and certainly not at this hotel. It is a real pity as this was a return visit and these experiences to quote the hotel team “recalibrate” how you feel about your stay and experience.

Amazing resort and location. very easy to get back and forth to Venice and it is about 5 minute shuttle away plus you get a full resort to enjoy. with kids this really helps give them a place to relax and burn off some energy in between sightseeing.

Perfect island, perfect hotel! The room has a beautiful view, with a wide view of the river and St. Mark's Square across the street. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The staff are helpful, very kind, and always smiling. I lost something twice and the staff helped me find it. Thank you very much!! The front desk staff are great, especially the front desk manager Elia (pronounced like "love you" in Chinese, very interesting) who is always attentive and thoughtful to help solve all troubles, so that guests can have a worry-free vacation. Thank you very much!! You can relax and have a romantic wedding here, which is great, seven-star service, seven-star experience👍👍
