Lobby is a bit dated but the room is renovated.
The room on the other hand wasn’t great. Terrible bed, like sleeping on concrete. Had two terrible nights sleep. Walls are paper thin too and you can hear everything happening in the halls.
Bathroom was clean and useable.
Location is not the closest to the main attractions but we used the scooter and it was great!
Reception rarely answered the phone when I needed anything, which was frustrating. The bathroom items were never replaced, and the bathrobes were clearly not washed or changed during my entire stay.
Breakfast was also a big letdown — very few options, poor variety, and not what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel.
To make things worse, the hotel is over 30 minutes walking from the city center, which makes it inconvenient for sightseeing or going out in the evening.
The hotel is outdated, poorly maintained, and lacks even basic hospitality. I absolutely do not recommend staying here.

The room itself and the bathroom are OK, very big, good air conditioning, there is a table with chairs and a TV. We were provided free parking in the yard. There is also a lift.
However, nobody from the staff could speak English or German.
We did not meet anyone who we could talk to in English although we wanted to ask for some advice. They did not even understand very simple sentences in English, neither could they respond. They translated a sentence like 'Breakfast is at 8' with Google Translate from Chinese and showed it on their mobile. When I asked them about anything, they just smiled and shrugged. This is totally unacceptable in the middle of Europe. Furthermore, breakfast is ridiculous, just one croissant per person.
