Where to stay with car in Verona

The facilities themselves were fine, and the windows even had screens for summer. There was no kettle in the single room. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and I thought it was worth the price

Excellent experience, everything was outstanding. The position is literally a 10 second walk from the Arena. The building is an old historical building and the room perfectly matched this theme

It was at a perfect spot where you can go around and browse the different stores and restaurants. Just feet away from one of the main shopping streets. Staff was absolutely delightful.

A wonderful bed & breakfast near heart of Verona The property is a beautifully renovated house, very close to the historic centre of Verona; an easy 14 to 15 minutes walk to the famous Arena, 20 to 25 minutes walk to the Duomo, with good neighbourhood restaurants only a few minutes away

The b n b is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood with a great local mix of cafes and restaurants close by and an easy walk to the old town centre or train station. highly recommended place to stay when visiting Verona

Breakfast was delicious and guests have a lovely sitting room upstairs which offered a kitchenette for our personal use. The garden was a delight and a welcome respite from a busy day of walking and exploring

It is a really charming, special place run by the very helpful owner,Francoise. Breakfast in the garden, beautifully appointed rooms, and lovely restaurants on hand

Françoise met us at the property when we arrived late and showed us a round the house. We enjoyed our breakfast in the garden every morning

François’s kindness and excellent breakfasts were a complete bonus to what is a lovely property with beautiful rooms.

The huge bathtub was spectacular as well ! Excellent location, parking available also. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when we return

Shown to our room it was absolutely beautiful Clearly a lot work had gone into the design. The whole relais was well thought out the location was absolutely superb the funicular was right next to the hotel

Not even the smallest luxury was overlooked, from towel warmer, to sauna and steam shower, blackout drapes and sheer curtains that automatically open. Two fully stocked mini fridges with a great selection

Arrived after travelling by train from Florence. Sandro was there to greet us check in seamless we went on the balcony prior to being shown to our room what struck me was the amazing view

But the view from the King size bed with luxurious bedding was the ultimate luxury. We found ourselves lounging around in bliss just enjoying a cup of coffee from the balcony

We were very sad to leave we really enjoyed our stay and thank you Sandro for helping us enjoy our stay in such a wonderful relais and location we would love to come back

Relais Fra Lorenzo is overall a very nice hotel, perfectly located and overlooking the city with beautiful views. The outdoor pool makes it especially appealing in summer, and the service throughout is warm and friendly

The main downside is breakfast, which felt underwhelming for the price point, and while the rooms have an antique charm, they could be better maintained and more refined, particularly the suites

I highly recommend the hotel which has a nice panoramico view. The breakfast is awesome. They kindly gave us away a bottle of local olive. And there is a good shuttle bus service.

Expected it to be in a great location, but never thought the place would be this elegant and posh! The owner and all the staff are so lovely and always happy to help

The hotel has an elevator, and the staff proactively helped bring our luggage to our room. It's close to the open-air amphitheater, and the hotel provides free cushions. It's convenient for visiting various attractions

The day before checkout, we arranged at reception to have a taxi called for us in the morning; we had to show up at reception 10 minutes early. In reality, they didn't call us a taxi

She also has insanely good recommendations for food! Location off the beaten track but perfect to enjoy local bars and be around the community with a short walk into the city My mark for service was marked down slightly for the spa

We opted to have the spa in that dead time from checkout to airport but whilst it was a paid extra we were denied the opportunity to chill before flying home. Such a shame esp as it was raining!

We stayed in this luxurious hotel for a few nights and it was all clean and staff was very welcoming and helpful. Location wasn't bad, about 15min walk and bus stops were nearby

Other reason to come back here were lovely and strong Spritz drinks :D We would definitely recommend this hotel. We would ONLY improve their breakfast bufet

There's a bus stop near the train station where you can buy tickets on the platform, which is very convenient, but we didn't quite understand how to use the tickets

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location was super walkable to the train Station. Amazingly, it was very quiet as well. I did not hear any train noises while sleeping at all

In the train station, if you need to go to the platform on the first floor, you will be reminded by email. There are only two floors in total. The room is quite big and the bed is soft

The hotel offers breakfast only as a meal, but there are plenty of food options available within walking distance. These range from cafe/bar options to more than acceptable restaurants

The hotel, the staff and the location were fabulous. The place is clean, excellently run and friendly. We came for the Opera festival and were made to feel most welcome

Nice Hotel with all amenities, located halfway between the main railway station and the historic centre of Verona, easily doable on foot. Good value for money considering the prices of lower standard hotels in the centre

In terms of price/quality ratio it's probably ideal. But the breakfasts are just awful, we haven't seen such meager "food" for a long time.

Ideal if you are traveling by car, the rooms were beautiful and the bed comfortable. The staff was helpful and nice. The breakfast was good and most of all free parking included.

When traveling on business in Italy, you must book a hotel with parking. This hotel has it and it's free. The room is OK, the bathroom is clean and the facilities are OK. Very cost-effective hotel.

Very helpful staff. Beautiful immediate surroundings. Reachable best by car. Reaching the hotel by bus is doable, but be prepared to walk short distances along a busy road with minimal space for pedestrians.

Good choise in Verona, its not so colse to the centre, but parking in the centre of Verona is quite simple. Hotel staff was really friendly, room was clean and nice, only view from a window nothing special

Room 59 had the spare bed which made the room slightly smaller than room 56 which didn't have the spare bed but had more space and a couch. The bathroom was slightly dated in room 59 while room 56 was very modern

If you are travelling as a young family room 56 would be a better option. The staff adjusted the menu to allow for a additional things for our family including apple juice, chicken nuggets and pancakes

Pretty nice hotel on a main road. The bus stop and wander to the hotel isn't really suitcase friendly, but the manager carried our bags to our room which helped

Great Hotel, The place is very clean. The people are extremely hospitable and very nice. They have a good breakfast. The park is very nice and provides a great place for kids and family. I strongly recommend going there.

I think it would be great for the hotel to keep these items on the menu for other families. The restaurant for breakfast was right next to the pool which was a welcome feature of the property

Each room had a small fridge which was ideally for keeping drinks and snacks cold. The restaurant served tasty food and breakfast each day had a great range of hot and cold options

The hotel has a lift, so we didn’t have to carry our luggage up to the third floor. Our room was clean, spacious, and even had a lovely balcony. However, the tiled flooring can feel quite cold on chilly days

Breakfast was decent, and just a minute away, we found an amazing restaurant—Osteria Miola. The cost of the hotel was reasonable, offering good value for the location and amenities

And management is quick to offer directions and advice what to see, when, and the shortest path to get there. Efficient, Loving, Caring not a nicer couple in the world

This is my fourth time staying at this property. The owners are incredibly sweet and extremely helpful. The location is just three minutes from Piazza Erbe and Piazza Bra

Breakfast is carried out in a pastry shop near the structure that offers you, upon presentation of a ticket, very good brioche and coffee

Clean and nice place, for the price location is really good, breakfast is more then enough.

There were disposable slippers. The room key was not a card type but an old-fashioned physical key. The key had a heavy ornament attached to it, but the front desk would keep it for you when you left.

The hotel was perfect for our first time in Verona, giving us a great base to explore and enjoy the city. Very close the Arena so would be good if visiting for a concert there

I think is rather the guesthouse than B&B. It is big flat with 4 rooms and shared kitchen and 2 shared bathrooms. Gulia was nice but her boyfriend even more and he told us very lot about city

The breakfast is self service and the choice is very simple. Supermarket is really close and main square (Piaza Bra) with arena about 5 minute walk

This family room was on the 2nd floor of another building, 7 or 8 minutes away from the Colosseum, which was convenient for watching opera
