The hot spring is very comfortable. The food is not particularly outstanding. There are some memorable dishes missing. It is very convenient to watch the fireworks festival

Best hospitality experience I've ever had in my life. Rooms were traditional style, extremely well kept. Food was amazing.

Reina personally showed me around the room, explained how everything worked, and helped me understand the traditions of staying at a ryokan, all while patiently working through a language barrier (I don’t speak any Japanese)

She also greeted us in the morning in Mandarin, which is what we were speaking to each other. I could tell that she spent time overnight looking up words in English to help explain breakfast more smoothly

The sidewalk between the station and hotel is both bumpy and narrow, making it difficult to maneuver the suitcase while also avoiding other pedestrians. The walk back to the station is especially bad since it's uphill

A short while later, she returned with an entirely new meal featuring wagyu steak instead of seafood. I was honestly blown away by her kindness and how far she went to make sure I was happy

Very comfort and big room with nice sea view. Onsen was good all the time. Location abit far and hilly from town. That will be good if you are driving. They also provide free shuttle bus go train station

Last time, we drank two bottles, but this time we could only manage one. Why are cheese and charcoal-grilled chicken served at breakfast instead of dinner? They'd sell more wine if they served them at dinner

Everything, from check-in to check-out, paying the bathing tax, and reserving the shuttle service, was done online, and I personally would have liked a little more interaction with the front desk and staff (I understand they're understaffed, but I booked because I wanted something different from a business hotel)

Having to constantly get up to get up ruined the atmosphere, and the menu lacked anything that would encourage drinking. It felt like they just wanted us to finish our meal quickly and go back to our rooms

The check-in system, while seemingly convenient, is actually quite inconvenient. I wish they had provided some advance notice to help with preparation. I won't be going back, but I hope they improve

We stayed for one night and it was fantastic. We also ordered dinner in the ryokan and it was a huge banquet of food that was amazing. Oiishi! We will stay here again should we find ourselves in Atami.

The staff was warm and friendly, and most if not all spoke English. The onsen was hot and relaxing, the rooftop has great views of the harbor which we also had from our private outdoor bath

The only negative comment is that the facilities showed a bit of wear and tear, but it did not affect our stay. For what we paid we all agreed it was a terrific value

Great hotel. Large tatami style apartment with separate bedrooms, bathroom and outside veranda with outside personal onsen bath. Great view of ocean and mountains.

Spent the night with a family of five (two children and a grandparent). We stayed in a spacious corner suite on the fourth floor, I believe it was room 57

There were also more onsen on the ground floor. We tried them all, and they are open late so you are not rushed. The food was excellent, really superb

A little vintage, and lacking a few amenities perhaps but the onsen is great, the staff friendly and its a minute walk to the beach

Corona season made it feel like a ghost hotel, but we had the onsen to ourselves so that was nice

You just have to calculate the bus time, otherwise you have to walk two kilometers from Yugawara Station to the hotel. Attached are pictures of the hotel restaurant and the Yugawara fireworks show

The room was large and I thought I could get a good room with a view overlooking the city of Atami. The lobby and corridors are like an inn, and the hot spring baths are large and very satisfying

All the hotels were fully booked during the first half of the Obon holiday, but I was able to make a reservation at the last minute

Other accommodations were quite expensive during the Obon holiday, but this one was reasonably priced. I was also able to soak in the natural hot springs. There is a supermarket within walking distance

Away inside a golf course is this classy accommodation with tasteful structure and furnishings. You will not regret a night in the middle of nowhere with kind staff and quality service

There are no bathing facilities in the room, it is a bit troublesome to go to the hot spring bath; the indoor hot spring is very small, it is recommended to go directly to the outdoor one; the breakfast buffet options are many, dinner is very rich

The main building is a little old, but it is only for overnight guests, so it is more relaxing. The only hot spring with free-flowing water is the rock bath in the new building
