Nikko Tokino Yuu in Nikko

The staff provided excellent service. My only disappointment was not being aware beforehand that parking wasn't available until 3 PM. This made it challenging to meet up with my international guests. Had I known this in advance, we could have made much smoother arrangements, so I hope this information is clearly communicated for future guests.

Absolutely delighted with our stay!
We stayed for two nights on a room-only basis. Our main purpose was to visit Nikko Toshogu Shrine, so we specifically chose this accommodation for its convenient walking distance.
While it's a bit of a walk from the station, there are plenty of dining options along the way, so finding food was never an issue. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary bread and coffee available for breakfast – a lovely, thoughtful touch that truly showed their hospitality.
The room itself was very spacious, allowing our group to gather and enjoy meals and drinks comfortably without feeling cramped.
They also have a public bath. Though not massive, we loved being able to check its occupancy level on our phones, which ensured we could enjoy a truly relaxing and unhurried soak. This was extremely satisfying!
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more pleasant.

The public bath is SO NICE. The traditional accommodation is also a nice departure from the typical hotel stay, highly recommend

An authentic ryokan experience. Charming. The only drawback was always having to leave the key at the front desk.

The best option for budget try of Japanese rekan. Good location, good service, simple onsen included.

It was a great experience staying in a traditional ryokan, visit an onsen (public bath) and use a yukata (Japanese robe). Lovely staff, great location and spacious and clean room. A futon mattress would have made the experience even better, but the down duvet was wonderful.

Overall good stay.
The service staff was good, except on the day of checkout when they were very insistent that we checked out before the 10 am checkout time, even though I kept explaining that I had my children and wife still in the room while I returned my rental car. They almost made me late returning my car by having me explain my whole itinerary to them that morning.

The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, which made our stay very pleasant. My foreign family absolutely loved the traditional Japanese-style room. The location was also excellent, as we could easily walk to several tourist attractions. Thank you very much!

Great hotel, friendly reception and considerate service! The hot springs are great! The main location is very good, right in front of the Shinbashi Bridge and the entrance to Toshogu Shrine! Taking the bus is also very convenient! 👍👍👍
