It was truly a wonderful inn!!
The food was delicious and the portions were more than worth the price!
The service was also great and friendly!!
I left something behind, and although it's a hassle as the island is reached by ferry, they put my item on the next ferry and I'm so grateful!!
They also introduced me to nearby shops, making it a really great inn!!
I definitely recommend this inn to everyone!

The photos on the website are too beautiful. In reality, it's quite worn out. In particular, the roof of the large bath is advertised as feeling like you're soaking in a hot spring outdoors, but it was cloudy and you couldn't see the sky clearly. It's just an indoor large bath.
The room I was shown to had a strong wind, so the windows creaked loudly and I couldn't sleep well.
The good things about the hotel were the delicious food, the beautiful proprietress, and the friendliness of all the staff.
Thank you very much.

This was my first time visiting Tōshijima with my mom. We took a ferry here after visiting Ise Island.

The room was absolutely stunning! Although it's a somewhat historic inn,

the tatami mats and the space were incredibly new, clean, and spacious. It was my first time staying at a traditional Japanese onsen (hot spring) inn with such a nostalgic Japanese atmosphere.

The large public bath overlooks the sea at sunset; the entire sky was bathed in orange hues – absolutely beautiful!!

The room also offered views of the sunset, sky, and sea.

We opted for a one-night stay with two meals included. Dinner was a super sumptuous local seafood feast (lobster, abalone, tuna, etc.). Breakfast and dinner were served in private rooms downstairs, separate from other guests, allowing for a very relaxing experience. The meal was already set out when we entered, and the Japanese-style beds were already prepared for us when we returned to the room.

Choosing this place was definitely worthwhile! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. My mom and I created some truly special and wonderful memories. I highly recommend this inn if you're planning a trip to Tōshijima! 🙌🏻 My mom and I

We visited on a family trip!
We took a boat to Toshijima, and the kids had a blast on the way there!
After arriving on the island, someone from the inn came to pick us up at the port. It was within walking distance, but they were very helpful since we had a lot of luggage.
For dinner, there was a lot of seafood!
I can't actually eat raw fish, but this was so delicious I devoured it all in one go! Maybe it was because it was so fresh?
After dinner, I left the kids with my husband and went to the bath by myself. The large public bath offers a panoramic view of the ocean. I was able to relax and enjoy the beautiful view while soaking in the bath.
Overall, we were very satisfied! I'd love to visit again in a different season.^^

I have been to Toshijima Island several times and stayed at other inns, but the hospitality here was second to none. The hostess was a beautiful woman with a good reputation, and even saw me off to the pier on my way back. The portions were so large that I couldn't finish it, and although I was a little surprised to find mandarin oranges in the mozuku seaweed, it had a nice acidity and was delicious. The inn overall had an old feel to it, but it was well-cleaned and I had a pleasant stay ^_^

I stayed at this inn on October 31st as part of a CT tour of Ise Shrine. The inn's website had a lovely appearance, so I had high hopes, but when I got there, I was left wondering, "When was that photo taken?" It was an old Showa-era inn. The room was small and moldy. The futon smelled moldy, even the pillows, so moldy it was enough to make my lungs moldy, even my young children's immune systems would get sick. The food was cold and dry. The only good thing about it was the view from the observation bath on the sixth floor. However, the bath was warm enough that my glasses didn't fog up. Other reviews seem to be positive, so perhaps there's a disparity in hospitality between tour guests and individual guests. I've traveled domestically several times, but I probably won't stay here on a personal trip, and I certainly won't join a tour that uses this inn.
