Morizuya in Toyooka

The service was incredibly lovely—friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. They took such great care of us and were always ready to help with everything.
The location is perfect, making it so easy to walk to each hot spring and nearby restaurants.
The room itself was charming and cozy. I honestly wished I could pause time and never have to leave.
Another highlight was the private onsen, which was absolutely wonderful—especially for those who are new to onsen bathing or prefer a more private and comfortable experience.
The only regret this trip was that my boyfriend didn’t book the hotel dinner, so we missed the chance to try it.
It’s really hard to put the feeling into words—you simply have to experience it yourself. Once you do, you’ll definitely fall in love.

Fantastic stay in the center of Kinosaki Onsen! It's very conveniently located between all of the onsens and only a short walk from the train station. The food served was incredible, rooms were very clean, and had a traditional Japanese feel. To top it all off, an Onsen pass was included. The owner is incredibly friendly and your enjoyment is their top priority. Highly recommend for an overnight stay in Kinosaki Onsen!

We had a wonderful stay at this family-owned ryokan. The owner and staff were so kind, and we loved the chance to try the kotatsu and onsen. A full vegan menu was provided for us for dinner and breakfast, which was beautifully presented, filling and delicious. We booked through Visit Kinosaki tourism site to arrange this vegan option and were so glad to be catered for. This is the first time in four trips to Japan that I have been able to enjoy a ryokan meal thanks to Morizuya, and it was very reasonably priced too. Thank you very much!

Morizuya was more than just sleeping accommodations, it was an entire experience. From the moment we entered they welcomed us and immersed us in their culture. To our surprise, included in our stay was a kimono rental, and tea ceremony upon arrival, which we loved. The hotel staff and main host were excellent and had such attention to detail. The public baths were conveniently available for private use in the evenings, and the outdoor one was especially lovely. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, with a nice view of the foliage outside. I would stay at Morizuya again in a heartbeat. 10/10 experience, I will be trying to convince everyone I know to come here.

I stayed at Morizuya with my young family. The proprietor, Hachi, greeted us at the door as we arrived and ensured that we had photos. He was kind and engaging, and all of the staff at Morizuya ensured that our stay at the Ryokan was nothing short of spectacular.

The Ryokan is perfectly situated in the centre of Kinosaki, with one of the public onsen nearby, and the others a short walk away.

To speak of Morizuya and not mention the food would be a disservice to the establishment. The daily breakfasts were easily the best I had in Japan. A cot was provided in the dining hall to ensure that my infant had a space to sit and play, and age-appropriate childrens' meals were also provided. We also had the snow crab Kaiseki dinner, which, if you are a lover of crab meat, I highly recommend.

The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable, with all modern conveniences blended in with the traditional furnishings. We had freshly laundered yukata to wear daily, including ones for small children. There are also an abundance of geta shoes to choose from, again with children's sizes catered to!

There are two private onsen within the ryokan, both of which we made use of, and baskets + towels to use in the public onsen too.

To top it off, Hachi was insistent that he bring our luggage to us at the station shortly before our train was to arrive for the next leg of our journey.

I typically like to try different places when I travel, even when returning to the same location for a different experience. In the case of Kinosaki, I would make an exception, as I fully intend to return to Morizuya Inn on my next visit to Kinosaki. Thank you, Hachi, and all the staff at Morizuya for making our stay in Kinosaki an unforgettable experience.

The service is very good. This is my second time staying here. Everyone in the hotel welcomed me very well, especially Mr. Hashi, the owner of the hotel. He took care of us in everything. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious. They provided us with beautiful clothes to choose from. I was impressed and will definitely go again.

Overall the residence was very good👌🏻, the staff was very friendly, knew I was traveling alone, helped me take a lot of pictures, and I wore a beautiful yukata, the food was very good

This place is not difficult to locate in Kinosaki Onsen. It only takes about 10 to 15 min. Dinner and breakfast were good too.

The hotel is a bit old but it is warm and cozy. The service is good. People is helpful and kind. A young gentleman, I think he is the owner, helps us take many pictures.
There is an onsen just next to the hotel. It is very convenient. Of course, you can go to the others within few minutes walk. The food is Okay, traditional hotel style.
