First time staying in Toyoko Inn. It’s a cozy hotel that feels like home. The location isn’t ideal for sightseeing in Hiroshima. It's near the station, but going back and forth gets tiring and the streetcars are very slow. For business stays though, it’s great. There’s a large 24/7 Lawson next door with food and anything you might need.

Standard Toyoko Inn standard, hotel is not new but not too old.

We stayed at Toyoko Inn Hiroshima Station Shinkansenguchi 2 for six nights. Unfortunately, due to an error by our agent, we were assigned a smoking room. Despite the hotel having over 270+ rooms and us clearly explaining our sensitivity to smoke, the staff were unable to move us to a non-smoking room unless we changed rooms four separate times during our stay — which was disappointing and impractical...

It was very clean and comfortable. The elevator also requires a key card to operate, so the security was excellent.

The hotel is very clean and smells great. It's located very close to the Atomic Bomb Dome and the bus station for the airport shuttle. Hiroshima is a small city, so the location is excellent. There’s a Lawson right next door. I didn't try the breakfast.

A great stay, full of memorable moments. The hotel is very well located, close to the main points of interest. There is also a convenience store right next door, as well as a very good restaurant open 24/7 and really affordable (under 1,000 yen). The room was also very nice, clean, and comfortable, and the welcome was friendly. Highly recommended!

The location is great for visiting Heiwa Kōen (Peace Park) and for sightseeing around the city, and the price is also very reasonable. I noticed that many of the guests were from overseas. While there's a public bath, it was smaller than I expected. Also, it would be nice if the welcome drink service started a bit earlier.

Toyoko Inns are a safe place to stay. Also, no matter where you go, breakfast always has something local, so I was looking forward to it, but there was a huge line from the morning so I ended up giving up. It's a shame because I woke up early in anticipation. The location is great!

The room was a bit small, but since Japanese rooms are usually small, it wasn't a problem and wasn't bad. The breakfast, while not particularly varied, was surprisingly well-prepared. The location was also good, with plenty of restaurants. However, there are many bars and entertainment venues in the alleys, so I wouldn't recommend bringing children.

I was up through the night coughing. The front desk crew spoke little to no English, so the details of the room change may have been lost in translation.

This was my second stay at The Next Hotel. They have two locations in Hiroshima, and I've stayed at both. I definitely prefer this one over the one closer to the city center. This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and I had a great experience! The facilities and cleanliness were top-notch. I especially liked the door between the room and the hallway; it made it much quieter and kept the air conditioning cooler. They have hot springs, ice cream, and even late-night snacks! Hiroshima was a pleasant surprise! The city is quite large and beautiful. The hotel offers a shuttle van in the mornings that can take you to the JR station; just book it in advance at the front desk. The top floor has an onsen (hot spring bath), and after your soak, there's free ice cream. From 5 AM to 10 AM, they offer complimentary Yakult, and from 9:30 PM to 11 PM, there's free ramen and drinks...

The hotel is located on Heiwa Boulevard, a 10-minute drive from Hiroshima Station, and offers a free shuttle bus service to the Shinkansen station in the morning. Public transport is also convenient, with a 7-Eleven convenience store diagonally opposite. The rooms are small but cozy. Like all Dormy Inn hotels, there's no bathtub in the room, but you can enjoy the public hot springs on the rooftop....

This property far exceeded my expections. I give much credit to the exceptional service provided by the Front desk team and housekeeping. They have been well trained and follow-up, as and when required. It is one of those few properties which I have experienced, as a global traveller, where it was difficult to leave. As foreign guests are also using the hotel, I would recommend basic English classes...

Not sure what folk are going spending for £20/night, which I paid last minute for a twin room. Comfortable bed, private bathroom, amenities and wardrobe provided. Deserves a much higher rating. Just remember to ground yourself before clicking buttons in lift/do it through clothing to avoid an electric shock (lol).

The room was a good size and the staff at the hotel were great, the only problem was the bathroom. It’s badly constructed, almost coming apart, and very small. Given the price per night, I’d have expected better quality.

The rooms are a bit worn. It was probably an old building, but it was renovated, and it feels like a long time ago. The air conditioning in the rooms is inconvenient; there are only three settings, and you don't know what the temperature is. The rooms are just a little bigger than other Japanese hotel rooms we have been so far. But it definitely makes a difference when travelling with a bicycle (and therefore have too much luggage). Awesome hotel with gender seprated hot baths and sauna. Great location, walking distance anywhere and convinence store nearby. Rooms are small and not in great shape but are being cleaned and made up daily. It was just fine for me as a solo traveller. Locals love this one and you likely will too.

Firstly the hotel did not give us a room on the floor indicated. Supposed to be 8-16 we were given 7, when we asked about it the counter person just kept saying sorry, full. After much deliberation he gave us 18 floor but it was a smoking room. I had to lodge a complaint to TRIP before he finally gave us an 11th floor non smoking. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Hiroshima's busiest pedestrian street, making shopping and dining very convenient. Although the breakfast restaurant isn't particularly spacious, the variety of dishes is excellent and they taste delicious. This hotel offers great value for money.

I could clearly hear the neighbor coughing in their room 😭, which made it hard to sleep. The main issue was the noise isolation (or lack thereof).

Your typical hotel for the price range. Stayed for two nights for a trip. Room was average size for this type of hotel and clean. Had no problems with noise or wi-fi. I liked the retro style. Breakfast buffet was generous and staff was polite. There are a bus stop and a tram stop nearby.

One of my favourite hotels this trip. It's older and has a 1950's Europe vibe, but they've leaned into that and maintained old style fixtures, so its very cute. The hotel is very close to the railway station with a convenience store just round the street corner. The staff are friendly and the room is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good with a wide selection of Japanese and Western food. I will stay in this hotel again next time when I go to Hiroshima.

The breakfast was very good and the room was spacious and very clean.

The bathroom is nice, with a good separation between wet and dry areas. However, there is no bed cover, only a sheet between the quilt and the bed sheet, which is very uncomfortable.

This sauna is off-limits to women. There are two sleeping areas, and the price remains the same whether it's peak or off-peak season. The sauna has an auto-loyly function, so you can feel refreshed.

If you're here just for the sauna, you'll be very satisfied. The capsules are simple but clean. The large public bath and sauna really helped me relax. Recommended for solo travelers looking for value for money.

Good point: The bath is open 24 hours a day. The front staff is very responsive. Bad points: Air conditioning is noisy.

The location is really good for tourists because this hotel is located in the center of the downtown. You can arrive there soon after getting of the city train. And the charge is much cheaper than normal hotel(=which has beds). Actually it was the first time for me to stay in Kapsel ?hotel. The experience to write some reports in the kapsel became unforgettable. Note: the hotel is for only guys.

We’ve stayed in a few Toyoko Inns now and they are easily my favourite chain to stay in in Japan. They are super clean rooms for an affordable price and they provide you with pyjamas which is a lovely touch. We paid for the parking which was very reasonably priced aswell. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This was my first time staying here. Smoking was allowed in the room, but I informed them in advance that I didn't smoke, and they properly deodorized the room. The location is close to Hiroshima Station, and there are many restaurants, so it's not a problem. There are two elevators, so I didn't have to wait long for the elevators to get in. Amazing location and service! The level of cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable. I've read reviews of guests complaining about the old style forniture, but we personally loved it. I stayed to WeBase Hiroshima for two nights and I couldn't ask for a better hostel to stay at! the beds and bathrooms are very clean and the staff is super nice, the potion is perfect for seeing all of Hiroshima without need to take any bus or else, I'd choose it again if I ever find myself in Hiroshima again.

We stayed in Hiroshima for only one night. The hotel has an excellent location, as it is very close to the station. So we arrived, left our bags, and went to visit the city. We left early, so we didn't have breakfast. The rooms are good and comfortable.

The hotel room was good the only concern i have is this japanese girl staff at the front desk i think she's pregnant. I don't know if she is tired or what but i think she doesn't want her job not accommodating and her face frowns a lot. I think she must look for another job she is not fit to do the front desk. 🤔 on the other hand the male staff was very nice 👍

The service and room was excellent. The hotel staffed helped me with the bus timetable to Tadanoumi and also helped me reserve a seat to Hiroshima on their shuttle bus. This hotel was recommended by a friend who stayed here about 8 months ago and I’m glad I took their advice as the hotel and staff were excellent! 5 stars!
