The staff were all excellent. Due to heavy snow on the roads, dragging luggage 800 meters from the JR station was a real struggle. The front desk was so helpful; they booked a taxi for us early in the morning and even packed breakfast for us to take on the go. It felt incredibly warm and thoughtful. The cleanliness was quite good, though the facilities are a bit old, and the value for money isn't quite as good as some other hotels.

Breakfast was bento style and delicious.
The building is old, but the room was clean.
Amenities were minimal and there was no lotion or other amenities.
It is close to Abashiri Station and the roadside station, so it is easy to get to by train or bus.
There is a 7-Eleven near the hotel.

There is a 7-11 convenience store not far away when you walk to the left from the hotel. Across the bridge from the 7-11 is the largest local supermarket. The things there are very cheap, and there are discounts on fresh food after 5 o'clock. A 5-minute walk to the right of the hotel is the bus hub, which goes to various attractions and long-distance buses. A little further ahead is the restaurant street.

A bit old hotel, restaurant not available to make the inconvenience to visitor. But staff is nice and helpful.

The room is large enough to accommodate two suitcases. One bed had soft pillows and the other had seed hard pillows.
The room is very close to Asahikawa Bus Terminal. But when we went there, we got off the wrong train at the previous station, Asahikawa Train Station, so we had to walk in the snow for more than ten minutes dragging our heavy luggage. It was very tiring.
There is a larger 711 near the hotel. A 10-minute walk will take you to the shopping street, where you can find yakiniku and ramen shops, warehouse-style supermarkets, second-hand shops, electronic digital stores, and capsule toy shops.
You can contact the front desk to make an appointment for a taxi. Although taxis are expensive in Japan, if you don't know about public transportation, it is still very convenient to take a taxi to go ice fishing or icebreaking.

The room size is really quite large for a Japanese hotel. In addition to the two beds, there is even room for a large lounge chair;
The decoration of the entire hotel is really good. There is a quite spacious front lobby. There is a convenient elevator next to the hotel entrance. You don't have to detour to the front desk and then go upstairs. You can save a lot of time when going out, which is very convenient;
It can be seen that it is a very good hotel, but the facilities are obviously old (it has been a long time since I have stayed in a hotel that requires keys to open the door...). The room is very clean, but the disadvantage is that the lights are a bit dim, and all the lights are turned off. I barely felt better until I opened it; there was no place to charge a mobile phone at the bedside; in addition, the metal loop on which the room key was hung was a bit cracked, and the forked metal filaments might prick your hands;
Opposite the hotel is the Dormy Inn hot spring hotel. You can just see their signboard from the window. You can also see that this hotel is working hard to make up for the lack of hot springs...

I chose to order breakfast when making a reservation. After checking in, I got up in the morning and went to the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Surprisingly, each person was only provided with a takeaway breakfast box, which could only be taken back to the room to eat. My request to eat in the closed restaurant next to the lobby was also rejected. This is an incomprehensible service.

After getting off the bus, it's just a few steps away. The service is very considerate, the recommended restaurant is delicious, the room is indeed very old, but it is very big, and breakfast is really not recommended.
