You will surprise that in dinner time they provide free alcohol drink including osake . They also have coffee machine
They have onsen small one as well. The price is incredible cheap compared to place surrounding.
Cute stay and was very functional. Had everything i needed for one night.
I'd say it's 99% perfect. First of all, it's extremely well located. Secondly, there's a bar with all kinds of free drinks, as well as towels, toothbrushes, etc., and a snack bar with noodles and small snacks (more than enough for a meal). The cabin is fine, not too small. So, really perfect!
The self-service drink area had a great variety, they even offered three different types of alcohol!
It was a very satisfying experience, with a large public bath, sauna, free drink bar, one free mask, and noodles for dinner. I didn't get breakfast, but I got it for free as part of a promotion. It was buffet style and I think the selection was more extensive than other capsule hotels.
I stayed in a capsule room. The capsule itself is old, but considering the location and price, it's understandable. Breakfast was included for a limited time, which was helpful. But if you have to pay for it...

I drop in for a day trip. It's always fully booked, whether it's New Year's or Obon, so it's one of my favorites, but this year I finally encountered two other people. Maybe it was because it was near evening. It's a simple structure with one bathtub, and there are more impressive facilities nearby, but the bathing hours are long, it's inexpensive, and the spring quality is good, so I think I'll drop...

Very helpful staff who made restaurant and taxi reservations on our behalf. Very comfortable room well laid out for its size.
We stayed for one night; it was clean, though the room was a bit cold and had a slight odor. We turned on the air conditioning, and everything normalized. In the evening, you can enjoy complimentary drinks. Overall, we liked the hotel and would recommend it. The room was spacious, 21 sq.m., compared to others.
Very near attractions and warehouses.
Location is good for every spot of hakodate hightlight's place, 5-10 minute walk to every spot. Room is clean and bed is big. I like washing machine that for free and reasonable room price.
The lobby is very stylish, the service is excellent, the room is very large, and I have a very good impression of Hakodate.
It's quite close to nearby attractions, but far from the JR line. The room is too dark. It is recommended to add more lights. The overall layout of the room is quite depressing. There is a guy who can speak Chinese at the front desk.

First impression, authentic and clean hotel. No mass tourism, get personal attention, stay 1 to 2 nights here, you will get recharge of your mind and body. Good delicious and enough food, you won’t get hungry. Hot spring(Onsen) is great.
Not a lot of things can do in the neighborhood. You can go to the botanic garden and see the monkeys who are enjoying in the onsen.😊
This hotel is absolutely worth...
everything in there was so great
This was our first time staying in a ryokan and it was beyond our expectations by a large margin. The service was incredible, and the attentiveness and kindness of the staff was greatly appreciated. The breakfast in the room was a treat in and of itself!
The location is about 45 or so mins by tram from the city centre or 12 mins by taxi. It is in the onsen part of the city with two foot bath onsens...
This was an unforgettable experience! I stayed here for 2 nights and felt like I received an authentic Japanese ryokan experience, the breakfast was exceptional, the onsen was delightful & the staff were polite and helpful
People are very lovely and the hospitality is top notch. Onsen is old fashioned style and reminds me of period tv drama
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. As we drove, the free parking was very convenient for us.

Staff is very polite and patient for check-in service, Room is clean , but the pillow is uncomfortable while sleeping while night. Location of hotel is nearby fish market and a famous hamburger restaurant just located below hotel. Very convenient while having dinner. Also traffic is convenient , JR and streetcar station is nearby hotel, within 400m
Manager was So kind and well-communicated with clients. Clean and good.
The room is clean, the service attitude is good, the location is convenient, but the facilities are a bit old.
It’s hard to describe this hotel in just one word. Apart from its location, it doesn’t deserve to be called a ‘hotel’!
We were taken aback by the small size of the room.
We liked it because it was near the station, and the family room had space for our family of five.

Stayed here last week during heavy snowfall, and choosing this ryokan turned out to be the perfect decision.

On the last day of my trip, I wanted to experience one of the top 100 hot spring hotels. Upon entering, staff knelt to greet me, and I was offered homemade matcha and cookies. The hotel had a rustic charm. Entering the room, I was immediately struck by its cleanliness and spaciousness. In the morning, I could see the sea and seagulls; sitting and sipping tea while daydreaming was incredibly relaxing
The hotel staff were polite and friendly, providing excellent service. There was a 45-minute private hot spring bath; the public bath was a bit small. The private hot spring area was very nice and clean. The room faced the sea and had a sea view.
A rare find at this ocean-view hot spring hotel! Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the sea, daydreaming, or chatting is simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we had a dedicated butler who escorted us to the large lounge for check-in. While their English wasn't fluent, they could communicate in Japanese and Chinese using a translation app, and were very responsible in repeatedly confirming...
Sea view room, no choice, just enjoy it when you get in, and you can even feed the seagulls hahahahaha (secretly)

The lovely old gentleman serving as at night was one of the best front desk staff I’ve ever met.
We originally planned to arrive at the property in the afternoon. However, our flight was cancelled and we had to seek alternative, delaying our arrival time until 23:00. It's about a 20-minute bus ride from the airport.
If you're traveling with more than two people and have luggage, take a taxi.
The Aeon Mall Tropical Botanical Garden is nearby.
I had a great stay at a reasonable price (90,000 won).
Breakfast was good, and the soft serve ice cream, wine, and coffee were all-you-can-eat!
The hot springs were also decent.
I would definitely visit again. Thank you.
It was absolutely wonderful!
The location was great and parking was easy to find.
The front desk was very friendly and the welcome drinks were amazing! I ended up having the soft-serve ice cream several times.
The rooms were clean. Freshly ground coffee is a great thing for coffee lovers.
Dinner was a 10-piece nigiri sushi course, which was delicious.
I was also very satisfied with the variety...

Rooms are big, hot springs not bad
I think the quality of the breakfast is worth reviewing.
This review is for the relaxation spa inside the hotel. 5 stars, I wish I could give 10!
I just had the best massage of my life with Takemoto. She is incredibly skilled, intuitive, and listens to the body. I feel like I’m walking on a cloud after having a massage with her. The whole environment was also so relaxing inside. I was able to select my essential oil blend and finished with tea afterwards...
They responded to my sudden request and left a good impression. I would like to use this hotel again.
I arrived at the hotel to check in at 8pm. The front desk customer service was unable to answer my questions clearly. The room was large, but the bed was relatively thin. Men over 6 feet tall could not stretch out. In the end, the sofa was used as a bed. The breakfast buffet in the morning was a surprise, but the dining time was only one hour, which was quite rushed. Amazing service, super clean facility. Get the room with outside bath facing the sea.
I'd call this unbeatable. First off, the front desk service was truly above and beyond my expectations. It was snowing heavily, and the bellhop was still waiting outside for guests to arrive, helping with luggage. The outdoor private onsen in the room was also exceptional; the view and atmosphere were incredible. The breakfast, with its unbeatable ocean view, topped it all off. I had a wonderful day...
The staff doesn't try to hide the unequal service offered to foreign guests compared to that of the locals. No staff member offered to help us with our luggage. The rooms have poor sound isolation and you can hear your neighbours and the room above very clearly, particularly foot steps, which make sleeping difficult.
Awesome service
Location have to take taxi for 2000 yen from jr station.
Room is awesome
Breakfast is awesome though it end early at 9:30
Amneties are good especially the self serve snacks
Nice service and buffet from the hotel. Nice room with the sea view and nice onsen next to the sea. Only one bad thing is onsen facility is closed during the morning. Was disappointed because as an onsen hotel but they don’t provide the onsen during morning.
About 10-15mins driving distance from the city center. Parking is located next to it (around 2mins walking distance) where u have to walk through an alley to hotel main door. Perhaps they can install a street light in the alley way or a back door near to parking lots coz it is quite dark and scary to walk alone.
Breakfast is lack of variety but acceptable.
Other than these, overall is satisfied.

I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, but the bath was so hot I had to dilute it with water before using it. There was no shower area, so I had to use the shower in the room, which was inconvenient.

By the time we reached the hotel was really late, staff was really nice and helped us move the luggage to our room. Checkout the next day was super easy with luggage storage facility. Overall a pleasant stay.
The location is very good, close to the church and convenient.
The bathroom facilities are old, the shower angle cannot be adjusted, the water flow cannot be controlled, and the cold and hot water must be adjusted to the appropriate temperature every time the faucet is turned on and off, which is very inconvenient.

Excellent view of the ocean from the room and dining hall. Food was delicious and was satisfied with service.
The room was spotless and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.
Stunning sea views, delightful private hot springs, attentive service, and an abundant array of delicious food. An excellent experience overall.
The hotel has a not to be missed ocean view, but the food variety turns out to be the disappointment. Not so much of choice when comparing it with other ryukan. Another places for your attention is that the toilet and the room has a very strong and unpleasant urine smell. Though I cannot find any uncleaned spots in the toilet, the odor is simply untolerable.
The onsen at the balcony has human hair...
i couldn’t believe this is real, own private open-air bath, ocean view. such a comfortable place for catching the moment.
thank you, everything was AMAZING
This was the best hotel experience during my Hokkaido trip. I stayed for two nights and it was definitely worth it. The hotel is right by the sea, with ocean views from the room. The private hot spring bath was fantastic, and the breakfast and dinner were much better than at Noboribetsu Ryotei.

Conveniently located a short walk away from the hakodate train station, reception was warm and welcoming, the room is spacious, clean and comfortable, overall a great place to stay for a short trip in hakodate
Quite easy to find, just straight ahead after arriving in Hakodate station (this is NOT where the Shinkansen stops). Front desk is friendly but the English is not very good. Tattoos are not allowed in the hot tub. Breakfast set is cheap, but not that great. Room is quiet but only 1sachet for green tea. Better go to convenience store nearby.

luggage storage mentioned on listing but only allowed 12 noon. with at least 10 mins walk to station and storage lockers, i believe it should be revised on stated on booking
The owner is very nice and only speaks Japanese. There is a coin-operated washing machine. The room is very clean and square. The traditional Japanese-style room is much larger than the one in other cities. However, it is a walking distance from JR and it is the opposite distance from Mt. Hakodate. It is a bit far to the scenic spot. Overall, I am very satisfied.
The room is small but very cosy and tidy. The receptionist is super attentious and nice. Within walking distance from main train and bus stations. Good option for the price.
An old little hotel within walking distance from Hakodate station. There are limited english information, even the hotel name is in Japanese. Not so friendly for those with big suitcases because there are stairs to reach the receptionist. There’s a small elevator inside, but again you need to go up a few steps of stairs. It's an entirely adequate room to come back to rest in for the night. The air conditioning is a bit lacking, but the weather is usually cool enough to compensate for that. The location is good too. Beautiful views, old retro feel… which we liked but it is very odd feeling. Rooms were fine, very retro.
Hokkaido is a very unique city, and this is a very cost-effective hotel. Outside the window is the Sea of Japan, and you can see many seagulls. The house is not too small, has all the facilities, and is very comfortable for one person to live in.
Take National Highway 278 directly opposite Hakodate Station and walk for about 20 minutes. You can take the bus. The appearance of the hotel is very conspicuous, but the facilities in the rooms are a bit outdated. It is only close to the seaside, not a bathing beach, and there are few people. However, after dark, you can't see anything and can only hear the sound of the waves. There is a convenience...
The hotel is not in the city center, but it is very easy to get to the hotel by bus. The room is relatively small and the windows and doors cannot be opened. Initially I wanted to go for a trip by car but I was too late to get both the air ticket and the rental car reservation as I wanted. So I went for a city trip to Hakodate on foot and by public transport. This is very well possible by the famous tramway and buses too.
I stayed at this hotel with a Japanese-style room because my child had a bad sleep.
It was spacious, but the passage to the bath and toilet was narrow. But there is no problem.
There are hot springs, restaurants, and food stores nearby, so it's convenient (by car).

Was here for the day use onsen.
Great quality of water for experienced Japan traditional onsen explorers. It’s an old hotel so facility is a bit outdated. One big tub max 6 people at once. Small changing area.
Onsen plus towels rental were ¥550+¥100.
Overall my room was clean. In terms of presentation, it is more on the old, worn-out side like it could use a new coat of paint & wallpaper. The hallways, my room, & bedding had a particular smell. I asked for a room with no/minimal cigarette smell, which I think they did, so I think the smell is just from how old the building is. It's not a bad smell, just off-putting like I wonder how often they...
It was a wonderful hot spring. I stayed for two nights but wish I could have stayed a little longer.
The hotel facilities are too old and there is no elevator. You have to change into slippers when you enter the gate. It feels like you have entered a bathhouse. The room looks like a domestic hotel in the 1990s.
It is a little far from Hakodate city, but very close to the airport. The facilities may be a little lacking compared to the surrounding ryokans, but the breakfast and dinner more than make up for it. The staff are friendly, and there is a female staff member who speaks Korean well, so there is no inconvenience at all.
The hotel has a natural hot spring and the food is pretty good, but the room facilities are too old. There is no air conditioning, only an old-fashioned air cooler, and the tatami is equipped with a thick quilt. The staying experience is unsatisfactory.

I was a bit concerned about the outside noise, but it was sufficient.
We enjoyed staying here! The room was spacious and clean. The staff were also very accommodating even if there’s a language barrier. We also enjoyed their onsen as first timers, it was really relaxing and nice to experience to be able to immerse in one of the Japanese cultures. Will definitely book here again if we were to come back.
This is the fourth review for this hotel. After staying for four consecutive days, I didn’t expect to be able to review it four times. Each time it was a full five-star review. The environment is relatively quiet and the price is affordable.
The distance is ambiguous for walking.
Check-in, check-out, and various services were good.
The hotel has a high ceiling, but the concrete is exposed.
The cleanliness was good.
The photo is a simple bread provided for free in the morning.
Coffee and cocoa are FREE.
It's very close to the mains and Goryokaku is right next to it.
Coffee is provided
Biggest hotel room I've had in Japan so far, with 20' ceilings. Concrete floor probably didn't help with the sea lion rookery snoring next door to me. Not much the hotel can do about that. The A/C fan is too quiet to help drown out such noise. Bring music in case you run into the same thing.

The rooms were spacious, including the bathrooms.
It seems like a historic inn,
and the hallways and rooms were clean.
The breakfast and dinner were delicious! 😋
Yamakawa Farm soft serve ice cream is sold at the front desk on the first floor.
I'm a recent visitor from Taiwan.
I had some great memories at Onuma Park.
Let's...
I was staying at a different accommodation, but stopped by the store just after 7:30 PM to buy beer and Yamakawa Farm milk soft serve ice cream (400 yen).
The staff member kindly accommodated me, saying it was fine for me to order soft serve ice cream (there is also a restaurant on site, so it was probably after last orders).
The staff member was very polite and made me feel comfortable.
The shops...
A nice hotel, to be sure, but stupidly overpriced. The scenery in the area is nothing special, and I mean, seriously, 9000 yen for two meals and the hotel doesn't have a hot spring? And the room doesn't even come with a toothbrush? I don't think so, guys.
Just barely three stars, and only because the hotel itself and the food was fine.
