Little Barrel Guest House in Otaru

2nd time stayed in the same hostel. Facilities are perfect, excellent clean. quality hostel guest. Super Market Coop nearby

The staff was friendly, the place is very cozy that I really wanted to extend my stay over there, even with shared bathroom for some rooms and the public kitchen everything is quite clean and well maintained.

You will feel comfy and relaxed, like sitting and slaying at your home. We're 4 pax and stayed 1 night, but feel hommy and humble in everything here. Our room can fit 4-6 pax. Pls enjoy here if you love English country style!!

Really nice place we have a good while staying

Good, clean, affordable, and quite comfortable.

The B&B's location is pretty good and convenient, with a convenience store right outside. The interior is beautiful and thoughtfully detailed. The front desk service was just okay, nothing special. The room itself was clean and tidy, but when we turned on the heater, there was a strong, persistent kerosene smell that was really unpleasant.

Everything was good except location is a little troublesome to get to especially during winter where you need to drag ur luggage across snow uphill

Quaint hostel that was renovated from an old building. Service is impeccable and the rooms are clean. The flooring can be squeaky when stepped on but that's part of the charm of residing in it.

I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the idea of a shared bathroom but the description of the facilities and furnishings intrigued me. When I checked in at Little Barrel I was immediately enthralled by the uniqueness of the decorations. It was indeed a pleasure to stay here and the numerous photos I took of the place can attest to that. And the shared bathrooms that I was so concerned about? It didn’t turn out to be a problem at all. The common bathrooms are maintained at a very high level of cleanliness and equipped with the latest toilet features.
So if like me, you are interested in staying in esoteric places you can give Little Barrel a try!
