Otaru Guesthouse Harvest - Hostel in Otaru

I made a reservation a month in advance, but when I arrived, it was closed, the lights were off, and the phone wasn't working, so I couldn't stay there.

Later, I received a call, but they just hung up abruptly, telling me to cancel...
I've stayed in many different places during my travels, but this is the first time I've experienced such treatment, hence this rating.

Ideally, I'd like an apology, but... there wasn't even that, so I suppose this inn's business model is questionable.
At the very least, I think they should notify guests in advance...

I couldn't get through on the phone, so my reservation was canceled.

I received a call back later, and they said they didn't know what to do and asked me to cancel...
The subsequent handling was extremely difficult...

This incident made me realize that I shouldn't make a hasty decision on a hotel just because it's available.
