Connecting room is perfect for the family of four. You also get 2 baths. Our rooms ere cleaned everyday. Brekfast is also good. Way going to hotel, is a challenge due to icy paths, please wear your spikes.

Hotel is 10 mins away from the subway
However , the cleaning is every 3 nights so need to consider.

Sapporo-Hokkaido, a nice city with so much to offer! Everything was more than adequate and Smile Hotel can truly put a Smile on your face! One thing I do like to have is a bathtub, which the room didn't have but the shower was upgraded, the room large compared to some Western style rooms.

There is a very nice onsen within walking distance from the hotel. You're a short walking distance to subway so the location is ok. The breakfast buffet is very good and staff were welcoming and helpful. Good place, and quiet!

The hotel's location is great, very close to the city center, about a 15-minute walk. The front desk service was excellent and very attentive, always willing to help. There's a Lawson convenience store right across from the main entrance, which is super convenient.

Japanese hotels are generally known for their small room sizes, but this room had no trouble accommodating our two 20-inch suitcases right by the door. The cleanliness was excellent, and the hotel's overall environment was quite tidy. The towels were very clean, and the bedding was good, making for a comfortable sleep. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the bustling main streets, but it's an acceptable walk if you don't have luggage. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I'm very satisfied.

The hotel staff is very nice in helping us checking in and gave us 4 tokens for the vending machine (we’re a group of 5). Each coin worth 150 JPY. The onsen is clean and safe, separate floor for men and women onsen. For women, there will be a code to enter when entering the onsen on the 14th floor. The room is clean and the AC works well. Great overall experience. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the airport. 8 people per bus.
