This place is quite good, but the hair dryer doesnt even work like altho its in turbo mode its still going slow. But over all its so old and this is the first time i went into a hotel that has a key to open the door its not modern. And i feel like its haunted and the view is..... but i do like the location, its windy i like it. No breakfast, so small, and so confusing and also no curtains :( and there is a washing machine in front of our room which turns on by its self and so noisy. (so scary )

The hotel location is good, closed to Station. the room is clean and staff friendly. Nothing to complain.

Room is compact but has all the necessary items. Hotel provides a wide variety of free amenities in the lobby area including tea. Each floor has a water dispenser and there is a jug for guest to collect water to be used in the room, which I find very convenient.

Very good hotel with a convenient location, within walking distance from Sapporo Station. The room size is comfortable—not too small—and I was able to open two 28-inch suitcases easily.

Breakfast is served as a set meal with a good variety of choices, and everything tasted great. The staff have an excellent service mindset.

I was also able to leave my luggage at the hotel after check-out while traveling to other areas, and then return to stay at the hotel again, which was very convenient

The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station, with plenty of convenience stores like Family Mart, 7-Eleven, and Lawson nearby. It's also just a 10-minute walk to the TV Tower. The underground passage makes it super easy to get directly to Susukino.

There's a soup curry place right around the corner, just turn left when you exit the hotel – so convenient for a walk-in meal.

While the hotel room facilities are a bit dated, they are still very clean.

If you arrive early, you can store your luggage in advance.

I had a very pleasant stay at Richmond Hotel Sapporo Ekimae. The room was clean and well maintained, with housekeeping done every day. Towels were changed daily, which I really appreciated. Even the bathroom was spotless and well kept throughout my stay.

The staff were friendly, polite, and very welcoming, which made the experience even better. One highlight was the breakfast service — it was excellent and is a full meal course. You can choose from six different set options, all of which were satisfying and well prepared.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is convenient, about a 15–20 minute walk to Sapporo Station. Getting around is easy as Sapporo has many interconnected underground walkways, which is especially helpful during cold or snowy days.
