This hotel is conveniently located just a five or six-minute walk from Sapporo Station, right next to Yodobashi Camera, which is great for shopping. There are also some delicious soup curry restaurants nearby.

The hotel facilities are excellent, and the room was very spacious. Even with three of us and our luggage open, there was still plenty of room to move around.

Breakfast was also very good.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Incredible value for money! Even the hairdryer and showerhead are from ReFa! The room, though small, has everything you need. The service is unbelievably good! The front desk provides a free bottle of water per person each day, and you can grab toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup remover, facial cleanser, lotion, combs, earplugs, coffee, and more from the first floor. There's also a free public bath on the second floor – perfect for a relaxing soak after skiing. It's directly across from Yodobashi, and there's a McDonald's and convenience store nearby. Plus, it's close to Sapporo Station!

The location is within easy walking distance of major attractions, subway lines, and great restaurants. The bed was incredibly comfortable,fantastic night's sleep every single night. Best of all, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Would definitely stay here again!

I am strongly NOT recommended this hotel for the foreigner.

When I book this hotel, the reason I choose is the parking even the price is almost ¥20,000.

However, I think there are big different between Japanese and foreigner. For the Japanese guests, they let them entry the indoor car park and help them to put the luggages into the hotel with big smile.
For the foreigner, they reject to provide the parking service and claim that it is full(I arrived the hotel around 4:15pm). They agree to put the luggages inside the hotel first after my negotiation. They reject me first as it is dangerous for us to let the car stay few minutes if there are having fire issue and our car will stuck. Can you image how come to let the customer park the car far far away (10 minutes walking distance) from hotel and take all the luggages walking on the ice street?

When I doubt the answer as there are two empty area and the staff said it is reserved by others. It is very crazy that he just told me “first come first reserve” in few minutes ago.

Secondly, I would like to point out: it is very dirty. There are big dust on the desk, many black line on the wall and black spots on the sheet. It is not an acceptable cleanliness for the ¥20,000 per night hotel.

When I first entered the hotel room, my initial impression wasn't great; some of the furniture looked a bit old. However, after staying for two weeks, I grew to love it more and more. Firstly, Japanese hotels excel in service; everyone, from the top management to the housekeepers, is Japanese. This is a stark contrast to my experiences in Osaka where many staff were Vietnamese, in Nagoya with many Indians, or in Tokyo where the front desk was often staffed by people from India. The hotel has a public bath on the second floor, which was incredibly comfortable for a soak after returning on a cold winter night. The central heating in the room was very effective and cozy! The shower pressure was also excellent, genuinely good! I'm planning to come back next year for a month to see the snow! This is my top choice for staying in Sapporo.

Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel is very close to the JR station, which makes getting around super convenient. Since I specifically chose a smoking room, my options were a bit limited, but this place felt like it had great service and was very clean. I'd definitely choose it again next time.

We went to Noboribetsu and left our luggage at the hotel for one night, then came back to stay again. Unfortunately, we didn't get the same treatment as our previous stay because it was the weekend and the hotel was almost full, so we didn't get a room upgrade. We stayed in a compact twin room where we couldn't fully open our suitcases at the same time, but considering the room rate, it was acceptable. Staying at Keihan always feels small but cozy.

The service was excellent; they even allowed early check-in. While the room's compact size was fine, the lack of a safe was a downside. Breakfast was very generous. However, the toiletries weren't major brands like Kao or POLA; they were generic Japanese brands.
