The hotel is walking distance to susukino street, 3 min walks away to family mart and some local ramen shop. It’s nearby the clock tower as well. The only downside is if u took the limousine bus from airport, you have to drag ur luggage all the way to the hotel … it is nightmare if is winter time where the road is piled up with snow. Overall the hotel is great just the service is a bit slow and the hotel staff dint even bother to help us to carry the luggage back to the room even they saw us 2 ppl carrying 4 luggage and panting… when we arrive lobby.(or they don’t have the service I’m not sure, for a well known hotel should have). That’s the only downside side

The Fairfield by Marriott Sapporo offers excellent value for money. The decor is simple and in a Japanese style, and the room was, as expected, very tidy and clean. While it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, which might be inconvenient on a snowy day, overall it's a good choice!

I stayed during my birthday month. When I entered the room, I was delighted to find a message card and surprise cookies waiting for me. The location is very convenient, as Nijo Market and the Tanukikoji shopping street are nearby. The hotel staff was very pleasant, and the hotel and rooms were very clean. The windows in the room can be opened and closed wide, so you can spend time without feeling oppressed. It was nice to have ventilation in the room in addition to the air conditioning. You upgraded from a single room to a larger bedroom with Marriott membership. This is a hotel I would love to stay at again when I go to Sapporo.

Great locatio to the fish mkt and shopping belt. Superb service too. Only downside is no recognition of Marriott status when booking via Trip.com

Superb, though it's a bit far from the subway station. However, it's very close to the shopping district. The front desk even gave me a box of chocolates and helped me add points to my Marriott membership. It was really great!

Fantastic location, a mere 5min walk to the start of the shopping street and food was abundant. Rooms were nicely appointed. And service was, as expected of Japanese standards, good. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel is great, centrally located, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The subway entrance is right across the street, just a short walk away. The room was spacious and very clean. Highly recommend!

The location is super convenient, right in Tanukikoji. Plus, for a Japanese hotel, the room is quite spacious. As a Marriott property, the service and facilities all meet their consistent standards. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
