The one-night stay with two meals was fantastic. I really enjoyed the hot springs and the kaiseki dinner. It's definitely worth recommending. If you're looking to relax and soak in some hot springs, this hotel will absolutely meet your needs.

We were met by an aloof and rude receptionist whose name has a 带 among other characters. She said check-in starts only at 3pm and obviously I don’t understand her as we were not Japanese. She pointed to the sign in Japanese. That said, her elderly colleague was amicable and a darling. He was polite and professional. The rooms were spacious and the complimentary Ume tea was delightful. There is a breakfast and Kaiseki dinner was delicious. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor Onsen.

The hotel's location is very convenient, close to both the subway and bus stops. It's about a 5-minute walk to Arima Onsen town, so there's no need for a shuttle bus.

The rooms and breakfast are decent and the facilities are all in working order. There are public baths for men and women, including Kinsen (gold spring) and Ginsen (silver spring) baths. For the price, it's considered a great value for money hotel.

The food is absolutely delicious. Breakfast is healthy and varied: miso soup, curry, rice, omelets, potato salad, sausages, boiled potatoes and broccoli, succulent fried tofu and dried tofu, fish for grilling on a mini-grill, red smoked fish, and cherry tomatoes. There are also tasty pastries like croissants and cinnamon rolls – they don't skimp on butter and jams. Plus, yogurts, sweet fruits in syrup, and muesli. For drinks, there's hot/cold coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, and iced water. The hot spring in the hotel is magnificent – both golden and silver springs, a jacuzzi, a cold pool, and cold rice tea after the onsen. They even sell sake in vending machines! You can buy souvenirs right in the hotel, and the prices are reasonable. It's a 4-minute walk from Arima Onsen station and 6 minutes to the bus stop (which goes directly to Kobe). The value for money is perfect, and the staff really go the extra mile. The kimonos are beautiful!

Good place to stay a night and explore Arima. Old fashioned. Really good, fresh and tasty breakfast. Service👍👍👍

At night somehow smoking smell appeared in our room even if room was non-smoking

An excellent hotel offering superb value for money. It's conveniently located very close to the station, and the front desk service was also great. Check-in strictly begins at 3 PM, with no early options available. While the rooms are a bit dated, they are impeccably clean. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing, and the Kaiseki dinner set was plentiful and satisfying. It was delightful to unwind in the onsen and then take a pleasant stroll through the charming local streets. Breakfast was also good. Overall, a very satisfying stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

- close proximity to train station and bus stop from Kobe.
- very spacious room. Enjoyed lounging on the sofa to enjoy the balcony.
- dinner was sufficient but not luxurious. The steamed crab rice filled us up.
- breakfast had great variety. I enjoyed the mushroom dish best. Unfortunately they did not replenish the handmade tofu for us to try.
- staff was professional.
