It was a great place to stay for 3 nights. Easily visible and easy to find from the JR train station Kobe north exit. Great to have washing machine and drying machine on the first floor. Great with varying Japanese breakfast which tasted good every morning.
But it is ridiculous with only one small elevator for so many rooms. When we were checking out, and we were waiting for a free elevator from 9:50 am to 10:15 am until we could enter, because we were on the second floor, and the elevator prioritized the higher floors, so it went up and down many times.

I stayed here to see the first sunrise of the year from Meriken Park! It's about a 5-minute walk north from Kobe Station, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so I had no trouble finding something to eat!

The hotel is within walking distance of JR Kobe Station and has excellent access. It's also convenient that there's a convenience store nearby. It was also nice that they included free breakfast. The switch between the faucet and shower was broken, so the shower wasn't usable.

I always use Toyoko Inn. Breakfast is free and the room condition is good. However, the soundproofing is poor, so it is a little noisy at night.

The service, sanitation, environment, and transportation are all good. The breakfast buffet in the morning is also very good. The sound insulation is a little poor. You can hear the sound of water running upstairs in the early morning, and you can also hear some noise in the corridor in the morning.

Everything is at TOYOKO INN standard as we had stayed before except the elevator is only one. It's taken long time and crowded in the morning during breakfast time.

The location is about 5 mins walk from Kobe Station which is also close to Harborland. Not many eateries around though I ate around places I visited. There is a convenient store less than a minute from the hotel if you want a snack.
The room was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

Only have one elevator in the building that need to wait for a while. And laundry charge also a bit higher than others
