The hostel is centrally located and easy to get around. Walking distance to Namba station, Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi shopping.

The staff are NOT friendly at all !!! The are like robot working as well, part of the staff do not speak English at all. The biggest advantage of this property is the location.

I had a 4 person room on the ladies floor. The rooms were a bit squashed, but my upper bunk had a small locker, socket and light as well as privacy curtains. Bathroom was clean and showers were not cramped with space to keep your stuff.

Everything good but if you do not have own towel you need to rental and all things was nice in my opinion. And good location you can choose train 2 line between yotsubashi and shinsaibashi.

Its really nice place to stay

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Imano Hostel was quite underwhelming.

Firstly, the location is a bit inconvenient. it’s a fairly long walk from the nearest train station, (at least 15-20 mins ) which isn’t ideal carrying luggage.

The room itself felt stuffy and poorly ventilated, making it uncomfortable to rest, especially after a long day out.

What really affected my stay was the service. One night, it was drizzling and I had misplaced my key card. Because of that, I couldn’t enter the lobby without tapping in. I knocked on the door and the receptionist clearly saw me, yet did nothing to help - didn’t step out, didn’t bother. (And no the reception area had no customer for the staff to tend to). It was another guest who eventually tapped me in. That lack of basic assistance was honestly quite upsetting.

To add on, the replacement fee for the lost key card was charged at the cost of one additional night, which felt extremely overpriced.

The bathroom situation was also inconvenient, with only two bathrooms available, resulting in long waiting times for showers.

Overall, I was disappointed with both the facilities and the service. I hope the hostel improves on these areas for future guests.

Stay 2 nights in this hotel, it's the best decision, because this hotel is nice, its a big room hotel in japan, the price is affordable too, and they gave nice breakfast, and hope i can stay again next time

[Not worth it if over 300 yuan per night]
Hygiene: It's clean, but compared to hotels and hostels in Japan, I'd say the hygiene level is average.
Environment: The overall space is quite small. The corridors and toilets are all quite tiny. The beds are bunk beds, and the ceiling height isn't very generous either.
Service: The service was just so-so. The person who checked me in was *********, and their attitude was a bit cold.

Had a really great experience here! The environment was clean and tidy, and it's super close to Shinsaibashi. The price was reasonable, and it's much cleaner than budget hotels back home. The privacy was also excellent. I'll definitely be back!

The service attitude here is truly terrible. The previous hotel, which was only about 60 yuan more expensive, had excellent service and provided fresh toiletries every day. This place offers nothing. I even read reviews before coming here that advised bringing your own toothbrush, slippers, and towels from your previous hotel – and they were right! The slippers here are practically unwearable. And seriously, no place to hang clothes in the shower? I'm baffled! For breakfast, they only have two options: one for 770 yen and another for 550 yen. I chose the 770 yen one, and the portion was tiny, just like in the pictures. I couldn't even tell what that white stuff was, and it was cold! Are they catering exclusively to Westerners? We Asians prefer warm food for breakfast. Not only was it unappetizing, but it was also expensive. Several people were huddled together, and one foreigner kept spraying perfume, which I found unbearable. I had to sleep with the window open, even with the AC on. Honestly, there's no comparison. My previous capsule hotel was heaven compared to this place. 😂
