Osaka, 4-2-9, Minamihommachi, Chuo-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
A decent city hotel located near to Honmachi stn. It's easy to confuse with Honmachi Eki-Mae 「Tower」, which is more taller and more popular to foreigners. Conpared to that, the room size seems to be smaller and there are not so much convenience facilities such as Family mart. However, still, the service including room cleaning is perfect. And, overall, the room is quiet.
Staffs were helpful and generous. Room typically small as Japan has limited space. Breakfast is great. Location is great but you have to use stair from train...No elevator.... that's the tough part if you have big luggage. Price is reasonable, compared to Location and service...APA changed a lot after COVID-19, mostly in a good way. Keep making better
Well, nice hotel more facilities. Near to japan railway and subway
Was not a fan... could not sleep because of the terrible pillows and heater that would not turn off. Clean though.
Solid and good hotel for the price! The reason for three stars is that there were mold visible on fittings in the bathroom. Other then that the hotel is up to the Apa standard of well run, wonderfully staffed and easy to use living accommodations for normal working people visiting or doing their job in Osaka.
Small clean rooms great if you don't plan being in them long

Great location at low price. Rooms are small, but have every amenity, and are well maintained. Has a breakfast buffet restaurant and some sort of traditional sauna too. Staff is efficient, interaction is smooth, despite me speaking no Japanese, never had any awkward moment with them. Overall, I am happy, I was ready to trade the room space for the good price, and there is no downside to it. Location...
Located just the at mouth of Higobashi metro station, a busy & big hotel. Reception area was relatively small but was efficiently managed by well trained & attentive staffs. Room was very tiny for two but every space was cleverly utilized. It had almost all needed amenities
& bed was comfortable. Bathroom was adequate & good though looked tiny too. We loved the food at their Artera restaurant but...
Personally, I was surprised to see the eco-friendly line on the bathtub! I thought it was a great example of environmental friendliness.
Besides the single room being really small(can't open my luggage unless on the bed) this hotel is amazing. Price, location(exit 3 from Higobashi station, literally right infront of it),room cleanliness, self check-in and checkout.
Location is kinda in a business district, but you are not that far away from the top locations, and I prefer the less crowded stations overall.
It was comfortable! Thank you very much!!
For a single person the room can be considered enough if not intend to stay many hours in the hotel, the location is ok very convenient that the Blue meteo line is exactly outside the main entrance but the rest are falling short. For me was the cheapest option for the last minute trip and didn't mind the accomodation too much, but still it fell crowded and small.

Hotel location is good - near major transport hubs. Service staff helpful & attentive. Negative is Aircon/heater centrally controlled- so we were unable to control the temperature in our room. It was too warm for our comfort.
You might want to think twice about this one. It's located near a railway line, and even rooms on the 10th or 20th floor that face the tracks can be affected. The constant banging and clattering of trains on the rails (and because it's a railway, not a metro/light rail, trains run even in the middle of the night) can be quite disruptive. If you're a light sleeper, you should definitely reconsider....
The hotel is very close to Osaka Station, just a 5-minute walk. They provide amenities like toner, lotion, facial cleanser, and makeup remover, so you don't need to bring your own. Breakfast is served on the 23rd floor with a wide variety of options and amazing views.
This hotel never fails. My third time using the hotel. It is a good location, good room and comfortable bed.
The room was a bit larger than I expected, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It was also very quiet, making for an overall good experience. The front desk service was excellent and very professional. The location is also quite good, very close to the station.
First time staying here. Its easily accessed from shin osaka station, about 8 mins walk. The room i stayed at comes with a very pretty view.

Small but clean room. Comes with all the basic amenities like fridge. Cold/room temperature Water and ice dispenser is available on all floors which ia convenient. The hotel's location is excellent. From the west exit of Osaka Station, turn right, walk straight, and cross a small road, and you're there. There's also an airport limousine bus stop nearby. There are plenty of dining options if you walk back to Osaka Station, and even more shopping opportunities since it's surrounded by malls. It was also very convenient for our trip to Universal Studios the next...
The location is absolutely fantastic, the hotel is clean, and the service is excellent. Even though it's close to the railway, for such a prime location in Umeda, the price is incredibly good, making it my top choice. Compared to other Japanese hotels, the room and bathroom are quite spacious. Having traveled to Japan over a dozen times, Hotel Hatonishiumeda is definitely my go-to hotel in Osaka. What...
The hotel is located at the West Exit of JR Osaka Loop Line (make sure to look for the West Exit when you get off, otherwise you'll have a long detour). Take Exit C, turn right and go straight (don't enter the mall), cross the road, and you'll be at the hotel. It's very close to Exit C. The closest convenience store to the hotel is a 7-Eleven, which you'll see if you turn left after exiting C. I stayed...

Highly recommend Hotel Kansai for solo travelers! The best part is the easy access—you can use the underground Whity Umeda walk (Exit M14) to avoid the rain and crowds. It’s right in the heart of the action, so you can explore the Umeda Sky Building or Hep Five and be back in your room in minutes. Simple, clean, and perfectly situated for anyone who wants to spend their time exploring rather than commuting
I stayed at Hotel Kansai for four nights. Overall, the room was pretty good — comfortable and clean. The bathroom is very small, but that’s fairly standard for Japan, so no real surprise there.
The staff were great and very friendly, although check-in is self-service, so you don’t really need much help anyway.
There were a few negatives that are worth mentioning. One small but disappointing issue...
I frequently stay at this hotel! The renovated rooms are great and very comfortable! It's also quiet! Perfect for a solo traveler! The front desk service is good too! A special shout-out to the breakfast – it's absolutely delicious! Eating a hearty breakfast and starting a beautiful day is a great choice! I recommend choosing a higher floor for excellent views!
easy check in and check out. able to keep my luggage before check in at 1500
The room was very clean; although a bit small, it had everything we needed. The breakfast was plentiful, especially the Chinese food options. The location is excellent, very close to JR Osaka Station and Umeda Station, making transportation very convenient. There are also many pubs, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, so finding places to eat or shop for groceries was a breeze.
The hotel's location is pretty good, close to Umeda and Osaka Station. The facilities are basic, but it's clean enough, especially considering the price. If your trip mainly involves just coming back to the hotel to sleep, it's perfectly adequate. After a long day of exploring, that moment of lying down is truly wonderful.

Osaka, 1 1 7 Sanno Nishinari-ku (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
My room was on the second floor, room number 256 I think, and it was right next to the railway. It was incredibly loud at night, so much so that it felt like trains were running right over my head, making it impossible to sleep. On the bright side, the hotel offers a free breakfast which was a nice touch. The location is super convenient – you can take the JR line directly from Kansai Airport to Shin...
It's right in front of the zoo, surrounded by many homeless people, so it's quite dirty and messy. It's a bit of a walk to Abeno. The facilities are old, so if you're easily scared, I wouldn't recommend staying here. The breakfast buffet was decent, and the front desk staff were friendly and enthusiastic.
The hotel is incredibly close to Tennoji Station and easy to find. The staff were very attentive. While the room was small, it was fully equipped. My only complaint is that the toilet was a bit small, even though there was definitely enough space in the bathroom for a standard-sized one. The free breakfast was a pleasant surprise; there were already many guests at 6:30 AM. Although the variety of food...
This is my go-to business hotel, I've stayed here many times. The service is excellent; the staff always greet you warmly when you come and go. The breakfast selection is extensive, and they even use Japanese-grown rice, which is a big plus given current rice prices. During the day, I needed a quiet place to study, and they kindly let me use the restaurant on the second floor. The rooms are clean and...
Room is clean and tidy. Standard Toyoko inn breakfast. Near to metro station.
Looking at the location, you can tell it's going to be noisy, with a road in front and a railway behind. It turns out the noise significantly decreases after 11 PM, but it's definitely very loud in the mornings. If you're a light sleeper, you should definitely reconsider this hotel. Otherwise, everything else is pretty good; it's a fairly standard Toyoko Inn.

Osaka, 1-8-31 Shikitsuhigashi, Naniwa Ward (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot yet still very central. It's a convenient 15-minute walk to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it easy to get around. As expected for Japan, the room was small but had everything you could need.
Location is good near namba station. l stayed here for 5 days 4 night. When l checked in at late night l realise bathroom smelly next day l inform receptionist request to clean up bathroom still got the bad smell. Have laundry service. Nearby have grocery mall.
The single room was quite spacious. There's a small entryway by the door where you can hang clothes and change shoes, and the luggage rack can easily hold a 30-inch suitcase. The lobby offers free coffee and drink machines. It's close to Daikoku Station, and there's a Life supermarket nearby that's open until midnight. Very satisfied!
This hotel is the best hotel in this trip!!
Room interior was bright and everything was clean. The toilet provided shampoo, conditioner and soap. The smell was soooo nice. Also the water pressure nice so you relief some tiredness.
But one thing I don’t like about was the sound proof. Cuz you can heard kids screaming. Tho that was not happened at night time but still a bit annoyed.
The room was clean and tidy, and I appreciated the option to choose whether or not to have it cleaned. Aside from the occasional sound of cars racing at night, the surroundings were quite quiet. There's a 24-hour supermarket not far away, and several convenience stores nearby. The subway station is just a ten-minute walk, making getting around very convenient. My only minor quibble is that the room...

Osaka, 2-1 Doyama-cho, Kita-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Coming from Umeda Station, you'll want to find the East Mall, then walk straight until you reach exit M10 of WHITY PLAZA Izumi Square. The first time can be a bit confusing because there are so many people, so make sure to look up for signs. Once you've done it once, it's easy to navigate, and there's an elevator exit. The room size is moderate and has everything you need.
The front desk service was excellent, very friendly and efficient with a quick check-in. We were given a room on the 11th floor, which was quiet and clean. The room size was decent, and they offer luggage storage. The area around the hotel is quite lively with plenty of options for dining and shopping, making it very convenient.
The hotel is conveniently located just an 8-minute walk from Hankyu Department Store, if you turn right and walk straight. Behind the hotel, there's a street called Higashi-dori with many snack shops. The M10 exit leads directly to the lively underground shopping street, Izumi no Hiroba, which connects all the way to the B1 floor of Hankyu Department Store, offering an incredible variety of food.
The hotel room was great, much larger and more spacious than I expected. It had all the amenities you could need. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Umeda, just a short walk away. Plus, there's a Don Quijote store nearby, which is handy for shopping.
After arriving at JR Osaka Station, I followed the navigation and eventually reached the hotel after a right turn and a left turn through a shopping street. It's a quiet oasis nestled in a bustling area. Since it's right above a shopping street, finding food is incredibly convenient with plenty of options. I arrived just before 11 AM and only wanted to store my luggage. I have to praise their system...
The hotel is conveniently located near the Umeda business district, making it easy to get around and shop. If you check in early, you can self-deposit your luggage. The room is very small; arranging luggage requires some skill, and there's barely enough space for two people to turn around.

Nice hotel, great location, easy check-in and check-out. Electric massage chair in some rooms!
Have been staying with APA for many times during our trip to Japan. It’s been good but small rooms . All amenities in room are available otherwise
I make a reservation every time I go on a business trip to Osaka, but it was a bit disappointing that there was hair in the bathroom and transparent plastic left on the chair, perhaps because they hire foreigners for cleaning; however, I assume it was a mistake.
Had a wonderful stay and enjoyed my time in this Osaka hotel. Hotel is a few minutes walk from the train station. Convenient hotel as a hub for surrounding areas like Kyoto and Kobe.
Rooms are a little tight, but not a big issue for one person. Rooms are pretty clean. Would stay again when im back in Osaka.
I checked into this hotel on December 9th and today I will check out. The size of the room I really like it. It was small and had all the amenities. The hotel is very close to shin-osaka station and also close to Minamigata station and Nishinakajima Minamigata station as well. Thank you for allowing me to stay for 3 weeks. Next year when I am back for vacation I would like to book your hotel again...
Good location to be close to Shin Isaka station. Train trips to Dotonbori and Namba are pretty decent (20 min?)

This hotel is one of the best mid-price hotel we ever lived in Japan. You get to choose your own pillow, enjoy the free-flow drink bar as well as the onsen with the hotel. The room is decently clean, nothing to complaint about!
## Hygiene and Service:
The hotel has a policy that guests must put out a 'clean my room' sign before 10 AM each day for full housekeeping. Otherwise, only towels and trash bags will be replaced. Even with full cleaning, it's just a basic tidying up; linens and pillowcases are not changed.
## Location:
It's a bit far from Osaka JR Station, but you can get there directly via bus #88. There's a convenience...
Fantastic! Clean, tidy, and beautiful 🤩. The hot springs were also super comfortable. Thumbs up! I'll definitely come back again. It's also very close to all the attractions.
This hotel is really nice with its natural hot spring and free flow drinks available from vending machines. Location is not too bad, near train station and bus stops.
An absolutely wonderful Japanese hotel experience. The lovely lady at the front desk, who spoke Chinese, kindly explained how to use all the hotel facilities. The onsen (hot spring) was definitely the biggest highlight; a soak in the evening really helped to relieve the day's fatigue. The ladies' room was especially thoughtful, equipped with a vanity mirror and a curling iron. It was very quiet, and...

Nice hotel. Near restaurant area. next to train station. Nice staff. The most I love is... smoking room. Good price for Osaka.
Really good hotel. It takes about 15 minutes of walking to reach Namba. Rooms were above average in-size and hotel was located off the busy nightlife area.

The evening drinks and late night ramen is a welcomed service offered by the hotel, especially after a long day of sightseeing.
Location is quite good, where its near a supermarket and a subway station. Its also very near to Shinsekai.
Wonderful place for families. Lots of activities and free food. Amazing onsen which is not crowded. Room is spacious and clean. Will surely stay again when I visit osaka.

Since I was staying overnight, I just needed a room where I could sleep, so a small room was fine. The best thing was that the large public bath and open-air bath were spacious and clean, and were great for soothing my cold body. I was surprised that most of the staff were foreigners, but they had studied Japanese thoroughly and I thought the service was adequate.
Breakfast was okay. The breakfast was not a buffet, but a choice of one plate or curry, and rice and soup were free to refill. It was a one plate meal, but it was very filling.
Most of the nearby restaurants close around 10 PM, so I recommend eating before heading in. If you haven't eaten, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby, so you'll have to walk about 10 minutes. The hotel parking lot is small, so you'll have to use a nearby paid parking lot, which costs 2,000 yen per night. I hope this helps!
The location is quite far away from down twon;
We booked twin room with two single beds while they gave us a single room with two beds, it makes the room becomes so tiny and we are unable to open our suit cases.
Besides, the parking spaces are very limited, we can only park our car in front of the hotel's front door.
While the service of the staff is very good, and the sento is so nice and the breakfast...
Excellent location, just two minutes away from subway station but in a quiet area away from the noise of the city. Lots of places to eat nearby. Friendly and helpful staff who helped me to book my reservation for Tiananmen Square.

Overall, this hotel performs well and is a solid choice for business accommodation.
In terms of facilities, the rooms are on the more compact side for a business hotel, and the air conditioning only offers fan speed adjustment. However, all equipment is functioning properly and meets basic usage needs.
Hygiene is well-maintained, with no noticeable issues found.
The surrounding area is very convenient...
The hotel's location is excellent; it's just across a small street from an elevator entrance to Higobashi Subway Station, making subway travel incredibly convenient. For a single room, it's quite spacious – I could even open up my 28-inch suitcase. Plus, the hotel's decor feels quite new overall. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Osaka.
This is a great hotel. Check-in, getting around, and check-out are all very convenient. The hotel has excellent facilities, consistently good as always. Downstairs, there's a buffet and a duty-free drugstore, and there are all sorts of restaurants nearby. It's about a 15-minute walk to Umeda and the airport bus stop. Superb!

However, be aware that the subway line going towards Umeda leads to Nishi-Umeda, which is still quite a distance from Umeda Station itself. The room was small, and the bathroom was tiny. The main issue was that the toilet faced a wall, and due to the close proximity, it was very awkward after using the facilities. They don't provide...

Osaka, 3-12-10 Toyosaki, Kita-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was clean and the location wasn't too far from the Umeda shopping district on foot. The price was reasonable, and they even stored our luggage for us when we arrived early. The staff were also quite friendly. We bought a lot of things, so we sorted the packaging bags (paper, plastic, etc.) and left them neatly in the room. We noticed other rooms also had various packaging sorted and placed...
The hotel is overall OK, nothing that outright fails.
However carpet is a bit worn. Pillow is not the usual medium soft fluffy type, some kind of beads inside, which me and my wife are not used to. The spare bed i slept on was too soft and gave me a bit of backache.
All said, for the price, is what you can expect.
The hotel is just steps from Nakatsu Station, with a convenience store right next door. The location is excellent, the room was impressively spacious, clean, and quiet. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive. A pleasantly surprising stay overall.
The hotel is new and a large, reputable establishment. The service is warm and attentive, and the rooms are well-equipped and very clean. Although the rooms are small, they are well-designed and perfectly functional. The location is convenient; it's a 200-meter walk to the subway station. Shopping is also easy, with the core Umeda shopping district just an 800-meter walk away, plus many convenience...
The location is fantastic, with plenty of options for dining, drinking, and shopping nearby. If you're staying in Umeda, I highly recommend it. It's also super convenient for airport transfers; the Hankyu Hotel stop for the airport bus to Kansai International Airport is only about a ten-minute walk away.
The location is great, just one subway stop from Umeda and very close to the station, probably within 300 meters.
The hotel is a large building, feeling like a business-style hotel, but the rooms are a bit dated. In Japan, it's a case of 'small but perfectly formed,' with quite comprehensive facilities.
Overall, considering the location, it feels like a good value for money option.

Osaka, 2-16-15, Doushin (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I stayed at APA Hotel Osaka Tenma for three nights and had a very positive experience overall. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious for a city hotel. The bed was comfortable with crisp linens, and the blackout curtains made it easy to sleep in despite the city lights.
The room amenities were excellent: the air conditioner worked quietly, the TV had a good selection of channels, and...
It's close to Tenma Station, making it convenient for sightseeing and travel. The Tenma Station shopping street is the longest in Japan and has many unique shops, making it a fun place to visit any time of the day. Personally, I prefer walking around Dotonbori or Tsutenkaku.
Although I was late in checking in, I was grateful that you contacted me and dealt with the matter courteously.
My friend and I had booked different methods and at different times, but on the day of the trip we were given rooms next to each other, so we were able to enjoy our trip with peace of mind.
Enjoyed the public bath and also strategic location
I've stayed at different APA hotels and have had mixed experiences. This time around, I wanted to stay at one with a sentō, which has an ok size but was overall nice. However, the quality of the bed was lacking: the mattress felt like it was coming apart and not providing enough support on one side, and quite hard on the other, and the pillows were terrible. Having said that, the hotel is nice, location...
I was really impressed with this hotel. The beds were semi-firm and comfortable, the location was convenient, but most of all, I loved the breakfast!
I'm a big fan of curry, even though it's not something I typically order as breakfast food. But APA offered a really great selection of naan and different curries - including different levels of spice - that convinced me.
The chicken tikka served on...
