Osaka, 5-3-68 Nakanoshima, Kita-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We were upgraded to a suite, which was a pleasant surprise given how spacious it was – quite rare for Japan. It's an older five-star hotel with a free shuttle service to the city center and it's right next to a subway station. The river in front of the hotel offers a nice view too. If you walk about 700-800 meters, you'll find plenty of great food options, especially a noodle shop that's ranked second...
The hotel was very clean, the staff were polite, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the price I booked through Ctrip was not high. This was the most satisfying hotel of my trip to Japan.
The room was very clean and tidy, and quite spacious. The design was thoughtful, and I especially loved the waterfall in the lobby. Sitting in the lobby bar, sipping a black tea with wagashi, was incredibly comfortable. The environment was quiet and elegant, and the breakfast was also excellent.
It's disappointing that such a large hotel doesn't have a sauna.
It is a newly renovated hotel with long history. There are shops, restaurants and 7-11 within the hotel. There are science museum, art museum in walking distance and convention centre next door. There is a train station just under the hotel but it is a remote line and hardly linked to the main lines. Good thing is that there are free shuttle buses every 10-15 mins to Osaka JR station for about 15 mins...
The hotel's facilities are decent, a bit dated but well-maintained. It's right above a subway station, but it's on a less central line. You'll need to transfer to another station, and it's an outside transfer, to reach popular areas. However, the hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to Umeda Station.

Superb location, right beside JR Osaka station. Supermarket is at B1 floor, very convenient. Facility is nice and clean. For sure will book again.
The location is perfect. The room is a bit small but the soundproofing is good. You can use your hotel room card to go directly to the supermarket downstairs. Check-in and check-out are done via self-service machines, which is very friendly for tourists who don't speak Japanese.
The location is great; you don't even have to leave the building to visit all the places you want, and there's a supermarket on the basement level. I wouldn't recommend the hotel breakfast, though; there isn't much variety, no omelets, and the serving area gets very crowded.
Great location and super convenient!
Room is pretty compact and has all the things you need!
Hotel quality and location are exceptional. Great service, refined finishing. Highly recommended.
The location is fantastic, super convenient for getting to any attraction or city. Shopping is a breeze with pharmacies, malls, and supermarkets everywhere. Plus, there's a direct airport shuttle to both Kansai Airport and Itami Airport. Dining is also incredibly easy; the 8th floor downstairs has all sorts of delicious food options, and you can even pay directly with WeChat Pay.

Osaka, 4-2-9, Minamihommachi, Chuo-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
A decent city hotel located near to Honmachi stn. It's easy to confuse with Honmachi Eki-Mae 「Tower」, which is more taller and more popular to foreigners. Conpared to that, the room size seems to be smaller and there are not so much convenience facilities such as Family mart. However, still, the service including room cleaning is perfect. And, overall, the room is quiet.
Staffs were helpful and generous. Room typically small as Japan has limited space. Breakfast is great. Location is great but you have to use stair from train...No elevator.... that's the tough part if you have big luggage. Price is reasonable, compared to Location and service...APA changed a lot after COVID-19, mostly in a good way. Keep making better
Well, nice hotel more facilities. Near to japan railway and subway
Was not a fan... could not sleep because of the terrible pillows and heater that would not turn off. Clean though.
Solid and good hotel for the price! The reason for three stars is that there were mold visible on fittings in the bathroom. Other then that the hotel is up to the Apa standard of well run, wonderfully staffed and easy to use living accommodations for normal working people visiting or doing their job in Osaka.
Small clean rooms great if you don't plan being in them long

Great location at low price. Rooms are small, but have every amenity, and are well maintained. Has a breakfast buffet restaurant and some sort of traditional sauna too. Staff is efficient, interaction is smooth, despite me speaking no Japanese, never had any awkward moment with them. Overall, I am happy, I was ready to trade the room space for the good price, and there is no downside to it. Location...
Located just the at mouth of Higobashi metro station, a busy & big hotel. Reception area was relatively small but was efficiently managed by well trained & attentive staffs. Room was very tiny for two but every space was cleverly utilized. It had almost all needed amenities
& bed was comfortable. Bathroom was adequate & good though looked tiny too. We loved the food at their Artera restaurant but...
Personally, I was surprised to see the eco-friendly line on the bathtub! I thought it was a great example of environmental friendliness.
Besides the single room being really small(can't open my luggage unless on the bed) this hotel is amazing. Price, location(exit 3 from Higobashi station, literally right infront of it),room cleanliness, self check-in and checkout.
Location is kinda in a business district, but you are not that far away from the top locations, and I prefer the less crowded stations overall.
It was comfortable! Thank you very much!!
For a single person the room can be considered enough if not intend to stay many hours in the hotel, the location is ok very convenient that the Blue meteo line is exactly outside the main entrance but the rest are falling short. For me was the cheapest option for the last minute trip and didn't mind the accomodation too much, but still it fell crowded and small.

Room is clean and the hotel location is perfect! Service was very good and prompt too. Excellent hotel and I would definitely recommend everyone visiting Osaka!
The room was a bit small, but the location is incredibly convenient for getting around and exploring! It's easy to reach the hotel from the B1 food hall of Daimaru Department Store. Plus, there's a large bus service nearby that goes to Kansai Airport, costing 1800 JPY for adults and 900 JPY for children, making it especially suitable for families with kids.
Excellent location in the Umeda district. Right downstairs, you have JR, Umeda Department Store – everything is super convenient. The room was very clean, and the soundproofing was excellent. After a few days, we even upgraded to a larger room.
The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get around. Plus, there are plenty of shopping options nearby, which was a real treat! For Japan, the room size was quite decent, and it was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The service was exceptionally polite and made for a very satisfying stay!
The location is absolutely fantastic! It's super convenient for shopping and getting around, perfect for families with kids who love to shop. You can't really compare it to hotels in China at the same price point, but compared to other Japanese hotels, the 25-square-meter twin room is quite spacious – big enough to open two large suitcases, and the twin beds can even be pushed together to make a king...
Coming from Kobe to Osaka Umeda, the hotel is conveniently located directly above the Daimaru department store. There's a direct elevator from the JR station straight up to the 19th-floor lobby. The surrounding underground shopping area is extensive and has everything you could possibly need. The hotel's breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again, it was great!

Location very good next to Dotonbori, and very near to Nippombashi metro. Nearby got kombini, drugstore as well. Downside is can be a bit noisy and waiting long for lift as there are many travellers in this hotel. Not sure if the AC was working or not since it was winter, the room was warm.
Sotetsu Grand Fresa Osaka Namba offers a very smooth and easy check-in and check-out process. Everything is well-organized and hassle-free. The hotel provides almost everything guests might need — even small details like hair ties are available.

Room is clean and cozy. Location is very convenient. Near to metro abd major attractions. Amenities were provided. Provided options whether to do room cleaning or just change of towels, which is a total respect for privacy. For removing trash only, just leave the trash bin outside the room. The location is excellent, very close to the subway station, about a two-minute walk, and there are many duty-free shops nearby, satisfying all your shopping needs. The hotel staff are incredibly warm and polite, making for a fantastic experience!
The hotel's location is excellent. It's very convenient to get there from the airport by train or bus. Both check-in and check-out are self-service. The staff were friendly and helpful, storing our luggage for us. There are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options within walking distance. Old school hotel with everything you need. But its closing down. But there are other branches for booking around Osaka.
They only clean your room every fourth day of your stay. The room is relatively small but has almost everything you need. But the location is superb, literally just next to the Osaka Station, just have to get out from the right exit gate. There's also a bus terminal just outside the hotel and you can purchase the bus ticket to the airport on the same day of your departure.
Typical small room as Japanese style.
Superb location to Umeda station especially the Airport limousine bus.
Will be closed in Jan 2025.
there’s only one thing i wanna feedback is about this hotel they use centralised air conditioning.
I’m travelling in early dec, that is only for heater…
which we have to request to the hotel to open up the window for cold air to flow in - which mean the temperature is uncontrollable, is whether u have to open up narrower or wider of the window to decide and most likely you can’t get a ideal temperature...
We liked a lot the location - close to all the shops you might need. Our room was quiet small, for two beds and two futons. We enjoed our stay especially because of the breakfast. A wade range of dishes including vegetables, meats, fruits. A bit japanese style, a bit european style.
Good location. Very strategic. Nice and friendly staff.

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL! Very clean and all staff amazing, especially Quyen who kindly did our check in and was polite and helpful. Did not need room cleaning as only stayed 2 days but room was clean and had everything needed. (Hair drier, teas, water). Great stay.
Excellent location, very close to Jusan (Juso) subway station, making it easy to get to Umeda. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, so it's not noisy at night. There are also many restaurants nearby. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Osaka.
The environment is great and the service is excellent! Really good! The only minor downside was the breakfast, which was a little disappointing.
It's relatively clean. There are many food options in the Thirteenth District. The room isn't very big.
The hotel is much larger than other hotels. Nice and clean. The front desk staff can speak some English. The room is comparatively larger than other hotels', too. Highly recommend.
About 10minutes walk from Juso station (Hankyu Line) Exit West gate, there are a lot of restaurants nearby Juso station. There are convenience stores near to Hotel.

If you're visiting Universal Studios, Universal Tower Hotel is the top choice. No need to wake up early or worry about getting back late, the location is absolutely fantastic. The room types are very family-friendly, and there's even a handsome guy...
Right next to the subway exit, and it's a 10-minute walk to Universal Studios Japan. They offer complimentary welcome drinks in the afternoon. There's a paid public bath available, the room is spacious, and the bathroom is large with a separate wet and dry area.
The room was incredibly satisfying. The hotel is right outside the subway exit, situated on the commercial street leading to Universal Studios. There's also a convenience store downstairs. It gets really lively and bustling at night. It's super close to Universal Studios too; just a few hundred meters walk and you're at the queuing entrance. The room was spacious and comfortable, and it's genuinely only 200 meters from Universal Studios. Shopping and dining options are also very convenient nearby. Highly recommend! 👍
The room was clean, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. The decor was all about the details, which was really lovely. Food and transportation were both convenient, right in Universal Town. I'll definitely stay here again next time.
The hotel's main advantages are its proximity to the train station and Universal Studios. Considering it was built in 2002, the facilities are quite good. The room is about 25 square meters, spacious enough to fully open a large suitcase, which is nice. My only personal issue, due to my slight潔癖 (germophobia), is that the housekeeping isn't perfect when it comes to hair – I often find a strand or two...

The hotel might not be brand new, but it's very clean and the service is excellent. It offers great value for money and the location is fantastic. It's super convenient for both the subway and bus. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time.
This is an established five-star hotel in the heart of Osaka, boasting an excellent location. Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line is right downstairs, and it's just a seven or eight-minute walk to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. Across the street, you'll find Parco and Daimaru department store. It's incredibly convenient for tourists looking to shop and dine!
Great location with food and shopping mall on both side American village is.just step away.
Perfect location, good amenities, and very friendly, helpful lobby team (assisting guests). The only downside was that the AC didn’t work properly on the first night, so the room was a bit cold. It was fixed the next day after I reported it. Another minor issue was some noisy neighbors (adults and kids) from early morning until late at night. Overall though, it was a good stay.
The location is excellent — directly connected to Shinsaibashi subway station, opposite Parco and Daimaru, with Amerikamura just behind the hotel. Very convenient for shopping and getting around.
Service was good and housekeeping was reliable. Although the hotel is older, the room was well maintained and clean, which is expected in Japan. I would stay here again mainly for the location.

As a well-established hotel, Nikko's baseline quality is inherently high. You can directly access the hotel elevator from Exit 8 of Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line, and a地下道 (underground passage) connects you to Daimaru and Parco. Good place for rest. SPA also provided. Nice morning breakfast. Convience to walk to shin Osaka rail station. Many restaurant located around the hotel.
Booked via Booking.com, confirmation and check-in was a breeze. Booked for three nights, and the front desk staff quietly upgraded my room upon check-in, which was a nice surprise. The hotel's location is excellent, with a subway station and Kintetsu department store right downstairs. Plus, there's a shuttle bus to Kansai Airport for 1800 yen per person. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.
The room was quite small, and breakfast was just okay. The hotel has an 80s vibe. However, it's very convenient to get around, with everything you need for dining, shopping, and transportation close by. My only complaint is that they gave me a room at the very end of the hallway, so I had a long walk every time I went back to my room!

This is a classic old Japanese hotel. As soon as I entered, someone helped me with my luggage. For this price, having breakfast included is a really good deal. Really recommend this hotel, just walk across the road to Osaka castle. A lot of convinence stores nearby,Starbucks,Mc Donals and Metro staton,JR station. Breakfast is great with western and Japanese style. The staff were super helpful. Good vibe
The facilities are old, and not well-maintained either. I wiped the nightstand casually and a thick yellow stain came off! I booked a room with a view of Osaka Castle, but after searching for a long time, I found out I had to crane my neck 90 degrees to see it 👀. The room was spacious, I guess that's the only good thing.
Initially not my first choice but glad I did change. The best hotel I must say in Osaka. There are several restaurants in the hotel and they served good breakfast. The size of the room is huge compared to the Japan standard, five star! Our room has the best view of Osaka castle, If only I can stay the longest.
The hotel room was quite spacious for Japanese standards, and it was a convenient walk to the subway station. The TV in the room wasn't directly facing the bed, but rather the sofa side. Very good bargain for this famous Jap branding hotel. Room was big enough for two luggages and movement, just personally think the lights were little bit dim making the room not bright enough. Very convenience location for shopping

The location is great in the city center can walk 5 mins to namba. The room size is quite big compare ton other hotel in Japan. The best thing is onsen on the skybar!! Imaging after walk the whole day and you can relax in onsen!! Will come back to this plac
I checked out from candeo wakayama amd checked into candeo namba. Similarity.. the rooms were huge.
Buttt the cleaning wasnt good! There were stains on the sofa.
Housekeeping wasnt thorough.
Somedays dirty towels that were put aside wasnt picked up. Even rubbish was not cleared!
What a difference when compared with my previous stay.
The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and had everything I needed. The large public bath on the top floor has two big pools, one indoor and one outdoor. After a long day of walking, my legs were shot, so a soak in the evening felt absolutely amazing.
The main draw is really the convenient location. Other than that, it feels pretty standard for the price. Given the location and price point, there's nothing bad to say. Luggage storage was easy, and the air conditioning worked great.

Excellent location with panoramic views of Osaka Bay! The room was spacious and offered fantastic scenery – I got to watch both the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, keeping everything spotless and comfortable. Plus, it was super convenient for getting around!
The room was great, with a fantastic view of Osaka Bay. Breakfast, however, was just average.
The hotel is quite large, but they don't even offer coffee, and you have to queue for breakfast. The water pressure is very low. It's advertised as being close to the hot springs, but you still have to walk a bit to get there; it's not actually on the hotel grounds. Also, when you return to the hotel after 8 PM, all the shops in the mall are already closed.
Nice place to stay with special price to Onsem . Three stop to USJ . Basement got Daiso and big supermarket. Around got many restaurants and shops.
This hotel is truly a king of value for money! The environment, location, and service are all fantastic. We were especially impressed by the daily housekeeping details. If anyone I know is planning a trip to Osaka, the first place I'll recommend them to stay is definitely this hotel.
Stayed on the 49th floor... The view in the morning and the city lights at night... Wow, truly unforgettable. The room was spacious and clean. It's super convenient as there are subway stations just a few minutes' walk away. Downstairs, there's a Family Mart, a pharmacy, fast food joints, and a large hot spring (which costs extra). We stayed for 5 nights and I'd love to bring my kids and wife next...

Hotel location is good - near major transport hubs. Service staff helpful & attentive. Negative is Aircon/heater centrally controlled- so we were unable to control the temperature in our room. It was too warm for our comfort.
You might want to think twice about this one. It's located near a railway line, and even rooms on the 10th or 20th floor that face the tracks can be affected. The constant banging and clattering of trains on the rails (and because it's a railway, not a metro/light rail, trains run even in the middle of the night) can be quite disruptive. If you're a light sleeper, you should definitely reconsider....
The hotel is very close to Osaka Station, just a 5-minute walk. They provide amenities like toner, lotion, facial cleanser, and makeup remover, so you don't need to bring your own. Breakfast is served on the 23rd floor with a wide variety of options and amazing views.
This hotel never fails. My third time using the hotel. It is a good location, good room and comfortable bed.
The room was a bit larger than I expected, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It was also very quiet, making for an overall good experience. The front desk service was excellent and very professional. The location is also quite good, very close to the station.
First time staying here. Its easily accessed from shin osaka station, about 8 mins walk. The room i stayed at comes with a very pretty view.

Right next door to a 7-Eleven, with several FamilyMarts and Lawsons nearby. The subway station is a reasonable distance away. The hotel has listened to feedback and now provides disposable slippers, and you can get a complimentary bottle of water every day. The business district is pretty quiet at night. There's a well-stocked Life supermarket about 20 minutes away, and also a Matsuya and Torikizoku...
Our first stop in Japan was Osaka, and we stayed at the Keihan Hotel Yodoyabashi – it was excellent and highly recommended!
From Kansai Airport, we took the Nankai Rapid Express to Namba. After exiting the station, we found the Midosuji Line and took it one stop towards Minoh to Yodoyabashi. From there, we looked for Exit 18 of the Keihan Line, went up to ground level, spotted a 7-Eleven, and the...
I booked this hotel based on recommendations, and the location is indeed excellent, plus the surrounding area is quiet, and the staff service is great. However, the room is really too small; there's no space to open a suitcase. It's barely okay for one night, but staying longer would feel cramped.
The room size is good, we could open three suitcases at once. The amenities inside are excellent, all brand-name products. The location is superb, with several transport lines nearby, making it convenient to go anywhere. This time, my friends and I went to Osaka for a concert, and staying here was incredibly convenient and fast.
Hygiene: The room was very clean. For guests staying multiple nights, a full cleaning is provided every three days; otherwise, they offer towel changes and trash bag replacement.
Facilities: The decor is quite new. Upon check-in, I received a room upgrade to a larger size than the economy twin room I originally booked. It had a table and two chairs by the window, which I don't think the original room...
This hotel's location is fantastic, super close to the subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient! The facilities are all top-notch and well-maintained, everything works perfectly. Overall, the check-in experience was excellent, the service was attentive, and the value for money is unbeatable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town!
