Osaka, 5-3-68 Nakanoshima, Kita-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
We were upgraded to a suite, which was a pleasant surprise given how spacious it was – quite rare for Japan. It's an older five-star hotel with a free shuttle service to the city center and it's right next to a subway station. The river in front of the hotel offers a nice view too. If you walk about 700-800 meters, you'll find plenty of great food options, especially a noodle shop that's ranked second...
The hotel was very clean, the staff were polite, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the price I booked through Ctrip was not high. This was the most satisfying hotel of my trip to Japan.
The room was very clean and tidy, and quite spacious. The design was thoughtful, and I especially loved the waterfall in the lobby. Sitting in the lobby bar, sipping a black tea with wagashi, was incredibly comfortable. The environment was quiet and elegant, and the breakfast was also excellent.
It's disappointing that such a large hotel doesn't have a sauna.
It is a newly renovated hotel with long history. There are shops, restaurants and 7-11 within the hotel. There are science museum, art museum in walking distance and convention centre next door. There is a train station just under the hotel but it is a remote line and hardly linked to the main lines. Good thing is that there are free shuttle buses every 10-15 mins to Osaka JR station for about 15 mins...
The hotel's facilities are decent, a bit dated but well-maintained. It's right above a subway station, but it's on a less central line. You'll need to transfer to another station, and it's an outside transfer, to reach popular areas. However, the hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to Umeda Station.

Osaka, 4-2-9, Minamihommachi, Chuo-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Spa facilities: Massage, Spa and wellness centre
A decent city hotel located near to Honmachi stn. It's easy to confuse with Honmachi Eki-Mae 「Tower」, which is more taller and more popular to foreigners. Conpared to that, the room size seems to be smaller and there are not so much convenience facilities such as Family mart. However, still, the service including room cleaning is perfect. And, overall, the room is quiet.
Staffs were helpful and generous. Room typically small as Japan has limited space. Breakfast is great. Location is great but you have to use stair from train...No elevator.... that's the tough part if you have big luggage. Price is reasonable, compared to Location and service...APA changed a lot after COVID-19, mostly in a good way. Keep making better
Well, nice hotel more facilities. Near to japan railway and subway
Was not a fan... could not sleep because of the terrible pillows and heater that would not turn off. Clean though.
Solid and good hotel for the price! The reason for three stars is that there were mold visible on fittings in the bathroom. Other then that the hotel is up to the Apa standard of well run, wonderfully staffed and easy to use living accommodations for normal working people visiting or doing their job in Osaka.
Small clean rooms great if you don't plan being in them long

Great location at low price. Rooms are small, but have every amenity, and are well maintained. Has a breakfast buffet restaurant and some sort of traditional sauna too. Staff is efficient, interaction is smooth, despite me speaking no Japanese, never had any awkward moment with them. Overall, I am happy, I was ready to trade the room space for the good price, and there is no downside to it. Location...
Located just the at mouth of Higobashi metro station, a busy & big hotel. Reception area was relatively small but was efficiently managed by well trained & attentive staffs. Room was very tiny for two but every space was cleverly utilized. It had almost all needed amenities & bed was comfortable. Bathroom was adequate & good though looked tiny too. We loved the food at their Artera restaurant but...
Personally, I was surprised to see the eco-friendly line on the bathtub! I thought it was a great example of environmental friendliness.
Besides the single room being really small(can't open my luggage unless on the bed) this hotel is amazing. Price, location(exit 3 from Higobashi station, literally right infront of it),room cleanliness, self check-in and checkout. Location is kinda in a business district, but you are not that far away from the top locations, and I prefer the less crowded stations overall.
It was comfortable! Thank you very much!!
For a single person the room can be considered enough if not intend to stay many hours in the hotel, the location is ok very convenient that the Blue meteo line is exactly outside the main entrance but the rest are falling short. For me was the cheapest option for the last minute trip and didn't mind the accomodation too much, but still it fell crowded and small.

Facilities: A bit old, and the bathtub is dated. Cleanliness: Decent, considering it's a major international brand. Ambiance: The decor is a bit old, even though it's been renovated. Service: Service was okay, standard procedures. Chinese-speaking staff were available.
The room was quite spacious and surprisingly quiet despite facing the street. The subway and airport bus stop right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get around to all the main shopping areas in Osaka. There's also a Kintetsu Department Store right by the station, and its basement supermarket and food section are fantastic – I found myself browsing there every day, and there were so many...
Booked for three nights, and the front desk staff quietly upgraded my room upon check-in, which was a nice surprise. The hotel's location is excellent, with a subway station and Kintetsu department store right downstairs. Plus, there's a shuttle bus to Kansai Airport for 1800 yen per person. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.
The room was quite small, and breakfast was just okay. The hotel has an 80s vibe. However, it's very convenient to get around, with everything you need for dining, shopping, and transportation close by. My only complaint is that they gave me a room at the very end of the hallway, so I had a long walk every time I went back to my room!
The environment here is really good, with complete facilities and reasonable amenities. It's incredibly convenient to stay right by the airport shuttle bus. Service: Very thoughtful. When I was looking for a place to eat, they enthusiastically gave me recommendations. Many thanks!
Hotel stay was truly sensational, especially experience with the New Year's buffet. The location proved to be so convenient for travels. Being close to the Kintetsu rail line and the metro would have made exploring the area a breeze. If you're visiting Universal Studios, Universal Tower Hotel is the top choice. No need to wake up early or worry about getting back late, the location is absolutely fantastic. There are tons of convenience stores downstairs, and all sorts of shops, including dining, entertainment, and cultural and creative outlets – you name it. The room types are very family-friendly, and there's even a handsome guy...
Right next to the subway exit, and it's a 10-minute walk to Universal Studios Japan. They offer complimentary welcome drinks in the afternoon. There's a paid public bath available, the room is spacious, and the bathroom is large with a separate wet and dry area.
The room was incredibly satisfying. The hotel is right outside the subway exit, situated on the commercial street leading to Universal Studios. There's also a convenience store downstairs. It gets really lively and bustling at night. It's super close to Universal Studios too; just a few hundred meters walk and you're at the queuing entrance. The room itself is spacious, and they offer a buffet breakfast...
The room was spacious and comfortable, and it's genuinely only 200 meters from Universal Studios. Shopping and dining options are also very convenient nearby. Highly recommend! 👍
The room was clean, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. The decor was all about the details, which was really lovely. Food and transportation were both convenient, right in Universal Town. I'll definitely stay here again next time.
The hotel's main advantages are its proximity to the train station and Universal Studios. Considering it was built in 2002, the facilities are quite good. The room is about 25 square meters, spacious enough to fully open a large suitcase, which is nice. My only personal issue, due to my slight潔癖 (germophobia), is that the housekeeping isn't perfect when it comes to hair – I often find a strand or two...

The hotel might not be brand new, but it's very clean and the service is excellent. It offers great value for money and the location is fantastic. It's super convenient for both the subway and bus. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time.
This is an established five-star hotel in the heart of Osaka, boasting an excellent location. Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line is right downstairs, and it's just a seven or eight-minute walk to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. Across the street, you'll find Parco and Daimaru department store. It's incredibly convenient for tourists looking to shop and dine!
Great location with food and shopping mall on both side American village is.just step away.
Perfect location, good amenities, and very friendly, helpful lobby team (assisting guests). The only downside was that the AC didn’t work properly on the first night, so the room was a bit cold. It was fixed the next day after I reported it. Another minor issue was some noisy neighbors (adults and kids) from early morning until late at night. Overall though, it was a good stay.
The location is excellent — directly connected to Shinsaibashi subway station, opposite Parco and Daimaru, with Amerikamura just behind the hotel. Very convenient for shopping and getting around. Service was good and housekeeping was reliable. Although the hotel is older, the room was well maintained and clean, which is expected in Japan. I would stay here again mainly for the location. One small...
As a well-established hotel, Nikko's baseline quality is inherently high. You can directly access the hotel elevator from Exit 8 of Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line, and a地下道 (underground passage) connects you to Daimaru and Parco. Excellent location with panoramic views of Osaka Bay! The room was spacious and offered fantastic scenery – I got to watch both the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, keeping everything spotless and comfortable. Plus, it was super convenient for getting around!
The room was great, with a fantastic view of Osaka Bay. Breakfast, however, was just average.
The hotel is quite large, but they don't even offer coffee, and you have to queue for breakfast. The water pressure is very low. It's advertised as being close to the hot springs, but you still have to walk a bit to get there; it's not actually on the hotel grounds. Also, when you return to the hotel after 8 PM, all the shops in the mall are already closed.
Nice place to stay with special price to Onsem . Three stop to USJ . Basement got Daiso and big supermarket. Around got many restaurants and shops.
This hotel is truly a king of value for money! The environment, location, and service are all fantastic. We were especially impressed by the daily housekeeping details. If anyone I know is planning a trip to Osaka, the first place I'll recommend them to stay is definitely this hotel.
Stayed on the 49th floor... The view in the morning and the city lights at night... Wow, truly unforgettable. The room was spacious and clean. It's super convenient as there are subway stations just a few minutes' walk away. Downstairs, there's a Family Mart, a pharmacy, fast food joints, and a large hot spring (which costs extra). This is a classic old Japanese hotel. As soon as I entered, someone helped me with my luggage. For this price, having breakfast included is a really good deal. I used the computers in the executive lounge to print some documents for work. Although the interior design is a bit older, the TV can cast, so it was perfectly fine to stay there. The service attitude was also great; as soon as a staff member...
Really recommend this hotel, just walk across the road to Osaka castle. A lot of convinence stores nearby,Starbucks,Mc Donals and Metro staton,JR station. Breakfast is great with western and Japanese style. The staff were super helpful. Good vibe
The facilities are old, and not well-maintained either. I wiped the nightstand casually and a thick yellow stain came off! I booked a room with a view of Osaka Castle, but after searching for a long time, I found out I had to crane my neck 90 degrees to see it 👀. The room was spacious, I guess that's the only good thing.
Initially not my first choice but glad I did change. The best hotel I must say in Osaka. There are several restaurants in the hotel and they served good breakfast. The size of the room is huge compared to the Japan standard, five star! Our room has the best view of Osaka castle, If only I can stay the longest.
The hotel room was quite spacious for Japanese standards, and it was a convenient walk to the subway station. The TV in the room wasn't directly facing the bed, but rather the sofa side. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and I'd recommend it for travelers. The cleanliness was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were very smooth. They even deliver all your luggage to your room...
Very good bargain for this famous Jap branding hotel. Room was big enough for two luggages and movement, just personally think the lights were little bit dim making the room not bright enough. It’s a traditional hotel so looks a bit old style but I am ok with it. Super convenient location, and ¥1200 for 24 hours parking was one of the biggest reason I chose this hotel.

This hotel is conveniently located in the Umeda business district, right next to Osaka Station, offering beautiful night views. During the day, you can walk to Nakanoshima, and if you're up for it, even to Osaka Castle. The rooms are spacious and clean, meeting Hilton's usual high standards.
Coming from Tokyo, I thought I had the Shinkansen system down, but Osaka Station definitely taught me a lesson! I got lost as soon as I exited the subway, and we only found the hotel because my husband could read the map. Very convenience location for shopping the place have a very nice high rised view of the Osaka city
The location is great in the city center can walk 5 mins to namba. The room size is quite big compare ton other hotel in Japan. The best thing is onsen on the skybar!! Imaging after walk the whole day and you can relax in onsen!! Will come back to this plac
I checked out from candeo wakayama amd checked into candeo namba. Similarity.. the rooms were huge. Buttt the cleaning wasnt good! There were stains on the sofa. Housekeeping wasnt thorough. Somedays dirty towels that were put aside wasnt picked up. Even rubbish was not cleared! What a difference when compared with my previous stay.
The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and had everything I needed. The large public bath on the top floor has two big pools, one indoor and one outdoor. After a long day of walking, my legs were shot, so a soak in the evening felt absolutely amazing.
The main draw is really the convenient location. Other than that, it feels pretty standard for the price. Given the location and price point, there's nothing bad to say. Luggage storage was easy, and the air conditioning worked great.

On our first day, our room was right next to the elevator and a bit noisy, but the hotel promptly arranged a suite further away from the elevator for us on the second day. Room service and breakfast were both good.
Parking fee charged ¥2000 is reasonable. We love the view in room and the big lobby. Staffs in the front desk and front door are polite and nice. We will stay in this hotel when we come to visit Osaka next time.
This is a hotel I've stayed at multiple times. I just completed another five-day stay. I really appreciate that the hotel always reserves the same room for me. As always, the service was excellent, and the breakfast each morning was delicious with very fresh ingredients, truly reflecting the high quality of a '御三家' (top-tier) establishment. I look forward to returning again soon.

Considering Japanese standards, the room size was quite good. We could comfortably open both a 28-inch and a 20-inch suitcase after shifting the table and chairs. Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
This hotel is one of the best mid-price hotel we ever lived in Japan. You get to choose your own pillow, enjoy the free-flow drink bar as well as the onsen with the hotel. The room is decently clean, nothing to complaint about!
## Hygiene and Service: The hotel has a policy that guests must put out a 'clean my room' sign before 10 AM each day for full housekeeping. Otherwise, only towels and trash bags will be replaced. Even with full cleaning, it's just a basic tidying up; linens and pillowcases are not changed. ## Location: It's a bit far from Osaka JR Station, but you can get there directly via bus #88. There's a convenience...
Fantastic! Clean, tidy, and beautiful 🤩. The hot springs were also super comfortable. Thumbs up! I'll definitely come back again. It's also very close to all the attractions.
This hotel is really nice with its natural hot spring and free flow drinks available from vending machines. Location is not too bad, near train station and bus stops.
An absolutely wonderful Japanese hotel experience. The lovely lady at the front desk, who spoke Chinese, kindly explained how to use all the hotel facilities. The onsen (hot spring) was definitely the biggest highlight; a soak in the evening really helped to relieve the day's fatigue. The ladies' room was especially thoughtful, equipped with a vanity mirror and a curling iron. It was very quiet, and...
The room was small but very clean and well-equipped. You can pick up toiletries you need, as well as nutritional supplements and face masks, from the lobby. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store downstairs, and the service was excellent. Every day, they'd give us a spa code so we could use the hot spring anytime. The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the subway, but it's great if...

I stayed at Hotel Monterey La Soeur Osaka and absolutely loved it. The hotel has a beautiful, slightly European Art Deco style and feels elegant from the moment you walk into the lobby. My room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the city. Location is excellent – just a short walk to Osaka Business Park and within easy distance of Osaka Castle, so it’s...
This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Japan in terms of value for money, and I've been here four times. While it has some common issues with older hotels, like limited power outlets and dated bedding, these are minor flaws compared to its overall excellent qualities. The location is about 500-600 meters from both the train and subway stations. For this price range in Japan, the room is surprisingly...
Great service, convenient location, nice people Would highly recommend to everyone
The standards were suitable, and even with the price increase during the Expo, it wasn't excessive. It's an established hotel with a friendly and patient front desk. The location is convenient, with a convenience store right downstairs and a food street nearby. It's perfect for business trips.
Amazing stay!!! Room was amazing and it was so clean. Service was excellent too
"Hotel Monterey La Soeur Osaka is a fantastic choice! With an impressive 8.3/10 rating on Agoda and 4/5 on Tripadvisor, this hotel consistently impresses guests with its exceptional staff, well-appointed facilities, and comfortable stay. Located in the heart of Chuo, Osaka, it's close to popular landmarks like Grand Front Osaka and Osaka Castle. The hotel's amenities, including a restaurant, spa center...

This hotel gives the basic comforts we need for a trip to Osaka, with confortable rooms that has a japanese style to it. The evening drinks and late night ramen is a welcomed service offered by the hotel, especially after a long day of sightseeing. Location is quite good, where its near a supermarket and a subway station. Its also very near to Shinsekai.
Wonderful place for families. Lots of activities and free food. Amazing onsen which is not crowded. Room is spacious and clean. Will surely stay again when I visit osaka.
Hotel is located next to the metro station, it is very convenient to get around the city. On top of that, there are ramen served every night.
First off, the location is absolutely fantastic! It's literally a 1-minute walk from the subway exit, super convenient. Plus, Tsutenkaku is right next door, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. The hotel's cleanliness is excellent, and the hot springs are a free bonus!
Amazing hotel with amazing amenities like Onsen spa included in the price plus free ramen and beer also there is sky garden with beautiful views! Great deal!
The hotel is accessible by subway, but you'll need to transfer if you're coming from the airport. They offer complimentary drinks starting in the afternoon, and free ramen at 9 PM. There's a hot spring bath in the building across the street, and a free massage chair on the first floor, though it's often occupied. A large supermarket is just a right turn from the exit. The room size is typical for Japan
