The room was very clean and tidy, and quite spacious. The design was thoughtful, and I especially loved the waterfall in the lobby. Sitting in the lobby bar, sipping a black tea with wagashi, was incredibly comfortable
The hotel's location is also great, with a 7-Eleven and restaurants right downstairs on B1 – perfect for snacks and meals. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful
It is a newly renovated hotel with long history. There are shops, restaurants and 7-11 within the hotel. There are science museum, art museum in walking distance and convention centre next door
My stay at the Royal Hotel was excellent. The highlight was the complimentary shuttle bus to Osaka city, which ran every 15 minutes and made getting around incredibly convenient
You'll need to transfer to another station, and it's an outside transfer, to reach popular areas. However, the hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to Umeda Station
The hotel was very clean, the staff were polite, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the price I booked through Ctrip was not high

(Hankyu series) It is close to Osaka station but far from the ticket counters. This is inevitable because it is the largest station in western Japan, Osaka (Umeda station)
Superb location, right beside JR Osaka station. Supermarket is at B1 floor, very convenient. Facility is nice and clean. For sure will book again.
The room is a bit small but the soundproofing is good. You can use your hotel room card to go directly to the supermarket downstairs
I wouldn't recommend the hotel breakfast, though; there isn't much variety, no omelets, and the serving area gets very crowded
(Is it far if you make a mistake at the ticket counter?) I went to look for the sign for Grand Front or LUCUA. On the 2nd floor of Osaka station, take the connecting passage towards Yodobashi and they will tell you
Check-in and check-out are done via self-service machines, which is very friendly for tourists who don't speak Japanese

Staffs were helpful and generous. Room typically small as Japan has limited space. Location is great but you have to use stair from train. that's the tough part if you have big luggage
Price is reasonable, compared to Location and service. APA changed a lot after COVID-19, mostly in a good way
Well, nice hotel more facilities. Near to japan railway and subway
Conpared to that, the room size seems to be smaller and there are not so much convenience facilities such as Family mart. However, still, the service including room cleaning is perfect. And, overall, the room is quiet
A decent city hotel located near to Honmachi stn. It's easy to confuse with Honmachi Eki-Mae 「Tower」, which is more taller and more popular to foreigners
Small clean rooms great if you don't plan being in them long

It really doesn't get much more convenient then this place. The train station is literally right outside the hotel and everything is pretty close. The restaurant on the 30th floor is also tasty. Highly recommend!
Rooms are small, but have every amenity, and are well maintained. Has a breakfast buffet restaurant and some sort of traditional sauna too
Of all the accommodations I stayed at during this trip, this one is the most memorable. It had a bathroom and everything you need. Very good.
Overall, I am happy, I was ready to trade the room space for the good price, and there is no downside to it. Location, location, location!
Staff is efficient, interaction is smooth, despite me speaking no Japanese, never had any awkward moment with them
Personally, I was surprised to see the eco-friendly line on the bathtub! I thought it was a great example of environmental friendliness.

Excellent location in the Umeda district. Right downstairs, you have JR, Umeda Department Store – everything is super convenient. The room was very clean, and the soundproofing was excellent
Plus, there's a large bus service nearby that goes to Kansai Airport, costing 1800 JPY for adults and 900 JPY for children, making it especially suitable for families with kids
I used it during my first trip to Osaka. Since it was my first visit, I thought it would be convenient to connect directly to the station, so I used it, but everything was as expected
Room is clean and the hotel location is perfect! Service was very good and prompt too. Excellent hotel and I would definitely recommend everyone visiting Osaka!
You can't really compare it to hotels in China at the same price point, but compared to other Japanese hotels, the 25-square-meter twin room is quite spacious – big enough to open two large suitcases, and the twin beds can even be pushed together to make a king size
The staff would ask about our preferred cleaning time and even provided useful skincare products. We accidentally left something behind in the hotel, and the front desk kept it safe for us to pick up the next day

Great location, close to metro station and dotonbori. Staffs are helpful. The room was small but functional, extension cords are available which is very convenient. The corridor smells of cigarettes but not in the room.
Location very good next to Dotonbori, and very near to Nippombashi metro. Nearby got kombini, drugstore as well. Downside is can be a bit noisy and waiting long for lift as there are many travellers in this hotel
They provide a luggage tag number, which makes the process secure and easy. Although the room is small (typical for Japan), it is well-equipped with complete amenities and everything is functional
Traveling to Nara is very convenient as there’s no need to change trains, and Namba Station is also within walking distance. After check-out, guests can still store their luggage at the hotel
The staff are very friendly, helpful, and always greet guests with a smile. Overall, this hotel is great value for money with an excellent location and service
Highly recommended for anyone staying in Osaka, especially around the Namba area

Service was great, was able to deposit personal belongings and also to accept luggage delivery. In the room, bottles of water provided per pax and comes w kettle, charging pods, mini fridge etc
Typical small room as Japanese style.
Superb location to Umeda station especially the Airport limousine bus.
Will be closed in Jan 2025.
We liked a lot the location - close to all the shops you might need. Our room was quiet small, for two beds and two futons. We enjoed our stay especially because of the breakfast
Old school hotel with everything you need. But its closing down. But there are other branches for booking around Osaka.
A wade range of dishes including vegetables, meats, fruits. A bit japanese style, a bit european style
Golden area of Umeda station. Bearby alsoOsaka station. Many shopping centers and resturaunts around.

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL! Very clean and all staff amazing, especially Quyen who kindly did our check in and was polite and helpful. Did not need room cleaning as only stayed 2 days but room was clean and had everything needed
Excellent location, very close to Jusan (Juso) subway station, making it easy to get to Umeda. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, so it's not noisy at night. There are also many restaurants nearby
Best hotel that I have stayed in Osaka. However, the closest JR station is about 8 mins walk. Other than that, everything else is good. BTW, the price on Saturdays is like 2-3 times more than weekdays
The hotel is much larger than other hotels. Nice and clean. The front desk staff can speak some English. The room is comparatively larger than other hotels', too. Highly recommend.
The room's soundproofing was so good I couldn't hear any noise 🤫, and waking up to the morning sun was incredibly refreshing 🌞. Checkout was super fast, no long waits ⌛
About 10minutes walk from Juso station (Hankyu Line) Exit West gate, there are a lot of restaurants nearby Juso station. There are convenience stores near to Hotel

The hotel is just right next to the Universal Studio Japan. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel's parking cost 3,500 yen per day for in house guest
Outside parking which is 5 mins walk from the hotel cost cheaper
The room types are very family-friendly, and there's even a handsome guy from Hong Kong at the front desk who speaks Chinese! The experience was just as amazing as Universal Studios itself, offering incredible value
The room itself is spacious, and they offer a buffet breakfast and afternoon tea. The room service was excellent. You can even enjoy the night view right from your bed through the large glass window
The room was clean, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. The decor was all about the details, which was really lovely. Food and transportation were both convenient, right in Universal Town
Just a few minutes away from the Universal Studios entrance. Very Convenient to the train services to Osaka Central. There are kiosk or staff event to access to Shinkansen amending services

The service was excellent; a staff member helped carry my luggage to the room upon check-in, and they assisted with luggage to the airport bus when I checked out. There was seamless Chinese-speaking service
The hotel might not be brand new, but it's very clean and the service is excellent. It offers great value for money and the location is fantastic. It's super convenient for both the subway and bus
I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time
This is an established five-star hotel in the heart of Osaka, boasting an excellent location
When I arrived earlier (around 1pm), I was stopped before I reach the reception counter, and asked to leave my luggage first and come back later, which was a bit unexpected, but understandable given hotel policies
Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line is right downstairs, and it's just a seven or eight-minute walk to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. Across the street, you'll find Parco and Daimaru department store

We arrived too early to check-in but staff were super accommodating and held our luggage until we were able to check-in, so that we didn't have to carry suit cases around while killing time and exploring the sights
It works great if you just need a quick place to sleep. Cons:
▪︎ no ability to control room temperature if you need it a little cooler. (You can open the window slightly but trains and people outside can be heard)
The service was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially when transferring luggage to another hotel. The rooms are small, but the location is very close to the train station
Rooms are pretty tight for space, so don't expect to sprawl out here. We were out most of the day so it was really a place to rest. It's location was awesome, to reach the major train station
Has two entry/exits so that was helpful for cutting down the commute to walk to the train station. Plenty of restaurants nearby if you don't feel like dining at their on-site restaurant
Washing and drying facilities were great, just need to make sure you have coins

Booked for three nights, and the front desk staff quietly upgraded my room upon check-in, which was a nice surprise. The hotel's location is excellent, with a subway station and Kintetsu department store right downstairs
The room was quite spacious and surprisingly quiet despite facing the street. The subway and airport bus stop right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get around to all the main shopping areas in Osaka
Hotel is conveniently located with a variety of nearby shops to explore; essential amenities like chemists, a popular variety store Daiso, and supermarkets such as Harves and Aeon within easy reach
The room was quite small, and breakfast was just okay. However, it's very convenient to get around, with everything you need for dining, shopping, and transportation close by
The environment here is really good, with complete facilities and reasonable amenities. It's incredibly convenient to stay right by the airport shuttle bus

Our stay in the hotel was the BEST! We booked 2 nights for the holidays and it was the best decision ever! Very convenient to access the trains and USJ. Love the bay access and also we got the room with a view of usj
The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was super convenient to walk to Universal Studios. The pier downstairs offers a 10-minute boat ride to the aquarium, which is much faster than any other transport option
The sea-view room was beautiful! The front desk staff, especially the handsome guy, was very friendly and polite. I'll definitely stay there again next time I visit Universal Studios. ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
The room was quite spacious, and I especially loved the bathroom – very clean and comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent too. If I get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely stay here!
So close to Universal Studios, super convenient! There's a convenience store nearby, and the breakfast spread is great. Overall, a fantastic experience

I'd highly recommend taking a taxi if it's your first time in Umeda and heading to this hotel!
However, once we got our bearings, we realized the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Osaka Station is just 200 meters across the street! Hankyu Station and Umeda Station are also nearby
Within 500 meters, you'll find the Umeda shopping district: Hankyu Department Store, LUCUA, LUCUA 1100, Daimaru Department Store, Yodobashi Camera, and Hankyu Sanbangai are all in the vicinity – a shopper's paradise! The best part is the time-saving aspect; if you buy too much to carry, you can just drop it off at the hotel and head out again – plenty of time, haha
Coming from Tokyo, I thought I had the Shinkansen system down, but Osaka Station definitely taught me a lesson! I got lost as soon as I exited the subway, and we only found the hotel because my husband could read the map
This hotel is conveniently located in the Umeda business district, right next to Osaka Station, offering beautiful night views. During the day, you can walk to Nakanoshima, and if you're up for it, even to Osaka Castle
**Accommodation:** Since the price is a bit higher than the Shinsaibashi area, the rooms are also larger. This is the biggest hotel room I've stayed in Japan, and the accommodation was excellent and very clean
The room size was just right, and the cleanliness was excellent. The location is convenient, within walking distance to Osaka Station and Umeda subway station. The value for money is decent.

I've read some reviews stating that the hotel is dirty, but we went here a couple years back and now and both times were very clean! The view was very nice, although we had the room with the view that we had not wanted
When we visit Osaka, we often choose the Swissôtel Nankai. It's a bit pricey, but you're paying for unparalleled convenience – everything from transport to shopping and dining is right at your doorstep
The front desk staff arranged for a room with an amazing view. The floor attendants were attentive and thoughtful. When it rained, the bell staff didn't hesitate to lend us an umbrella
Hotel is located at Namba station at 6F, easy to get around and save time to walk around in the cold winter day. Room is big and with simple toiletries (environmental friendly)
Despite that, it will likely still be our top choice for our next trip to Osaka. We hope it continues to improve!

Really recommend this hotel, just walk across the road to Osaka castle. A lot of convinence stores nearby,Starbucks,Mc Donals and Metro staton,JR station. Breakfast is great with western and Japanese style
The service attitude was also great; as soon as a staff member saw me holding my luggage tag, they immediately came over to assist. The staff at breakfast were very enthusiastic when I went around 7 AM
By 8:50 AM, there was already a queue, so I recommend going early. I only had time to stay one night for this business trip, but I'll definitely come back for a longer stay next time
Room was very spacial and comfortable. Extremely convenient for guests attending event at Osaka-Jo Hall. Had room service takoyaki was delicious. Staff services were very thorough when checking in, from counter to room.
This is a classic old Japanese hotel. As soon as I entered, someone helped me with my luggage. For this price, having breakfast included is a really good deal
It’s a traditional hotel so looks a bit old style but I am ok with it. Super convenient location, and ¥1200 for 24 hours parking was one of the biggest reason I chose this hotel

If you're a light sleeper, you should definitely reconsider. The resonance and vibration from passing trains are much stronger than the 'whooshing' sound of cars on a road or elevated highway
The room was a bit larger than I expected, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It was also very quiet, making for an overall good experience. The front desk service was excellent and very professional
Hotel location is good - near major transport hubs. Service staff helpful & attentive. Negative is Aircon/heater centrally controlled- so we were unable to control the temperature in our room
The hotel is very close to Osaka Station, just a 5-minute walk. They provide amenities like toner, lotion, facial cleanser, and makeup remover, so you don't need to bring your own

From there, we looked for Exit 18 of the Keihan Line, went up to ground level, spotted a 7-Eleven, and the hotel was right there. This area has a lot of office buildings, so it was quite quiet
The front desk staff guided us through the self check-in process. We then picked up the disposable amenities we needed, such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, facial cleanser, and lotion
Our first stop in Japan was Osaka, and we stayed at the Keihan Hotel Yodoyabashi – it was excellent and highly recommended!

After exiting the station, we found the Midosuji Line and took it one stop towards Minoh to Yodoyabashi
