RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka, Vignette Collection by IHG, Osaka1 / 30
8.8
Osaka, 5-3-68 Nakanoshima, Kita-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We were upgraded to a suite, which was a pleasant surprise given how spacious it was – quite rare for Japan. It's an older five-star hotel with a free shuttle service to the city center and it's right next to a subway station. The river in front of the hotel offers a nice view too. If you walk about 700-800 meters, you'll find plenty of great food options, especially a noodle shop that's ranked second...
The hotel was very clean, the staff were polite, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the price I booked through Ctrip was not high. This was the most satisfying hotel of my trip to Japan.
The room was very clean and tidy, and quite spacious. The design was thoughtful, and I especially loved the waterfall in the lobby. Sitting in the lobby bar, sipping a black tea with wagashi, was incredibly comfortable. The environment was quiet and elegant, and the breakfast was also excellent.
It's disappointing that such a large hotel doesn't have a sauna.
It is a newly renovated hotel with long history. There are shops, restaurants and 7-11 within the hotel. There are science museum, art museum in walking distance and convention centre next door. There is a train station just under the hotel but it is a remote line and hardly linked to the main lines. Good thing is that there are free shuttle buses every 10-15 mins to Osaka JR station for about 15 mins...
The hotel's facilities are decent, a bit dated but well-maintained. It's right above a subway station, but it's on a less central line. You'll need to transfer to another station, and it's an outside transfer, to reach popular areas. However, the hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to Umeda Station.

Hotel Nikko, Osaka1 / 30
8.8
Osaka, 1 Chome-3-3 Nishishinsaibashi, Chuo, Chuo Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel might not be brand new, but it's very clean and the service is excellent. It offers great value for money and the location is fantastic. It's super convenient for both the subway and bus. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time.
This is an established five-star hotel in the heart of Osaka, boasting an excellent location. Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line is right downstairs, and it's just a seven or eight-minute walk to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. Across the street, you'll find Parco and Daimaru department store. It's incredibly convenient for tourists looking to shop and dine!
Great location with food and shopping mall on both side American village is.just step away.
Perfect location, good amenities, and very friendly, helpful lobby team (assisting guests). The only downside was that the AC didn’t work properly on the first night, so the room was a bit cold. It was fixed the next day after I reported it. Another minor issue was some noisy neighbors (adults and kids) from early morning until late at night. Overall though, it was a good stay.
The location is excellent — directly connected to Shinsaibashi subway station, opposite Parco and Daimaru, with Amerikamura just behind the hotel. Very convenient for shopping and getting around. Service was good and housekeeping was reliable. Although the hotel is older, the room was well maintained and clean, which is expected in Japan. I would stay here again mainly for the location. One small...
As a well-established hotel, Nikko's baseline quality is inherently high. You can directly access the hotel elevator from Exit 8 of Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line, and a地下道 (underground passage) connects you to Daimaru and Parco. It's truly in the most convenient location in central Osaka. Dotonbori, Orange Street, Namba, and other popular areas are all just about a 10-minute walk away,...

Osaka, 8-8, Umeda 1-chome (in the centre) 🧭 Map
A very nice hotel with excellent transportation links.
Great, very good, and spacious.
This hotel is conveniently located in the Umeda business district, right next to Osaka Station, offering beautiful night views. During the day, you can walk to Nakanoshima, and if you're up for it, even to Osaka Castle. The rooms are spacious and clean, meeting Hilton's usual high standards.
Coming from Tokyo, I thought I had the Shinkansen system down, but Osaka Station definitely taught me a lesson! I got lost as soon as I exited the subway, and we only found the hotel because my husband could read the map. I'd highly recommend taking a taxi if it's your first time in Umeda and heading to this hotel! However, once we got our bearings, we realized the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic...
The room size was just right, and the cleanliness was excellent. The location is convenient, within walking distance to Osaka Station and Umeda subway station. The value for money is decent.
A standard Hilton, its main advantage is the location with five or six large shopping malls nearby, perfect for those who love to shop.

Osaka, 5-1-60 Namba Chuo-ku (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
When we visit Osaka, we often choose the Swissôtel Nankai. It's a bit pricey, but you're paying for unparalleled convenience – everything from transport to shopping and dining is right at your doorstep. The front desk staff arranged for a room with an amazing view. The floor attendants were attentive and thoughtful. When it rained, the bell staff didn't hesitate to lend us an umbrella. The Teppanyaki...
very good location. large shopping mall with many kinds of restaurants just downstairs. room size is ok. will come again.
1. The rubbish bin is one tiny one which we can’t dispose our rubbish in. And there’s no trash bag in the bin.  2. The room is very dusty whenever the housekeeping clean the room. That shows it is not clean enough. 3. Reception counter - ********, *****, ******* and a local ******** lady staff provide excellent service. Besides them, there’s a male staff (looks like ***** or ******* ***********) avoid...
Staying here for three consecutive nights was an amazing experience! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right next to a shopping district, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. Hotel New Otani Osaka, Osaka1 / 25
8.9
Osaka, 1-4-1 Shiromi Chuo-ku (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
This is a classic old Japanese hotel. As soon as I entered, someone helped me with my luggage. For this price, having breakfast included is a really good deal. I used the computers in the executive lounge to print some documents for work. Although the interior design is a bit older, the TV can cast, so it was perfectly fine to stay there. The service attitude was also great; as soon as a staff member...
Really recommend this hotel, just walk across the road to Osaka castle. A lot of convinence stores nearby,Starbucks,Mc Donals and Metro staton,JR station. Breakfast is great with western and Japanese style. The staff were super helpful. Good vibe
The facilities are old, and not well-maintained either. I wiped the nightstand casually and a thick yellow stain came off! I booked a room with a view of Osaka Castle, but after searching for a long time, I found out I had to crane my neck 90 degrees to see it 👀. The room was spacious, I guess that's the only good thing.
Initially not my first choice but glad I did change. The best hotel I must say in Osaka. There are several restaurants in the hotel and they served good breakfast. The size of the room is huge compared to the Japan standard, five star! Our room has the best view of Osaka castle, If only I can stay the longest.
The hotel room was quite spacious for Japanese standards, and it was a convenient walk to the subway station. The TV in the room wasn't directly facing the bed, but rather the sofa side. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and I'd recommend it for travelers. The cleanliness was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were very smooth. They even deliver all your luggage to your room...
Very good bargain for this famous Jap branding hotel. Room was big enough for two luggages and movement, just personally think the lights were little bit dim making the room not bright enough. It’s a traditional hotel so looks a bit old style but I am ok with it. Super convenient location, and ¥1200 for 24 hours parking was one of the biggest reason I chose this hotel.

Osaka, 8-50, Temmabashi 1-Chome, Kita-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This is an impressive hotel with excellent facilities and service. Although it's a bit far from the commercial district, the hotel shuttle bus is very convenient. On our first day, our room was right next to the elevator and a bit noisy, but the hotel promptly arranged a suite further away from the elevator for us on the second day. Room service and breakfast were both good.
Parking fee charged ¥2000 is reasonable. We love the view in room and the big lobby. Staffs in the front desk and front door are polite and nice. We will stay in this hotel when we come to visit Osaka next time.
This is a hotel I've stayed at multiple times. I just completed another five-day stay. I really appreciate that the hotel always reserves the same room for me. As always, the service was excellent, and the breakfast each morning was delicious with very fresh ingredients, truly reflecting the high quality of a '御三家' (top-tier) establishment. I look forward to returning again soon.
The room was spotless, and the river-view room offered a stunning panorama, even in winter it was breathtaking. There are plenty of shops to explore nearby, along with many local eateries. You can sit downstairs, enjoy the scenery, and soak up the sun. I'm planning to return in the spring!
Location: 4.5/5 A bit out of the way, but there's a shuttle every 20 minutes from the Osaka train station, which is very convenient. Common Areas: 5/5 I really love this kind of understated 'old money' aesthetic – not flashy, but full of character. Room: 4/5 You can tell it's a bit older, but it has everything you need. The toiletries are from Pola, and the hot water pressure is excellent. Service...
Better than the reviews.  Room was incredibly large and the beds so comfortable. Every items you would need were available in the bathroom. The view of the river was incredible. You can walk along the river path to the Castle. The free shuttle bus is very handy. The staff are amazing.

Osaka, 1-1-43 Abeno-suji, Abeno-ku (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This is my second time staying here, and they even gave me tickets to the observation deck upstairs! The hotel is still incredibly well-maintained after all these years – the room was spotless. I'm very familiar with this location; Ichiran Ramen is right downstairs.
The views, day and night, are absolutely unbeatable! Breakfast was good too. The Kintetsu Department Store right downstairs, as well as the surrounding Abeno shopping street and Q's Mall, are fantastic for browsing. Plus, it's really close to the subway station, making transportation super convenient.
service is excellent and the view is amazing. had a great time here and wish i stayed longer
Everthing about the hotel is fantastic except the breakfast which is very mediocre. The location has access to a few train lines besides being the 1st stop from Kaisai Airport on Haruku line. Below hotel has 3 floors of restaurants and a departmental store with supermarket. The hotel room has great view of Osaka city from morning to night.
The subway station and a shopping mall are right downstairs, making it super convenient to get around. You can even drop off your purchases in your room and continue shopping! The high floor offers a beautiful night view, and the lobby also has a nice outlook.
Marriott Miyako has became my go-to hotel when I visit Osaka due to the convenient location, hardware has always been wonderful and front desk staffs are always welcoming and polite, breakfast is pretty good with different main dish (eggs) everyday However, I did not have a good experience this time at restaurant ZK, its my third time having teppanyaki there, but this time the chef seems not happy...

Very central location, you can get to any of the main areas in at most 3 stops on the metro! (10-15 mins) The rooms were nice, but a bit cramped. Also, loved that there was a 7-11 just under the building, super convenient...
🌟 **Stunning High-Altitude Views, Osaka's Nightscape at Your Fingertips** The biggest selling point of this hotel is undoubtedly its high-rise location! The room was great, and the location was excellent – very close to Namba and Shinsaibashi. There are tons of shopping areas nearby, making dining and shopping super convenient. The staff had a great service attitude, and the breakfast was very rich. Definitely recommended!
Upon entering the hotel, the staff warmly welcomed us and helped us check in. The overall impression was great, and the room was very clean. Although there was a bit of a language barrier, the front desk staff used pictures to communicate with us, which was a very thoughtful touch. This hotel is located in Yodoyabashi, just one subway stop away from Umeda, making it incredibly convenient. The hotel facilities are excellent. The lobby on the 15th floor offers expansive views, almost like a sky garden. The room itself is a bit small, and there isn't enough space to fully open a suitcase.
Great hotel, excellent location with easy access to transportation. The rooms are well-equipped, and they even provide pajamas every night. I'll definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, stylish, with a great view from the upper floors. But the service is incredibly slow—both at check-in and at breakfast (there's a line there, actually).
Awesome stay the staffs are so nice!
I originally booked a W Suite and arrived at 12 PM hoping to secure a high-floor room, but was only given the 8th floor. So, I paid more to upgrade to a Marvelous Suite. Honestly, the hardware facilities are excellent, but! If you want to experience differential treatment, this W is the place to be. First, someone else's laundry was mistakenly delivered to our suite. The ambiance is good, it feels a bit like a KTV.
Cool design, we stayed in a room with a city view. The cleaning is good, and the breakfast includes eggs, cheese, bread, and fruit. There is a large and stylish swimming pool, a sauna, and a gym.

Osaka, 1-1-20 Oyodonaka, Kita Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
After comparing several hotels for this trip to Japan, I ultimately chose The Westin, and overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay. The twin room I booked had spacious beds, and there are multiple shopping malls conveniently located near the hotel, making dining and shopping very accessible. Highly recommended!
After a long search, I finally settled on The Westin, an established hotel that was renovated last year. Location: It's a 6-7 minute walk from Osaka Station, which is both convenient and peaceful, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Cleanliness: There's really nothing to complain about when it comes to cleanliness in Japanese hotels. Facilities: The room was spacious enough, which was my favorite...
The room was spacious and the hygiene was good. The hotel isn't very large but it's well-designed and chic. The shuttle bus service ends a bit early, but otherwise, everything else was pretty good. The hotel is a little bit of a walk from Osaka Station, but it's a pleasant stroll after dinner.
The main selling point is the spacious room – plenty of space for luggage!
I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time; it's honestly one of the most comfortable hotels I've stayed in recently. The location is excellent: The hotel is in the city center with incredibly convenient transportation. It's just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, making it easy to get to all the major attractions and shopping areas. Even though it's in a bustling area, the soundproofing...

The housekeeping is so perfect. Our rooms are so clean everyday .
The service was very attentive, and the location was quite convenient.
Conveniently located near Osaka Umeda Station, this established 5-star hotel offers well-managed services. The high-floor corner rooms are spacious and provide expansive views.
This hotel is great! The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get everywhere. It's also incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. They even left chocolates for us, and the staff were all very friendly.
Although the room was small, it was very comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. The hotel front desk staff were great and had no problem communicating in English. Room service food was also delicious, but the Chinese restaurant was quite mediocre.
The hotel's location is convenient, about 1km from the commercial center's Daimaru and Hankyu department stores, and around 600m from the subway station. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the staff are enthusiastic. Breakfast is well-organized with orderly queuing, though the variety of dishes is just average.

Osaka, 3-60, Ofuka-cho Kita-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel isn't right in the heart of Umeda, but on the upside, it's much quieter. It's about a 10-minute walk to Hankyu and a 15-minute walk to Hanshin, which is totally acceptable. The room was really spacious for Osaka standards, and we had a very comfortable stay. There's also an amazing yakitori place nearby called Matsuri that's a must-try!
The InterContinental Osaka is, without a doubt, the best hotel I've ever stayed in when it comes to service. The housekeeping is virtually perfect; even the toiletries and skincare products on the bathroom counter are artfully arranged. The hotel's location is excellent – you step right out and start shopping. Plus, the rooms are incredibly spacious. A huge thumbs up!
Great location, and the room had a fantastic view and was very spacious. It's hard to find such a large room in Osaka, so I'm very satisfied.
The hotel's location is excellent, with great transportation links to all areas, making it convenient to get anywhere. The room is also very spacious, especially for Japan. However, the breakfast was just average and not very varied. Overall, it was decent, and I would consider staying at the Intercontinental again if the price is right next time.
Excellent stay! The room was very spacious, and the facilities and service were consistently up to InterContinental standards. I’m a usual customer of Regis Osaka, thanks to its excellent service from the moment that I enter the premise. The friendly, helpful and thoughtful front office and concierge staffs differentiate the Regis brand ! Champagne sabering daily is a highlight!
Location is great. Within walking distance to train station and many places of interests. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Polite staff and impeccable service. Valet parking is 3500 JPY per day and you don't need to worry about anything else.
The service crews were top notched. The room was clean and smell good. Toilet was a little old and some doors are light and should build in soft closing. I could door banging noise beside my room. Their additional complimentary services, such as iron pressing was great. Breakfast spread was good and fulfilling too.
