The location is perfect. The room is a bit small but the soundproofing is good. You can use your hotel room card to go directly to the supermarket downstairs. Check-in and check-out are done via self-service machines, which is very friendly for tourists who don't speak Japanese.

The location is great; you don't even have to leave the building to visit all the places you want, and there's a supermarket on the basement level. I wouldn't recommend the hotel breakfast, though; there isn't much variety, no omelets, and the serving area gets very crowded.

The location is fantastic, super convenient for getting to any attraction or city. Shopping is a breeze with pharmacies, malls, and supermarkets everywhere. Plus, there's a direct airport shuttle to both Kansai Airport and Itami Airport. Dining is also incredibly easy; the 8th floor downstairs has all sorts of delicious food options, and you can even pay directly with WeChat Pay.

The room was a bit small, but the location is incredibly convenient for getting around and exploring! It's easy to reach the hotel from the B1 food hall of Daimaru Department Store. Plus, there's a large bus service nearby that goes to Kansai Airport, costing 1800 JPY for adults and 900 JPY for children, making it especially suitable for families with kids.

Coming from Kobe to Osaka Umeda, the hotel is conveniently located directly above the Daimaru department store. There's a direct elevator from the JR station straight up to the 19th-floor lobby. They only clean your room every fourth day of your stay. The room is relatively small but has almost everything you need. But the location is superb, literally just next to the Osaka Station, just have to get out from the right exit gate. There's also a bus terminal just outside the hotel and you can purchase the bus ticket to the airport on the same day of your departure.

there’s only one thing i wanna feedback is about this hotel they use centralised air conditioning. I’m travelling in early dec, that is only for heater… which we have to request to the hotel to open up the window for cold air to flow in - which mean the temperature is uncontrollable, is whether u have to open up narrower or wider of the window to decide and most likely you can’t get a ideal temperature...

We liked a lot the location - close to all the shops you might need. Our room was quiet small, for two beds and two futons. We enjoed our stay especially because of the breakfast. A wade range of dishes including vegetables, meats, fruits. A bit japanese style, a bit european style.

Excellent location, very close to Jusan (Juso) subway station, making it easy to get to Umeda. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, so it's not noisy at night. There are also many restaurants nearby. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Osaka.

This hotel has a lot of Minion-themed elements, and there's a Universal gift shop in the lobby. While it's not the closest to Universal Studios, it's very quiet, and you can see the park from the room windows. The breakfast is quite extensive, offering both Japanese and Western options.

I booked this hotel based on recommendations, and the location is indeed excellent, plus the surrounding area is quiet, and the staff service is great. However, the room is really too small; there's no space to open a suitcase. It's barely okay for one night, but staying longer would feel cramped.

I checked out from candeo wakayama amd checked into candeo namba. Similarity.. the rooms were huge. Buttt the cleaning wasnt good! There were stains on the sofa. Housekeeping wasnt thorough. Somedays dirty towels that were put aside wasnt picked up. Even rubbish was not cleared! What a difference when compared with my previous stay.

The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and had everything I needed. The large public bath on the top floor has two big pools, one indoor and one outdoor. After a long day of walking, my legs were shot, so a soak in the evening felt absolutely amazing.

The main draw is really the convenient location. Other than that, it feels pretty standard for the price. Given the location and price point, there's nothing bad to say. Luggage storage was easy, and the air conditioning worked great.

The room was spacious. Toiletries were collected at check-in. On a weekday, we went to Universal Studios in the afternoon, entering after 3 PM (bought tickets for 2 adults and 1 child at a nearby Lawson convenience store for 780 RMB). The next morning, we took a boat from a nearby pier (400+ RMB for 2 adults and 2 children, bought on-site, and you can book the aquarium for the morning).

The room is very small, about 26 square meters, but it feels less than 20. A five-star hotel that costs almost 2,000 a night, but no slippers? The bathrobe is so thin and cheap? Hotel is a 5 min walk from Shin Osaka station (exit 4) which makes it convenient.  Many restaurants and eateries at Shin Osaka station. Wide selection of Japanese and Western choices at hotel buffet breakfast - sashimi (salmon and tuna), miso soup, ramen, fried prawns, sukiyaki beef, fruits (pineapples, mangoes), breads, hotdogs, bacons etc.

Room that we booked are quite spacious for 3 Adults with 2 medium luggage laying open on the floor. We are given a room on the 24th floor (highest floor) with a nice city view and part of the train track. Location is good for those traveling to Osaka via Shinkansen as hotel is near to Shin-Osaka station. Easy to find foods and traveling to most of the tourists attractions.

The hotel is quite large, but they don't even offer coffee, and you have to queue for breakfast. The water pressure is very low. Coming from Umeda Station, you'll want to find the East Mall, then walk straight until you reach exit M10 of WHITY PLAZA Izumi Square. The first time can be a bit confusing because there are so many people, so make sure to look up for signs. Once you've done it once, it's easy to navigate, and there's an elevator exit. Turns out, if you follow Google's directions to JR Namba Station's Exit 32, you'll find the hotel in a second! Plus, the bus stop for Kansai Airport is right next door. The hotel's location is unbeatable.

The food in the breakfast session is just above average, no big surprise. Others are excellent.

The location is nice as you have shelter to the Osaka Station. Will recommend the others to stay.

Not the hotels’ fault that I picked this location, most of the food and shopping we wanted was just a train ride away. Getting into the hotel between 3 and 4pm was difficult because of check in being on the second floor and buses of guests arriving at that time. All were using the lifts to get to reception, so we had to go somewhere else while the new arrivals checked in.

The location is good surrounding with lots of resturant and shops. JR stations are also nearby. I ordered goods twice  from Amazon Japan delivered to hotel and the services were very good.

Monterey Group hotels really have great taste! Definitely worth staying at!
