So many rules, and the room was just mediocre. The whole check-in experience was really bad, sigh. They're super strict about check-out times, and both the check-in and check-out processes are incredibly tedious. Honestly, staying here felt more like being processed for detention.

The hotel is accessible and well located, the staff was nice and friendly and the place is near the subway station.

A great experience overall, but getting anywhere requires a long walk since there's no subway or bus service nearby in Japan. Everything depends on walking. The cleanliness was excellent. I expected a tiny room, but it turned out to be just right in terms of size.

I had a wonderful two-day stay here. The hygiene was impeccable, and the room was quite spacious. My favorite part was the communal kitchen in the common area. I wasn't quite used to Japanese food, so it was a lifesaver that the kitchen was fully equipped. I could prepare my own meals.

The location is not far from the station. The staffs are very friendly and they gave us good recommendation for halal food as well during our stays.

Japanese hostels are really clean, much better than those in China, and relatively quieter. Overall, Japanese hostels offer great value for money, with well-maintained facilities and meticulous service. They're perfect for budget-conscious backpackers, solo travelers, or those who enjoy socializing, especially in areas like Kansai with many attractions.

This stay was fantastic, especially the convenient check-in process. The owner was super nice and made checking in quick and easy. Plus, it felt very secure, which put my mind at ease. I even overslept, and the owner didn't charge me extra – so thoughtful!

The room is tiny, just right for one person; any more and you'd be fighting for space. My 28-inch suitcase couldn't stay open, but there was room to store it when closed. There's hardly any staff around, which actually made for a very relaxed stay. The location is decent; if you're up for a walk, you can get to Shinsaibashi in less than half an hour. The closest subway station is about 500 meters away, a straight shot. There's a FamilyMart right next door, which is super convenient. The soundproofing isn't great, but the hot water in the bathroom was perfect for a bath.

The hotel environment is actually very good, but this is the first time I've encountered something like this! Around midnight, the hotel alarm blared, and everyone rushed downstairs, barely dressed.

1. There was no one at the front desk, and I couldn't reach anyone by phone. Even Trip.com couldn't get through to them. Although there was no actual incident...

2. ...it was actually other guests who called the fire department and security to investigate.

The entire process lasted 50 minutes. No staff member came out to explain or reassure us. We were completely without service, and guests had to sort things out among themselves.

Furthermore, there was no compensation or explanation given.
