Had a wonderful weeklong stay here. From the start, The reception was warm and welcoming. Super simple check-in some rules and a few tips about the property. The host was great with a smile and greeting every time you walked by.

You’re in the heart of it all. Walking distance to most of the popular sites. With a little extra space an a few extra amenities like a kitchen and a washer, which is great if you’re traveling multiple cities.

I would definitely stay here again on my next stop in Osaka. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

10/10. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Generous size rooms for japans standard. We could lay both our massive luggage open all the time and still have room. Bathroom was nice and big too. So nice having a washing machine in the room as well. The hotel is great walking distance to places with a few Conbinis very close. Renz, one of the concierge staff, was so helpful. His English was so good and was able to help us organise luggage on-forwarding to our next destination which was such a big help. All the staff were very accommodating. Definitely book hotel Nico for your stay in Osaka!

Easy check in, lift available, room was narrow and clean as expected for a Japanese apartment, fit 2 double beds comfortably and a family of 4 lived easily around eachother. The bathroom setup is phenominal with the exhaust fan having the option to dry clothes...this feature is great, as was having your own washing machine.

We knew japanese rooms were going to be small and suitecases would be difficult to access so we had soft case top opening (not hard shell, clam style) suitecases and used packing cubes which made accessing our stuff very easy.

Close walking distance to Dontonbori area, but taxi did get confused and drop us to the Nikko Hotel...so have clear directions if using a taxi to arrive at your location. We would definitly stay again.

We loved our stay at Nico Hotel and would recommend to friends and family. It felt like home from the minute we walked in. The guy at reception (Filipino guy) was very polite and warm. We were given coupons and information about Osaka, things to do and the activities we can do around the area. Our room was spacious, clean, fully equipped and comfortable. It felt so homey because it had a small kitchenette, washing machine (plus detergent for everyday of our stay, a balcony where we could hang our clothes etc. It was all the little details that really made the experience worthwhile. We loved Osaka because of Nico hotel. It was close to so many shops and walking distance to Dotonbori. Felt more like an apartment than a hotel. Excellent.

Highly recommend this hotel! It had good beds, a kitchen, clean comfort room. Amenities include toiletries and towels. It's not a full service hotel so you do have to clean up after for yourself but if it's a short stay, there would be no problem at all. Near 7/11 & Lawson. Nearest train station is 12-15 mins away. It had lots of lil restos around too.

We stayed in a triple room, space is small but you can make it work.

02.11.2022 Iver

Stayed at in 2020 before the pandemic. The 4-bed room we got could easily fit 8 people. The Laundry room, bathroom, and small kitchen area was well-equipped. If we knew it was going to be this nice, we would've stayed longer. A long walk from the nearest shinkansen station, but well worth it.

23.11.2020 chris

Quiet neighbourhood, clean and new facilities. Super great for big groups as there can be 4 double beds in one room. It's basically like a Japanese style apartment hotel.

02.02.2020 Henry

It is great when compare to the hotel cost. Has to walk around 15 mins to Namba station but the hotel price is very cheap.

27.12.2019 V

This is a new hotel, very clean. It has all basic needs. Wi-Fi is working very good. However it’s very small in North American standard. It has a kitchen and clothes washer. It is lack of space to put your stuff. It would be better with more shelves, folded chairs and table. It’s 12 minutes walking distance from subway station. 7-11 and etc. stores are nearby.

04.07.2019 Evelina

Very convenient. Close to dotonbori, namba etc.. thankyou Nico hotel
