Very good location. The bed was comfortable and the staff was nice, fast at replying to query emails eventhough it was through trip.com system.
The bathroom could have been cleaned but that comes a lot from guests' etiquette as well.
And they don't make your bed everyday which is fine for me but could be an issue for others, especially of you stay for a long period.

The check-in policy is strictly enforced, with no allowance for late arrivals than 10 p.m., and unlike other places, they do not offer any late accommodation options. Early check-in for the previous night is also not permitted, which is rather unusual. The service attitude is extremely poor, contrasted by an overwhelming sense of arrogance.

The noise of motorcycles at the mid night was very loud and annoying, but I knew it was out of hotel owner’s control.

The Worst Hygiene and Service I've Ever Experienced

From the moment I stepped into the room, I was taken aback. Right there on the tatami mat, a few unmistakable hairs lay in plain sight—private ones, clearly left behind. This alone suggested that the room hadn’t been properly cleaned since the last guest checked out. It was obvious that no deep cleaning or even basic vacuuming had taken place.

As I inspected further, things only got worse. The bed was in a shocking state: yellow stains and small spots covered the sheets, bed cover, and pillow. It was clear that these linens hadn’t been laundered properly, or perhaps at all.

I immediately reached out to the staff and politely requested a fresh set of sheets and a more thorough cleaning. The first staff member I spoke to repeatedly insisted that the room had already been cleaned. But as soon as she saw the you-know-what-hair on the tatami, she fell silent, seemingly realizing there was no denying the condition of the room.

Later that evening, we encountered a different staff member, but instead of empathy or assistance, we were met with hostility. This staff member was not only defensive but outright aggressive. She told us bluntly that if she had been present earlier, she wouldn’t have changed the sheets at all for us, she kept insisting that the room had been cleaned well—despite the clear evidence to the contrary.

While I can tolerate a bit of dust or minor imperfections, I cannot tolerate outright dishonesty combined with aggressive, unprofessional behavior. Not once did anyone apologize or take responsibility; instead, they kept repeating the lie that the room was "already cleaned." To top it off, this second staff member even went so far as to threaten us, claiming that asking for an apology was "illegal in Japan." I was left speechless.

For those considering a stay here, I’ve included photos as proof of the room’s condition. Look for yourself and decide if this is a place you’d want to stay.

In my opinion, avoid this place at all costs. This isn’t just a dirty establishment; it’s a dishonest one.

Very bad experience about this hostel. I booked 3 nights. I was outside of the building around 1010pm. They not allowed me check in. And They says to agoda they were waited me until 1015pm. They don't said any true thing. Bad attitude and service. Second day I come back to check in they not allowed me check in again. And asked me leave. Even i said I will contact agoda. They said not allowed At there hostel to sit and wait the respond. sooooo bad experience.

Very bad experience, they do not allow you to leave your luggage with the front counter if you arrive early.

I understand you can only check in at 3pm, but not being able to leave your luggage if you arrive early, it should be stated clearly prior to checking in. I understand that they even want to charge for leaving your luggage with the front desk. I will cancel my stay if I had known this, definitely won't recommend this.

The dormitory room does not have too many beds so it is quite comfortable. The bathrooms and WC are so clean. Reasonable price.

Solid if you can get this cheap. Everything is clean. The common area is tiny though. They have a washing machine but no dryer. They do have a clothes line. For faster drying go to nearby laundromat Sentakukan, it'll dry it in 12 - 20 minutes for like ¥200 - 300.

Also if you are a rain gear man, you'll find it hard to locate a washing machine that doesn't include detergent that has bleach in it. If this is so then this is the place for you because, they have a regular washer and a clothing line to dry your water proof stuff!

Clean, comfy, near to everything. Definitely stay here again
Staffs were helpful. The bed was clean and comfortable. There are 2 shower rooms for lady and 2 shower rooms for man on 2/F. The water was hot and strong. There were a small safety box, plugs, 2 hooks and 2 hangers on the bunk wall. The location was really great. 5 minutes walk from Nankai Namba Station(南海難南站) and Namba City. 3 minutes walk to Kurmon Market (黑門市場). Many restaurants, bars and convenience store nearby.
