Great hospitality, warm welcoming staff. Everything you can imagine is packed into the hotel room, including a washing machine and dryer in the shower room. English speaking staff are fantastic offering great tips on Kyoto tourism. Best hotel in Kyoto. Very quiet, had a good sleep. I also stayed here for a week about 3 years ago.

Extraordinary hotel, highly recommended. The owner's service is wonderful. Everyone helped us in English, giving us directions, suggestions, and recommendations for our stay and travels in Japan, which we greatly appreciate. The room was very spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. It's very central, with several metro stations nearby for easy travel. The area is lively and vibrant, with many places to eat and supermarkets. A great hotel, it was the best hotel of my 10-day trip in Japan.

I cannot recommend Hotel Goco Stay Kyoto enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and hospitable, making us feel instantly at home. They were so friendly and provided fantastic local recommendations that enhanced our trip.

It's not a 24-hour front desk, so please be mindful of check-in times. The hotel has a great location in a bustling commercial area. The front desk staff were friendly and provided detailed check-in instructions. The rooms have washing machines, and the bathrooms have heating and dehumidifiers. Overall, a very good stay!

The most amazing hotel we stayed in during our trip! We stayed in 5 different hotels and this was the best one by a mile, mainly due to the owner (sorry I forgot his name!) and Milan, who were both so friendly and helpful and really made our stay feel so warm and welcomed. The room had a microwave and a washing machine, we did not use the washing machine but the microwave was nice to heat up konbini food. It was clean and spacious enough for two. Location was excellent with many attractions & restaurants within walking distance. From the hotel we were able to walk to dotonbori, shinsaibashi, shinsekai, etc. And we were able to eat the best yakitori we ever had thanks to Milan's restaurant suggestion! If we come back to Kyoto we will return to this hotel!

Shops and public trasnports are nearby ! The staff are super friendly and make sure you spend an amazing time. I will definitely book it again and recommend you to do so !

The hotel has a great location, very close to the nearby pedestrian street.

Amenities: The shower in the room has a dryer, so clothes dry very quickly, which is something other hotels don't have. There's also a microwave and washing machine available.

Service: There are Chinese-speaking staff, but they aren't always available. If they aren't, the landlady will come out and speak Chinese, and can even show you to your room if needed.

Environment: The hotel doesn't have many rooms; there are probably only five or six per floor.
