Beautiful full ocean views in a small, very well kept traditional Japanese-style hotel. Very clean and nicely furnished. Wonderful kaiseki meals with fresh
local fish and unique dishes. Quiet, isolated beachfront property with a small, plain beach area and concrete sea wall for fishing. Peaceful and tranquil weekend in quiet Tateyama.

First of all, be careful not to put anything on the TV cabinet! In the past, the Japanese were short in stature, and this type of old house was designed and built to their stature, making it particularly easy to hit the head. The hotel has two foreign employees who speak English and one who speaks a little Chinese, but when they are away, the other employees' English is choking enough. Should a hotel with such specifications teach all employees to use mobile translation software instead of swearing at guests to speak a bunch of Japanese in anticipation of a miraculous understanding? Breakfast was indeed good, but the motivation to get up so early came from the beautiful view outside the restaurant window, which unfortunately did not enjoy for two days because we did not arrange for us to sit by the window. The second breakfast also specifically asked us to change the time to eat half an hour early, as a result, we sat in a corner, completely see the worst location of the scenery, and then appeared to dine several groups of Japanese guests (that is, at the time we originally booked) were arranged to sit by the window, very curious if this distinction is discriminating against foreign guests? The door handle inside the door of the guest room has a blue sticky thing stained on it, like chewing gum and the like, very nasty, the cleaning did not notice and did not clean it off, got me a hand, took my own disinfectant tissue to wipe clean, lazy to complain, front desk English is too bad afraid of unclear communication. The hotel introduction clearly stated that every morning there is a free shuttle bus to Kansan Station (other hotels have), in the lobby asked the young female employee, she ran to ask the male manager, the manager said to her a few words with a stinking face, she told us with an apologetic face that there was no shuttle bus please go out and take the bus...

I was very satisfied with everything from the service, the room, the food, the bath, etc. The lounge service included free coffee, draft beer, whiskey, small cakes, inari sushi after dinner (lol), and scones in the morning. It may sound selfish, but I ended up eating a lot of things other than the food... The first drink of dinner was also free. Also, I left something (an electric shaver) on the sink, so when I got home and called immediately, they called back and said they would send it by courier, cash on delivery. It arrived carefully packed with cushioning material. I'm sorry for causing you unnecessary trouble, and I'm grateful for your thoughtfulness. Thank you very much.

Wonderful stay!
We had the most wonderful stay from beginning to end! Service was friendly and gracious. The room was beautiful. As was the onsen. And both breakfast and dinner were superb. The front desk alerted the kitchen it was my wife’s birthday the following week and they made us up a lovely little plate of dessert treats to top off our excellent kaiseki. Everyone of the staff we encountered truly went above and beyond. Thank you again. Arigato gozaimasu.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The building is not new, but it was clean. The hot springs were also very nice. There was a complimentary drink service, including beer, when we arrived and at dinner, which was nice.
