It's a nice cosy place to stay, though the pods don't have any ventilation and it can get stuffy in there.

Otherwise, great baths and facilities and everything is well maintained.

Only one member of staff can speak English but they do know how to use Google Translate!

Also amazing they still have room even in a pinch. Most of the patrons are Japanese solo travellers, so it's not exactly family or group friendly.

Absolute GOAT, but better get some earplugs in case of heavy snorers. Sort of wish the mats were a bit thicker, but prices this low is understandable. Strongly recommend to all who are going out most of the time, come back enjoy great public bath and crash.

A must visit and stay place. I visited Tokyo for a week from New York and l stayed whole week in this spa and capsule hotel. I heard about the capsule hotels in Japan and wanted to try it. Viola! It was way more than I expected of. I was worried about cluster phobia about sleeping in capsule but, I had no problem with it. I'm about 6 ft tall and when I half-sit inside capsule, there was plenty of head room. Spa is old but immaculately clean and well maintained. All the amenities are there for your hygiene. Staff are exceptionally kind and helpful and that is known when you visit Japan. The price is another surprise; its around $32 US which include sleep in capsule and 24 hour use of spa. It's located 3 minute walking distance from subway station so you can travel any where in Japan. I was lucky to find this place. I truly enjoyed. I don't usually write reviews however, I had such a good impression of this place and I wanted to write one and share this wonderful experience.

Used for the night before flying from Narita Airport to Amami Oshima. (for men only)

There was a Jalan (29 hours long stay without meals for 2,900 yen!), so I stayed in front of the untrodden Koiwa station for the purpose of Senbero.

The south exit of Koiwa station is the front, and it takes about 3 minutes to walk through the quieter north exit alley.

Old sauna, just what I needed. Plan to sleep in a large hall with partitions or a reclining seat. There are also blankets, pillows and electrical outlets.

The large public bath, water bath, sauna, body towels for dirt scrubbing, and indoor clothes are also helpful.

No alcohol or food is allowed inside! There is an on-site restaurant, but if you want to drink, I recommend the cheap izakaya in front of the station.

I can use a normal vertical locker, but I took out the contents of my 35L rucksack this time, reloaded it, and managed to accommodate everything.

I left my locker key at the front desk and could go in and out as many times as I wanted.

Check-in at 12:00 and check-out at 17:00 the next day.

Use it for a long time and recommend it for moderate cost performance

The restroom was clean.
It was nice to have a bath sauna.
The price is 3,700 yen including staying in a capsule and taking baths and saunas as you like.
I parked the car, but it was only 1,200 yen.
It was pretty good.

Only use the sauna once or twice a week. Due to the recent rise in commodity prices and energy prices, the price has been raised, but it is wonderful that you can choose whether or not you want to wear clothes in the room with this price revision. For me, who didn't need the hall wear every time, I'm happy that it's 100 yen cheaper if I don't need it.

In addition, since it is a sauna used by Koiwa locals, there are quite a few customers who do not follow the general manners, but the coldness of the cold water bath will sink into your bones (depending on the day and time of day, you may feel lukewarm...). , the best sauna so far, given the overall low crowds and proximity to home.
