MANGA ART HOTEL, TOKYO - Hostel in Tokyo

I enjoyed my stay here. The only thing that bothered me was my bed 416 right in front of the entrance has no under bed luggage space. I had to leave my bags out in the way. I tried my best to keep them within my area but there’s only so much I could do. During my stay everyone was quiet and respectful. I was worried about having the bed in front of the entrance because I’m a light sleeper but I had no issues. The ac and fans throughout the place kept everything cool. I would stay again if I could get a bottom bunk!

Pros:

- around the corner from the train station and 7/11
- two blocks from the laundry

Cons:
- no common area
- shower doesn’t stay warm
- not many English manga selections

This is a very affordable capsule hotel. It’s located near several train lines, making it very easy to travel. The staff are friendly and eager to help. However, I stayed here from late December to early January and noticed the rooms were freezing, as if the heater wasn't turned on. It was actually painful to try to fall asleep.

Chiyoda city is a good point to travel around tokyo and the hotel is right in the spot close to metro and bus stations. This place has everything you need and is comfy. You cannot expect to have a full fledged hotel room experience and put low rating. If you want that kinda of experience go to a expensive hotel instead. This was super comfy and budget friendly place.

Great location, very cool concept. Tons of manga in several languages and a couple small nooks for reading. The beds were comfortable and it was actually pretty quiet other than some people snoring. The lights and air conditioning (which some others have mentioned) didn’t bother me.

The main thing was that both the bunk and the main sleeping area smelled like feet the entire time womp womp

THE BEST PLACE IS EARTH

Perfect for manga lovers! Mostly recent manga. Good selection of manga in English! Sleep-wise, the capsule was a comfortable, run-of-the-mill pod. It does get a little stuffy in the capsule, but they have mini fans at the front desk you can grab and use. Be careful of the low shelves and sharp corners, I bumped my head a couple times. If you love manga, totally worth it to stay a couple nights.

The room is very quiet and agradable. Have many mangas in Japanese and in English. But the entrance is a little small for large baggage and the restroom is a little dirty.
Nevertheless, I would stay again on site, it was very nice.

In great care for a week. Will definitely be back for more.

Minimalistic but clean dormitory with a well-curated selection of comics. When it's time to sleep you practically climb into the bookshelves. Quite fun, if you're okay with capsule hotel style accommodation.
