R&B Hotel Otsuka-eki Kita-guchi in Tokyo

Had an amazing time in Tokyo. R&B Hotel is in a great location. It’s close to the train station (a two minute walk) with lots of shops and restaurants around. A 7-11 is right across the street as well. Connected to the hotel is a Royal Host which I had a nice breakfast at.

The hotel has 12 floors. The second floor is the lobby which has an assortment of amenities (washcloth, razor, q-tips, etc) to choose from if you need it. On the 4th floor there are washers/dryers, an ice machine, and a microwave. You can check the status of the washer and dryer on the TV in the hotel room.

While the hotel was a bit dusty, there were no issues I had. The room is smaller compared to hotels in the US. That’s just how it is in Japan. Please do some research beforehand. The bathtub was deep and I encourage everyone to soak in it. It’s great after being on your feet all day. Be aware the hotel has central heating and cooling.

The staff were nice and helpful. They offer a breakfast (must pay for) with a good variety of foods. The best amenity in my opinion is the hotel has a luggage delivery service through a company called Airporter. There is a QR code near the elevators on the 2nd floor. And yes you can change the language to English. They deliver luggage on the SAME DAY. Just to make sure you understand, they have SAME DAY delivery. I had my luggage sent from the hotel to Haneda Airport before my flight so I could do some more sightseeing. Luggage must be taken to the front desk by 9AM the day of pickup. You can also send luggage from one hotel to another so keep that in mind.

Overall I had a great trip and the hotel met my needs. It was nice and quiet, in a favorable location with plenty of entertainment nearby or a train ride away.

Loved this hotel so much. Convenient spot with a Don Quijote, McDonalds & a seven eleven all opposite it. Nice staff and the most peaceful train station sleep sounds. The pajamas were nice too :)

Love this hotel esp with the selection of amenities near the lobby. U got what you need. Very near to otsuka station. I always love and choose this neighborhood. Room wise, i believe it's Japan's standard. But it's comfortable and clean.

Not a bad room, although a bit small. In the bathroom, there is space for both a shower and bath. The breakfast buffet is ok, but there is no change to the menu, and there is no miso soup. Otherwise, location is good, right next to JR Ōtsuka Station on the Yamanote Line.

had a hard time finding this one some time in Aug 2019, but it's conveniently located near the restaurants, starbucks, and grocery stores. The staff are helpful.

Minimal and​ comfortable.

Great place to stay ! Lots of good food offerings around ! Very friendly English speaking staff, n they have a guided tour which should not be missed ..

The best place to stay while in Tokyo! The train station is right at the front of this hotel!
