Hotel Torifito Hakata Gion, Fukuoka1 / 20
8.8
Fukuoka, 8-24 Reisenmachi, rayon Hakata, 812-0039 Fukuoka, Prefektura Fukuoka, Yaponiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Clean and comfortable room, with everything well-maintained. Location is super convenient — close to Gion Station and walking distance to many attractions. Staff were helpful and friendly
This hotel was the start and end of our Fukuoka trip with a road trip out and other Ryokan stays in between. Im glad I found this hotel as room vibe and feel is very important to me
The mattress and pillows were good and comfortable. Breakfast was a great start to my first breakfast in FUK. The only thing is the room size
My tip is to slide your largest luggage to the gap next to window, prop up on the luggage stand for more space
walking from Gion station about 8 mins, good sauna, clean room and nice staff. there is a famous temple near by.
The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay: hangers at the entrance, slippers, a kettle and mugs with tea and coffee bags. The mattress may be a bit firm, but it's quite comfortable

Fukuoka, Befu 2-18-1 (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I would recommend this place as a first stay in Japan. If any upper management is reading this, Priyanka deserves a raise for going above and beyond for looking at bus schedules etc
I found this hotel when looking for a place near Fukuoka Airport to catch an early morning flight. It's in a good location, within walking distance if you're up for it
Their service is so considerate. I was staying there for 2 days, and I didn’t need them to clean the room and make the bed. That said, they gave me new towels for bath. How thoughtful.
The public bath is spacious, and even with multiple people, it doesn't feel crowded. The in-room bathroom facilities are also great, so I was very satisfied with this hotel
I would definitely consider staying here again if I have a late-night or early-morning transfer at Fukuoka Airport
One important thing to note is that the hotel provides a free shuttle bus, but only for domestic travel. For international flights, taking a taxi is the most convenient option

Fukuoka, 9-1, Gion-machi (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
breakfast is good and midnight snack ramen and dessert service are excellent i stayed queen-size bed room with quite space
The location is convenient and we love Dormy inn and everything. The onsen, breakfast and free ramen supper. Dormy inn never fail us.
Very convenient location, right in front of subway station and 1 station away from Hakata Station, canal city hakata is just across the street, yatai stalls all walking distance from hotel, lots of shops around the hotel, the onsen was wonderful!
Good breakfast and onsen. But the rooms are too small for a Dormi Inn, which carries the Premium label. Overall, we love this chain for the quality they provide and the onsen in every hotel.
The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Onsen is my favourite and it’s very nice and clean. Love their evening free ramen too
We also use their laundry a few times cos of the sweated clothes and their detergent smells really good!

Fukuoka, 2-8-19 Hakataeki-minami (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I had a very peaceful and pleasant stay. The hotel is a bit old but has everything you need and the staff is very kind. The breakfast was amazing too!
Nice place to stay. But have to pay parking daily fee
I'm grateful that there is a large public bath.
Good hotel, breakfast very delicious.
Everything nice, but the location?
However, there is an artificial radium hot spring underground, which was very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families or couples, but it's perfectly OK for business trips and solo travelers

Fukuoka, 1-17-17 Hakatahigashi (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It's so close to the Hakata station. Christmas market on the other side of Hakata station from November 1st to December was an unexpected bonus!
This Hotel is extremely recommended for the proximity to Hakata Station. Very convenient for the free coffee and amenities as well.
The room was small but clean and tidy. The location is super convenient, close to the station, and there's a convenience store nearby. It's also very handy for shopping, dining, and exploring. Very satisfied!
The hotel offers a breakfast with a variety of pastries, which is very convenient to take away, especially on days when you need to leave early for trips outside the city
I really loved the location as it is extremely convenient and very close to Hakata Station
Breakfast was basic; honestly, when staying in Hakata, you can easily skip the hotel breakfast. The location, however, was fantastic. It's within walking distance to popular bakeries, and Musashi is very close downstairs

Fukuoka, 1-1-33 Terukuni (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
A modern hotel resort situated right at the top of a hill, as reflected in the its name. We were greeted warmly with a welcome cup of hot tea, warm hand towels and really good chocolates
The room is clean and of a comfortable size with birds occasionally flying and chirping about in the trees outside the windows, against the backdrop of the Fukuoka City
Very comfortable stay, highly recommended. The tatami Japanese-style room was lovely, the sunset view was amazing, and the room was huge.
The breakfast comes as a set and it is highly nutritious, and of high quality. I would highly recommend breakfast here
Parking is available right outside the resort entrance
good tease good design and good service

It is recommended to stay for more than two days to visit the nearby attractions in Asakura, Hita and Yame City. There are many foreign employees working in the hotel, but their service attitude is mixed
The service and food were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were plentiful and delicious. We could relax and enjoy our traditional ryokan dinner in a private room
There is a hot spring bath that can be rented for 2000 yen per time, and the environment is beautiful. Although there is no private bath, overall the cost performance is very high
Apart from the remote location and average Wi-Fi, there are no disadvantages!! It was worth the two-hour bus ride. The food was exquisite and delicious when the sun was setting
Although it takes about an hour to drive here, many Hong Kong people choose this place. Most of the rooms are large and new, the breakfast and evening food are also very good, and the dinner style changes every day
The locations is rural but they provide free transfer from and to the JR station. The hot spring is over 40 degree celcius so it will be good to go in winter time.

The lowest price room is still a very spacious room. The dining area is surprisingly well-decorated. Breakfast is excellent. Free parking. There is a beautiful lounge in the lobby.
The staff was friendly, and the hotel lobby and garden were so pretty!! Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It was such a pleasant memory
We booked the dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The food was awesome.
High cost-performance ratio, good service and food. The rooms, though a bit old, were clean. I also booked a newly renovated room with a bath, which I highly recommend
This is a hidden gem! The staff was super nice and place was clean modern and new. We were glad we made a last minute decision to book this place
The facilities (e.g. lobby, hot spring) are great and new. Nice environment and food in the restaurant. Highly recommended and will stay again!

I had a dinner party there that night, so I decided to stay overnight. The room was very relaxing, and I was able to enjoy the jacuzzi and sauna. I felt like I was at a resort for a while, and I was sad to leave the room
Here we go~~ For me, except for the pillow, this place was better than the new One Hotel!! Exit Hakata Station's east exit and take the main road on the right. A leisurely 10-minute walk, a brisk 5-minute walk
The ambiance is charming, and the location is close to Hakata Station. The staff are excellent—polite and helpful. There's free parking with multiple entries, making it perfect for trips based in Fukuoka.
A new perspective to define luxury. A bit tropic and funky way of premium resort, of course: with A Style😊😊😊 The balcony, bathroom and the aisle after entrance are great spots for me and my husband
I always stay here when I come on business. The rooms are spacious and relaxing, so I can relax and unwind. The amenities and drinks are also great. The breakfast food is delicious!
Hip hotel, hip food, room, balcony, all-inclusive food~ And a hotel with a 2:00 PM check-out time ♥️❤️🩷 Stayed here twice

Fukuoka, 18-25 Saitozaki (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The highlight of my Fukuoka trip. It was quiet and relaxing, offered great value, had spacious rooms, and the staff were very friendly. After spending three days enjoying the park, we even extended our stay
The rooms are quite spacious and all offer sea views. It's located at Fukuoka's Uminonakamichi Station, with an aquarium and a large park nearby, perfect for a relaxing two-day stay at the hotel
Reservation required for restaurants. Night pool only available to adults. Free shuttle bus between the hotel and Hearts Bus Station Hakata. Swimming ring JPY 3000, sandals JPY 2000
A beach getaway that felt incredibly relaxing! It's conveniently located right next to an aquarium and a water park. Dinner at the Western restaurant was truly unforgettable
There's a shuttle bus service to and from Hakata Station; you might want to inquire about its pickup/drop-off point at Hakata Station before checking in
A clean and convenient hotel. The only downside is that the beach isn't swimmable.

Specific amenities include complimentary bath salts in the lobby, the ability to refill toiletries, a variety of drinks in the room, vending machines (for a fee), two hairdryers, face masks, mouthwash, and various skin creams in the bathroom, and countless more
With its diverse amenities, spacious rooms, friendly owner, separate bathtub and toilet, complimentary breakfast delivery (choose one of seven options), and well-maintained facilities, it's definitely worth booking
While it may be a bit out of the way, the owner's dedication makes up for it. If you have the chance, definitely stay here
Although there were couples staying, it felt no different from a regular hotel, with all guests being polite and quiet. Complimentary breakfast was provided
Excellent value for money, very friendly staff, spacious room
Despite its age, it offers a far better value for money than most business hotels or four-star hotels

I like the service and breakfast. However, the bathroom in the room is small and the facilities are old. The window in the room doesn't open, even though I wanted to. I tried to force it open, but it was hard
) There are no convenience stores (or supermarkets) around the station. If you need to prepare breakfast, I recommend buying it before you reach the nearest station
Of course, the room has a bathtub, but there is also a large public bath, and I was able to use it right away, which was great. There are four showers and faucets, and the bathtub is big enough for 4
It said that check-in was until 11pm, so I called the hotel and they told me that I could check in until midnight, and that there was a side entrance after that
It's about a 3-minute walk from Hakozakimiyamae Station Exit 3, but the elevator to the ground level takes you to Exit 4, so it's quite a detour. (And there were few streetlights, so it was pitch black and quite scary
Is the building heated even if the indoor air conditioning is turned off? It was quite hot, but there was a humidifier (air purifier) so it was comfortable

On the other hand, the door to my room didn't seem to seal very well, as I could hear the loud noise from other rooms' TVs, which was a bit bothersome. It wasn't so loud that I couldn't sleep, just a little annoying
Very near to bus terminal and easy to go to the Hakata. A lots of buses to Tenjin. Near to Ai Town, a small shopping complex.
The bed is extremely comfortable. You can either drink at the nearby retro-style bar or sleep like a log in your room
I went to the public bath several times, and there was never a soul there, so I was able to relax comfortably
I don't know because I didn't order breakfast, but I'd like to add it next time I go. There's also a sauna on the first floor, so it would be good to use it
Best accommodation that you can't help but love :) Spacious and warm atmosphere, close to the bus terminal, supermarket, and many good restaurants

There were two large beds, so it was spacious enough for the whole family to sleep in. There was also a pool, sauna, and gym available for use
It was very clean and the pool and sauna were great.
Nice hotel and amazing stay for driving Besides it is hard to find the reception, everything is great. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. I like there is a jacuzzi inside the room
The lounge offered free drinks, alcohol, snacks, and light meals like cheese, and was open until 11pm, but children were only allowed until 7pm, so unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use it
They had dishes using mentaiko, which gave it a local feel and was enjoyable. It was also entertaining to see the chef cook right in front of you. There are so many good points to mention,
I stayed here after staying at the sister hotels in Saga and Nagasaki. It was a wonderful trip, just as good as Saga and Nagasaki. Dinner and breakfast were especially excellent

I only used it as a drop-in bath, so I don't know about the guest rooms, but the hot spring was lukewarm and not very warm. There was no sauna, and it was cold even though it was March. I think that's enough.
My feedback is on the family bath as we did not stay here. We landed this morning and stopped here to use family bath on route to Yufuin. Booked family bath 2,600yen for 90mins
I dropped in and enjoyed the hot spring. The building feels a little old, but the hot spring was great. The warm water contains three elements: sulfur, alkali, and carbon dioxide, so you can soak in it for a long time
The beauty-enhancing hot spring water felt so good that I ended up soaking in it four times. The food was very stylish, delicious, and just the right amount
And best of all, all the staff were very friendly! The building may seem old, but it's kept clean and has a playful feel, so I had a really enjoyable time
It's a shame that the weather was bad and we couldn't enjoy the garden or rooftop, but we still enjoyed our 24-hour stay without getting bored

Fukuoka, 3 5 13 Kotobukicho Hakata (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
First time to stay here in Green Hotel, small room but it’s nice and clean and the staff are nice and helpful, it’s convenient because near to the Minami Fukuoka station and easy to find the place ……there’s a restaurant infront of the reception
I was lucky and able to get a room for half the regular price. For this price, I cannot complain. Room was relatively clean, except there was a cleaning rag inside the sink
The rest of the restroom looked like staff just cleaned it so perhaps cleaning staff forgot the rag. Air conditioner worked great. Access to big bath 2 minutes walk away
The room was decent for the price paid. Not a smoker but the only room left was a smoking room. Close to the JR station so it’s very convenient.
I don’t mind the slight inconvenience because you got free ticket to a sento and it feels like a separate experience
Great hotel a couple of minutes from the train station

Fukuoka, 203-1 Hakishiwa, Asakura-shi, Fukuoka (43 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Breakfast was included and it was Japanese style, not my cup of tea, but the presentation was excellent
It's located in a remote area and high up in the mountains, making it difficult to access without a shuttle or rental car. Perhaps due to a lack of staff, there are many Nepalese staff. Overall, the staff are friendly
As the name suggests, the view is everything. The tatami mats in the rooms can be a bit strong, so those with sensitive skin should wear a mask. The amount of drinking water provided in the rooms is limited
The Japanese female staff at the restaurant, who tries to speak a little Korean, is also very helpful. The in-room baths are not kakenagashi-style hot springs, but rather refillable
The food menu is varied, but not particularly diverse, and the portions are rather small. It's basic, neither exceptional nor lacking. They don't offer any assistance with luggage
Special mention for the gentleman who served us at dinner - very polite and helpful. If the hotel did some renovation/renewal, it could potentially enhance the overall experience

Fukuoka, 1-3-70 Momochihama, Sawara-ku (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It's very close to the Fukuoka Urban Expressway, right after you exit. Nishijin Station is about a ten-minute walk, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options around there
The parking lot next door is quite expensive, around 1500-1600 yen a day, but you can enter and exit freely. You might find cheaper parking a bit further away
The decor is a bit old-fashioned, with no smart features, but it was an experience to see that 'old money' style
First of all, the transportation is extremely inconvenient. The hotel consists of three or four buildings, resembling apartments, with the lobby far from the rooms
The window faces directly onto the opposite building; if you open the curtains, you can clearly see everything across the street, including the beds
The bed was covered with just a sheet and a mattress protector filled with cotton wadding—uncomfortable and unhygienic

Our reservation was canceled, but the hotel apologized and offered us a much better room at a great price. com even compensated us for the price difference. Thanks to the excellent service from both the hotel and Trip
The room is small but sufficient for 1-2 people, though there's only enough space for one large suitcase. Check-in is via a password, and the women's hot bath on the third floor also requires a password for entry
The hotel is about a 7-8 minute walk from JR Station and very close to Yodobashi Camera, probably 4-5 minutes away. In the afternoon, the hotel offers complimentary drinks, alcoholic beverages, and snacks
This hotel was our choice for a family trip. The room we initially booked was actually unavailable, even though it was still listed on the website
com, our trip was even more enjoyable. We were also incredibly impressed by the kindness of the hotel staff! ♡♡
The bath isn't very big; 15 minutes is plenty as it gets quite hot
