The building and room facilities are old, the accessibility is not so good, and the rooms have steps, so it is not suitable for elderly people.

Apart from the remote location and average Wi-Fi, there are no disadvantages!!
It was worth the two-hour bus ride. The food was great. The food was exquisite and delicious when the sun was setting.

It is recommended to go there early, as dinner is at 6 or 6:30.
The hot springs are both indoor and outdoor and very comfortable.

Because it is a long-established establishment, the building is old, but it is well-cleaned and has a clean feeling.
My grandchildren also enjoyed the hot springs, and they especially liked the jungle bath with the slide. The quality of the hot springs was good and the food was delicious, so I would like to go again.

Although it takes about an hour to drive here, many Hong Kong people choose this place. Most of the rooms are large and new, the breakfast and evening food are also very good, and the dinner style changes every day. It is recommended to stay for more than two days to visit the nearby attractions in Asakura, Hita and Yame City. There are many foreign employees working in the hotel, but their service attitude is mixed. There is a hot spring bath that can be rented for 2000 yen per time, and the environment is beautiful. Although there is no private bath, overall the cost performance is very high. There are baby seats and baby play areas, as well as children's and baby bathrobes for rent, which are very suitable for families traveling with children.

The locations is rural but they provide free transfer from and to the JR station. The hot spring is over 40 degree celcius so it will be good to go in winter time.

I was surprised to see so many foreign staff members, but they all worked so hard and I liked them.

The service and food were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were plentiful and delicious. We could relax and enjoy our traditional ryokan dinner in a private room. The onsen baths are great. There are a variety of baths that have relaxing and interesting atmospheres. The only negative point was the old toilet attached to the room, which had a smell.
