The room was ridiculously small. I definitely won't be staying here again.

Great hotel location. The dining hall is good with a buffet spread. However, in the deluxe room, the window is drafty, the heater isn't working, and the TV has no signal. The entire room feels quite run-down.

We arrived at 2 AM and had no issues checking in since the front desk operates 24/7. The staff were very helpful, and the room was clean with comfortable beds and pillows.
The location is convenient—just a minute walk to a CU convenience store, and there’s also an ATM nearby.
The only downsides were the shower, which was either too hot or too cold, and the fact that there’s no elevator so carrying luggage might be a bit challenging.
Overall, a good stay with great service and convenience.

The receptionist did not give us a deluxe double that we booked, but an inferior room that was dirty (see photo). She asked for a $40usd deposit without a receipt until we requested multiple times. Eventually they changed our room after complaining it’s not what we booked. Most of the rooms does not have a workable lock. We subsequently saw some dubious articles in the little red book.
To be fair the location is good, walkable to main sites. And they have water filters (plus heaters and irons) available on most floors.

It’s a nice hotel close to a lot of places and restaurants staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is convenient. Short distance walk to a lot of places. The only thing i wished they had was an elevator so we can easily move the heavy luggage but the staff were super helpful in assisting with that

This place was all right, but definitely missing some key things. Pros: close to everything with a CU and mini market around the corner. Scandalista bar and restaurant next door makes awesome cocktails (food was okay as well).
Cons: TV didn't seem to work (took me about 20 minutes to make it functional). Toilet stopped flushing at some point, so I went to call the front desk, only to discover that the room phone didn't work 😂. Housekeeping "cleaned" the room, but only cleaned the toilet after a special request.
Overall, if you're on a tight budget, I think the room was fine for the money, but if you're willing/able to spend a bit more, I'd recommend going somewhere else for a stay in Almaty.

I had a good stay at Mildom Premium Hotel -- clean room, great location, and the lady at the reception during the day was very professional and friendly. However, one of the night staff (name showed as Alisher on WhatsApp) kept messaging me about showing me the city and told me to prepare money, including more money if I wanted to go to clubs. It felt unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. I hope the hotel looks into this.

Value for money, bit small room, but has everything, good location in city centre. Reception is very nice to waive fee for a broken glass

+ Convienent to walking in the city. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Stayed a week, cleaning was good but sometimes they forgot to leave clean towels and water. Need to replace refrigerator drinks daily so more drinks can be consumed.
