It's just super comfortable. Wonderful attitude of the staff. Clean. Magical. Well the whale shark ? - it is something!
Our first hotel in the Maldives. Long chose (including the budget). In terms of price/reef/privacy is a very decent option.
I liked.
1) there is a cut which will make excellent photos
2) good nutrition (taking into account the level of the hotel).
3) gets to the island on a normal plane, which is no doubt a plus, since you are not dependent on a possible storm.
4) a free tour of a neighboring island.
But there are downsides
1) reef in fact there is (as on other Islands)
2) the island has many rooms and houses are close to each other. Special solitude do not wait.

Was here in 2013 in November. Excellent transfer from male on bisaccate. The two Islands of San and holiday is managed by one team, a free Shuttle and convenience to record expenses for room on both Islands...
Time of visit - June 2014. Impressed so far! Paradise! The island is small, but that he does not lose. Peace and grace, beautiful scenery, rich and clean sea, interesting diving, snorkeling, the staff is very polite and friendly and the class itself can be found who do not like to lie all the time on the lounger. The proximity to the airport does not prevent. Planes do not fly often and the noise from them, as, for example, on the beach in Adler. The noise is probably from the surf, which is the place to be on the same side of the island and the airport. Sunrise and sunset in 6 hours (am and PM, respectively). Ie 7-8 PM there is already dark. Be careful: the water bungalows on the island THERE! Photo with them is the neighbouring island of San, it is more like, noisy unlike Holliday

We had a fantastic one week stay at Holiday Island. All the staff were very helpful, smiling and always ready for our needs and wishes. The view from the bungalow was just like from a postcard. The whole island is continuously kept in an amazingly clean and neat condition.
I can highly recommend to book it with full board meal plan. All breakfast, lunch and dinner were abundant. There is always many options to choose from. Unless you are on a very special diet your tummy will be full and happy. :D

Most beautiful place I have ever visited. This was way back in 2014 December but still can't get over it.
The resort is small and has less amenities but still worth the stay. The beach is clean and the service is amazing. You won't complain a bit about the food or service.
They provided us breakfast even at 3.45 am so that we don't go hungry to airport.
The beach bungalows are well maintained and clean. The open air shower in each rooms are amazing.
Will love to visit again if given a chance. Although planning for a water bungalow next time which was not available at this resort. Their another property, Sun Island and resort is equally amazing and has more facilities to offer.

Our stay at Holiday Island Resort and Spa was really wonderful. There were not too much visitors there, so it was very quiet. The atmosphere was perfect. Also to mention is the food. Although it is buffet, it was really really good. Actually one of the best AI hotel-buffets I had. There were variations everyday. The salad and fruits were fresh and the food was always served in a lovely way. The staff is attentive and helpful. Also the small, air conditioned Gym has enough equipment for a nice bodywork.

Before booking, you should check all options and choose the one, which fits the best for you.

The resort is much more beautiful, than on the pictures. :-) it is truly a paradise. We spent about a week here,which was really exciting,they offer multiple snorkelling trips,we had enough things to do. We enjoyed the fish feedings as well. The food was great and varied. The rooms are ok,the outdoor shower is amazing! The staff was kind and polite! :)
