St Julians, Ross street, STJ 3246 Sent-Dzhulians, Malta 🧭 Map
A nice boutique hotel which is ideally located near to buses and centre of St. Julian’s. Staff are excellent and accommodated our request for a room with a view.  Only downside was the noise from nearby building work and when residents came in late at night. The hallway noise carries.  All in all a good stay despite the rainy weather!
The room was very noisy and too hot, no AC during March month. The hotel offered us a new room but it was even hotter. Despite that service was really good but they couldn’t do anything about the AC. Breakfast was OK, everything else was good. location was perfect.
Good customer service and spot management
Great location, clean and modern rooms, nice stuff. Breakfast wasn’t bad but wasn’t amazing either.
The hotel is maybe in the best location. I was happy when i found that there is a parking for the guests with low extra cost. Very nice and comfortable room.
Location: superb - in the heart of St Juan's, with St Julian's and St George's beaches within a 10-minute walking distance. Also, between 2 bus stops, both in the direction of Valetta and Golden Beach. Reception: All receptionists were extremely helpful, offering recommendations and suggestions where to go and how to get there Room cleaning: the rooms were clean; however, there was no hairdryer until...

I recehad the good fortune to stay at the Alexandra hotel in St Julians Malta. The bedroom was lovely and clean and the buffet breakfast was ideal for the low cost stay. Thr reception staff was so helpful and accommodating and made sure I was collected in good time for my departure. For a single traveller such as I it was in a handy spot to get buses to Sliema, Gozo ferry and Valetta. Thanks to Patrick...
After reading the reviews here, I almost cancelled my reservation, but I'm glad in the end I didn't! I thought the hotel was pretty ok for the price, with excellent breakfast, the room wasn't super modern, but it was nice and clean, nothing was broken, there hot water kettle, the balcony was nice, it was possible to see the sea. There is outdoor pool, lounge area, and indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna...
I do not fully get the negative reviews. Yes its not the perfectest hitel on the Planet, but for me personally it was very nice. Everytime i addressed anything with the staff, it got immediatelly resolved. Breakfast was very noce and great quality, probably one of the best Ive had come accross. Maybe ita dependent on the season, but i have had zero issues that are mentioned here. Yes, its in the city...
The rooms were ok for a 3 star hotel. The pool and sauna were working, the pool is small for the number of guests, but again, the hotel has 3 stars. The view from the roof of the hotel is phenomenal. They take a deposit of 150e so be prepared for that. We did not see anywhere on the website that it says about a deposit. The staff is ok, they change towels every day.
Decent Stay with Room for Improvement I recently stayed at this 3-star hotel and overall, it was a decent experience. The hotel has 7 floors and features a rooftop pool (unheated), which is a nice touch for warmer days. There's also a small indoor pool with a side jacuzzi on the -1 floor, along with a sauna that unfortunately wasn't working during my stay. The gym is also located on that level, but...
Good hotel if you’re just wanting somewhere close and easy to all the bars and clubs. We stayed for 5 nights. Our bedding was never changed and neither were our towels. We got pool towels but if we wanted fresh ones it was $2. Some staff were lovely and others were a bit rude and abrupt. Rooftop pool was freezing so never went in. The gym had the heating on so it was very sweaty and nowhere...

Lovely cheap hotel right on Balluta bay! I did have an issue with my shower but it was fixed straight away, so great service!
I’m had a single room with balcony and sea view booked.  The location was great - Valetta a bus journey away as was Mdina and Rabat.  Bus service is excellent. The room was adequate for me.  However the noise from the road and downstairs bar was not good.  Glass doors ineffective for noise screening.had to buy earplugs.  Also the cleaning was sporadic and I had to ask everyday for my room to be cleaned...
Brilliant location close to amenities and beautiful views.
The hotel doesn't look like in the photos. All pictures should be updated. Rooms are very, very old stylish, should renovated.  Furniture should be replaced. The hotel is really good located, however if you don't have the most expensive rooms you don't have any view. Food was good however the same every day. It was more like English Breakfast.
The location was excellent and very convenient, and the rooms were comfortable and worth the price. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. Even though we checked in late at night, we received a very warm and friendly welcome from the front office staff member, Vishnu. He was polite, helpful, and explained everything clearly. He also shared useful tips about the area, which we really appreciated...
I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel during a business trip with my colleagues. The overall service was exceptional, and I would like to specifically commend the front office staffs, Vishnuraj and Keerthy. They were highly attentive, addressing all our queries with professionalism and a pleasant, welcoming smile, which significantly enhanced our stay.

A nice little hotel. Ultra clean, friendly staff, and relatively quieter than youd expect from the location. You will just need to bring shower gel, hand soap and whatever else as they dont provide them; and the garden would be quite nice if it was nicely cared for. If we were to come back to Paceville (probably wont) we would be happy to stay there again.
Based on the reviews, I didn't expect much, but the location is excellent, and the rooms and cleanliness are great too.
Honestly can’t fault this place. Very good location and I got a beautiful view as kindly requested from my room. The decor is a bit worn however but for the price you can’t complain. This is paceville so expect to hear music in the night but it was perfect for me as I was right next to the strip. Doors are locked at night for safety.
Read a lot of views about rude staff and this was not the case. I feel that staff are being rude to and that when you are respectful you are treated accordingly. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready even by 2pm but by 2.30pm we was assigned another room that was bigger due to the wait. Cleaning staff and reception staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated but clean a few things...
Excellent reception, very comfortable, the structure is a bit dated.
Cheap price rooms. Hotel a little rusty but clean. Very close to the beach. And nice restaurants and bars really close.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and the experience was generally very positive. Once I informed the reception, they addressed the problem promptly. By the time I returned to...
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel – the staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was excellent and varied, with the option of eating it on the rooftop terrace – fantastic. The room was clean and tidy, with everything you need. The sea view from the balcony was stunning. A very positive experience, I recommend it.
The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly too.the place was in great location everything walking distance most of them.
The sea view was great - really liked having a balcony. The bathroom was spacious. Great location with easy access to public transport and cafes and restaurants. Good value for money in overall - would recommend to others.

Very outdated. Room not clean. Service is good
My only complaints are that there was only 1 electricity outlet in the entire room so we had to take turns charging our phones and there was also no sound proofing so as a result we would go to sleep very late and wake up very early from the noises. Also the room service people would come in our room without asking or after 1 knock and one time we happened to be inside when they opened the door with...
The breakfast service was very good, but the rooms didn't have towels or cleaning products. We requested a check-up and a remote control for the TV, but they never brought it to us.
Slow Poor Unreliable Wifi. I ended up using my Mobile Data. Weak Shower water pressure. Toilet bowl looks dirty it has yellow stains that cannot be removed. On the good side, Room is big enough. Close to bus stop going to the airport. Has kettle, small fridge, safety deposit and A/C. No soundproofing, can hear other guests’ noise. Elevator makes weird loud noises and can be heard inside the room...
The hotel is well-located, close to the sea and approximately a 4-minute walk to the beach. The room was only partially cleaned, and toiletries were completely missing. I requested face towels at the front desk, but they were never provided.
It’s been a rollercoaster with this hotel, and I was changing my mind about it a couple of times, but here’s the truth. The hotel is not 4 starts for sure, but for what this price can buy in high season in Malta it’s a very adequate deal. Don’t expect anything fancy or anything beyond the most basic amenities. The hotel is good for staying there to sleep, but not spending time there. Don’t bother...

Nice hotel, I booked a deluxe room and it was comfortable and quiet. The staff is amazing, especially the cleaning staff, superstars 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The location is unbeatable 🥰 Please an upgrade on the mattress, it worth it.
Was Pleasant and nice rooms just a little noise but that’s the vibe of luqa Malta so get used to it. Staff amazing amenities always available and had good sleep.
The location and service are good, 300 meters away from the station, but the sound insulation is a little poor.
Good location. Modern building. Only negative was the breakfast as no good quality in my opinion. There are plenty of coffee places outside where you can have real coffee.
Great hotel close to the party district and beach. Good service and breakfast. Got free upgrade of the room because of my birthday.
First of all, the hotel is actually very convenient. It's a five-minute walk to the beach, where there are convenience stores, bars, and shops. However, the sign was a little unclear when I checked in for the first time. It's actually on a small road next to a restaurant with stairs going upstairs. The breakfast is average. I stayed in this hotel in February 2025 and I was very happy with the service. The room was basic, but clean and quiet - that's all I really need, and the bathroom was very modern and clean, with a decent shower. The night time receptionist was a very pleasant man who I enjoyed chatting to. He was due to attend a funeral in my home city of Cardiff a few weeks later - I helped him with regards to the...
Stayed here for a few nights, could have probably been worse. We found two thumb-sized cockroaches in our room and we didn't have any warm water coming out of the showers. One morning the fire alarm was screaming at us for...
I stayed at this hotel in March 2023. Overall, it’s a solid place. The rooms are a bit older and the furniture didn’t leave the best impression, but everything was clean and functional. The breakfast was great something light which is what you need. Can't believe this is only a 3 star it should be atleast a 4
The Allegro Hotel is great value for money: excellent location, friendly staff, clean & reasonably-sized rooms. It's on a fairly quiet side street not far from bars & restaurants, & only about a 5 minute walk from a supermarket (Welbee's) if you cut through Pendergardens residential area. Good value for money! Decent breakfasts, clean and nice rooms. It was quiet inside even though there was construction just outside when we stayed there.
The rooms need updating: walls need to be repainted & mold remediation. We wish we had known there was only a tub, no stand-up shower; I would have brought bathtub-appropriate products. While the staff was very courteous and pleasant with us, I saw people waiting at the front desk for unrealistic lengths of time because there was nobody behind the counter to help them.
A bit noisy because of the roadworks. Small room, but cozy and centric. Maybe a bit overpriced for the time of the year.
Loved the central location, bars, restaurants, shopping centre, grocery store all walking distance. Staff are very nice, courteous, and attentive. We had a great stay at Ddream. Good selection at breakfast.
Excellent stay. Fantastic customer service, staff very helpful and let me check in early. Lovely room, quite big and huge walk in wet shower/toilet room. Hotel is a street off the busy area, so very convenient without any noise of note. Excellent value for the price and ideal for a short stay 👍

Great value-for-money accommodation from which you can easily explore the island.
The room was very spacious with a queen-sized bed. It had an electric kettle, coffee, tea, a mini-fridge, and a hairdryer. In the morning, there was plenty of hot water, but in the evening, only lukewarm water was available, which was quite cold for March. Good, clean hotel. Average price. Very good price for what is offering. A good indian restaurant is at the floor. In the summer thay have a pool. The top floors offer a good view at the bay.
Clean hotel, helpful staff, central to all your needs, but still located in a quiet area of St.Julian's. Offering an award winning Indian restaurant Rasoi - mouth watering food. Don't miss out.
The hotel is on a good location, very close to many restaurants, shops and the public transportation. It is very clean, you get new towels on a daily level. Downside is the bed, it is uncomfortable, and really squickie. Also I found it odd that the bathroom didn't have the toilet brush. Beside that a good hotel, good value for money.

Malta is a hotel with the architecture of the old stone building. The staff is friendly and attentive. Manages the garden and pool. The hotel is very well maintained. the seats in the lobby was pretty dirty. Mosquito was there. Didn't have the wire in the window. Transportation is good. There are buses from the front.
